[C.43] Dark Visions
• A U T H O R ' S P. O. V •
In the middle of the quiet night, under the soft and silver glow of the moonlight reflecting through the large windows, lays an anxious and fear-stricken Seokjin. His eyes were screwed shut, his breathing became ragged, and beads of sweat started to multiply on his milky skin, which one by one soon trickled down his forehead. The white sheets of the bed became hostage under Seokjin's fingers as he gripped onto them tightly due to the scenarios flashing through his head, scenarios he'd rather not witness to be quite specific.
Once again, he was having one of his visions, his own exclusive previews of the inevitable future, and this one was oddly dark. The boy haven't had visions this disturbing for a long time, but then again it may be because of the war they were yet to engage in.
So as always, it was as if he was there where it was happening, but the only thing is he couldn't take control over his body and was only left there to watch helplessly, a thing he really hated.
Seokjin looked around and was rendered speechless when he found out that his vision was taking place in the palace of the Dark Realm. His attention was soon diverted to a sound of a girl crying, with his eyes widening even more in surprise after seeing Yeri kneeling on the floor with bruises all over her body, pleading to a woman standing in front of her with a dagger in her hands.
"Unnie, d-don't do this p-please." Yeri pleaded as she struggled in the chains that held her hands captive. "Why would you even want to prove your worth to them?!" The girl shouted while glaring at the Dark Lord, who only looked back at her with a satisfied and amused expression from his throne.
The other woman's back was facing Seokjin, and he can't afford to move and take a look at her face so he couldn't put a name on her figure. But soon, chills ran down his spine when he heard the woman speaking, her voice awfully familiar.
"My parents were killed because of them!" The woman bursted out in anger, "It's fortunate that I realized I was joining the wrong side before it was too late."
Yeri sobbed, "But w-we thought you already moved on? You said you're okay now that you still have us, you said it was okay-"
"I was lying! It's not okay!" The namless person raged, her eyes starting to brim with tears, but she wiped them off harshly before more could have the chance to flow out.
Yeri looked down. She didn't want to look at her unnie's once happy and cheerful eyes be replaced with fiery resentment and dark intentions. It was too much for the young girl to see the woman she looked up to turning out this way.
It hurts her. A lot.
"So I'm sorry, Yerim." The woman said, though her facade wavered for a millisecond, the smirk still became consistent on her face as she raised the dagger in the air. "But this is for the greater good. Say hello to mother and father for me."
"Don't!" Seokjin yelled despite knowing that his words will only be silent nothings, it was just a dream of the unchangeable future after all.
At this point, Yeri didn't even try to restrict her tears anymore.
"No!" Seokjin and Yeri's dread filled shout chorused.
Seokjin gasped and jolted up from his bed before frantically roaming his gaze towards his surroundings, the male sighing in relief a second later when nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. Seokjin took a deep breath as his hands cradled his head because of the small amount of pain still lingering in his head. A side effect of his gift.
When he already composed himself- or at least a little bit- his brows creased as he tries to recollect as much as he can from his latest vision. A growing amount of fear starting to creep in his heart when he saw some faces he can recognize, and when he was finally able to remember the most important part of the dream, his eyes widened.
"Seulgi."

Murmurs filled the air of the academy upon the arrival of both familiar and unfamiliar faces. It's been two days, two days since they arrived in the other world, so it means that they'd have to start with the second part of their plan around this time.
Retrieving the book.
The enchancians, both the ones who are aware that they are and the ones who do not, just ignored the obvious stares that burned onto the back of their heads. The group proceeded to enter the premises of the school and immediately went to the registration area, where they signed in and presented their fake ID's, all courtesy obviously going to Jimin.
"Let's try not to stand out too much," Namjoon announced, "We don't want the real students of SOPA to take notice of us."
The others nodded in agreement and made their selves more conscious of their surroundings.
"Don't worry, Joon." Jennie mused, "We're all pretty enough to be SOPA students and soon-to-be idols anyways."
While the rest of the group laughed at the very Jennie-like sentence, they didn't notice two other people exempting themselves from the humor.
Seulgi, who was unusually too busy spacing out in her own little world, and Seokjin, who kept a watchful eye on her. After what happened in his dream last night, his view on the girl shattered completely and he put his guard up when it comes to her now. Before he always labeled her as a tough, but kind girl, but now he had to rethink everything that he knew about her.
Seokjin once again faced the girl and raised his brow when Seulgi suddenly jumped in surprise due to Joohyun's loud voice.
"W-What?" Seulgi shot Joohyun a questioning look.
The older girl frowned, "I've been calling you a few times already, are you okay?" She took a step closer towards the younger. Joohyun too, couldn't help but feel that something about the girl was off lately, ever since she returned from retrieving something from her room the day they left the palace, she'd space out every now and then. In fact it wasn't only her, Seungwan, Sooyoung, and Yerim thought so too. "I said can you lead the way to the library now please?"
Seulgi blinked twice before shaking her head, "Y-Yeah, I'm okay. Sorry."
The latter grinned sheepishly before taking the lead, oblivious to the eldest valley and dorthorian furrowing their brows, both directing her a questioning and suspicious gaze.

"Looks like I don't need to make you invisible anymore." Yoongi glanced at Seulgi.
The girl chuckled lightly, "Yeah."
The group wanted to waste no time and take the book as soon as possible, so in contrast to the diverse students from different schools mingling with each other, the enchancians with the exception of the three daughters of the dark was swift to make their way towards the library, which was thankfully empty if you exclude the librarian.
Jimin immediately made his way to the front desk and gave the librarian a sweet smile, "Good morning miss, we were asked to tell you to come to the office of the principal, they said you were needed there."
"Oh, thank you for informing me, young boy." Of course the libraran was suspicious at first, as she took a brief look at Jimin because a lot of students already did the same stunt on her once just for their entertainment. So she didn't know why she obliged that fast, but there was just something about his eyes that somehow told her he was telling nothing but the truth.
She really thought that such innocent eyes wouldn't have the heart to sputter a lie, "Children, would you help this old lady out and watch the library for me in the meantime?"
"Of course miss." Jimin shot her one of his adorable eye smiles which triggered the librarian to chuckle before finally going out.
As soon as the door closed, the smile on his face quickly disappeared, followed by the soft mechanical click of the lock evading their ears thanks to Jungkook's metal manipulation.
"Alright let's not waste anymore time," Seulgi said. "Disperse."
They all separated in order to cover more ground so that they can find the book as soon as possible. RV went to the west wing, TXT on the east, while the princesses explored the center and lastly with BTS on the second floor.
"Seul?"
"Hm?" Seulgi turned her head towards the sound of Seungwan's voice, who was crouched behind one of the shelves, but what caught her eyes the most was the book that was in her possession.
Seungwan directed a grin at the girl older only by months and closed the book before holding it up, "Is this what you and Jennie meant?"
Seulgi furrowed her brows in confusion, but her indifferent expression was soon replaced by a smile. The girl started to let out a humorous laugh with her eyes disappearing when her orbs trailed down towards the title of the book clutched by her bestfriend's hands.
'Peter Pan'.
After a few more minutes, the three royalties perked up from the center-most part of the first floor upon the sound their maknae made, "It's here!"
They quickly gathered around where Lisa was and smiled in relief knowing that they finally got the thing they were looking for.
"This sure brings a lot of memories." Lisa murmured as she traced the books familiar leather cover and gold edges, the same way she did a few months ago.
The day her- or their rather- whole life, and world drastically changed.
Sure it does bring a lot of memories, both sad and happy, but looking back the four couldn't deny that it was probably the best adventure they've had in their whole lives. It's not like their lives were void of any happiness, but maybe it was just the fact that sometimes they still felt that something was missing, but that was exactly their world before they entered an entirely different one, the very same one that offered them answers, love, memories, and happiness. It gave them a new home.
They internally smiled at that thought, so with the book tightly clutched by their hands, they vowed to the Gods listening above that they will offer their blood, sweat, and maybe even tears in defending that new home.

uhh, this maybe very random but have any of you guys watched haikyuu? because I want to share my pain with someone.
I'm not that into animes and it's one of the firsts I've seen but I have played sports before so I can kinda relate to it in one way or another, and it was that good that this was me in one of the episodes = :'') I'll be waiting for a few more months or so for the next episode, but I know it'll be worth it (especially if I get to see more people get shocked by hinata and kageyama's quick attack lol)
Oh and I really think that we're all nearing the book's end, as sad as that may sound, so let's hang in there a little bit more guys
Unedited (as always)
Luv y'all
