I'm very very glad that even though we've only attended this school for a few days, things are going very well. It wasn't like those scenarios I've read in novels where newbies gets picked on by bullies.

But scratch that.

"Hi Chaeyoungie!"

"Hey Jung, what's up." I replied nonchalantly.

Yeah, it's none other than Melody Jung, the devil itself. Well maybe things did go a little bit complicated just because of this girl and her obsession with BTS.

I really hate childish people but I'm trying my best to keep my cool. I may be a royal but others still doesen't know about it yet, and I'm new here so I'll keep a low profile for the meantime and I'll also try my best to not attract attention by being related to this girl and her group. But who am I kidding? I'm already related to RV and TXT, one of the most famous groups in school, of course we'll get attention for being with them and talking with them.

It's currently Sunday and I'm just picking some materials up here in school for our project but I don't know what she's doing here.

"What brings you here?" She said in a sickeningly sweet tone, but a person must be deaf if it can't sense the sarcasm in her voice.

"Nothing, just went to get some stuff, you?" I closed my locker.

"Same purpose." She smiled. She pays attention to her grades?

"But then I realized I may be wasting my precious time, so before I leave, be a fella and remind your monkey- looking friend to stay away from Kook." Her face totally changed this time.

I clicked my toungue.

"Don't you dare call her that." I said in a low voice that it may be mistaken as a growl.

I saw that she was shocked and afraid for a second but she hid it well.

The school did recognize me for being sweet and gentle in a short time span but they really shouldn't push my buttons.

She just scoffed but it was a bit shaky, so I smirked. The devil gave me a glare before purposely brushing her shoulders against mine before walking away.

"Wow, you can be scary."

I heard a voice say but when I looked around the hallway I saw no one. Weird.

But then I was startled when a man suddenly revealed himself from a random corner. Out of too much shock I dropped the materials. I bent down to pick it up but was once again shocked when his fingers brushed on mine.

I felt my cheeks burning so to distract myself I hurriedly picked them all up and thanked him with my head hung low.

"Thank you Jimin-ssi." I muttered.

He scoffed before smiling. "I already told you, drop the formalities."

"You know you're cute when you blush." He smiled, his eyes smiling with his lips, just like Seulgi unnie.

I cleared my throat, do a lot of students often go here on the weekends?

"T-thank you Jimin." Really Chaeyoung?

He suddenly laughed, which didn't help my blushing state whatsoever. Even the way he laughs is so dreamy.

Wait, what?

"Chaeng!"

Thank you for saving me unnie.

"Irene unnie, Yeon, Kai, you guys are here too?" I was both shocked and thankful. Shocked because they're here too, thankful because I can escape this embarassing situation.

"Project." Irene unnie explained shortly.

"Ohh me too, can I go with you on the way home?" I asked while biting my lower lip, please agree.

"Sure noona." Kai smiled, thank goodness.

"You live nearby them?"

"Chim? You're here too? And you're here with Chaeng." I don't know about Jimin but me? I can totally detect the teasing in Irene unnie's tone. Just by the way she looked at me while grinning.

"Oh, I see what's happening." Yeonjun smirked too.

"Come on guys." I whined. They're supposed to be helping me, not make me blush more, ugh!

But I think I'm supposed to thank Jimin now.

"Was just helping a damsel in distress, anyways I'll get going see you guys tomorrow at class." He chuckled before leaving us.

"So-"

"Don't even think about it, let's go." I immediately cut Irene unnie off before fixing my stuff and walking towards the exit.

They just chuckled before following me in suit.

But as we were walking down the path towards the palace I noticed that something was a bit. . .off? Yeonjun and Irene unnie was awfully quiet throughout the whole journey, which was so out of character. Well at least for Yeonjun, the guy is noisy unlike Irene unnie, so this is really weird.

It's like they have a world of their own, it was like they were talking about something telepathically.

Something was a bit off with their eyes too, they look like they're worrying about something that we don't know. Could it be our about our project? Nah, they wouldn't worry about a project that much. Our secret? But nobody knows about it yet, we've kept it as a secret successfully so far. Then what?

I really can't help but ponder about what they might be thinking about. Other people may not sense it but we're not just other people, we're their close friends. So we can't help but notice. It's very much clear in their eyes.

I noticed that Kai was looking at them worriedly too.

"Uhh Kai? Can you help me carry these? You have a free hand." I said and handed him some of my materials even before he replied.

He was fazed for a second but still smiled afterwards. "Sure noona."

I held his hand signalling him to stop, he gave me a confused look but I ignored him and just let Yeonjun and Irene unnie take a head start. They didn't even notice us stopping. When there was enough space between us, enough that they wouldn't hear our conversation, I started to walk slowly again.

"Don't you notice anything. . .I don't know, weird?" I asked.

"Actually yeah, something smells fishy with these two, I mean I don't know if we're just overreacting but there is something weird by the way they act, they look like they are in deep thought." Kai said and I couldn't agree more.

The journey back home continued with us pondering for the possible cause of these two's silence.

After what seemed an eternity we finally reached home, as soon as the door opened I immediately plopped down on the couch.

"It's so unfair." We heard Yeonjun say.

All of us looked at him in confusion, our eyes also telling him to continue.

"It takes a whole week of suffering before we get to enjoy the weekends, yet it only takes two days of much needed rest before it's Monday all over again." He sighed dramatically. "Life is upside down."

I chuckled. "Preach."

Irene unnie scoffed. "Move along Yeonjun, we still have things to discuss hm?"

But there was something else in her tone, I just couldn't put my finger on it. Something like worry? My brows connected, so did Kai's.

"Yeah almost forgot about that." He smiled sheepishly.

"Nothing special guys just some school stuff and our projects, we'll join you later for dinner." Irene unnie said before heading upstairs.

"Sure unnie." Nope.

Once they left I turned to look at Kai.

"Yeah, I totally do not believe them." I said making Kai chuckle. Something's really off, and it's not making me comfortable at all. I need to talk to the others about this.

And speaking of others.

"Yo chipmunk!" Sooyoung unnie said very loudly, a little bit too loudly that I had to cover my ears a bit.

"Gosh unnie tone down your voice." I rubbed my poor ears.

"Oh come on Chaeyoung, you should be used to that already." Wendy unnie emerged from the staircase with a book on her hand while the others followed her in suit.

"Ugh, stupid project." Jennie and Yeri groaned while carrying their materials.

"I haven't even started with mine yet." Lisa pouted.

"Same." Jisoo unnie added lazily.

"Wow you guys are lazy." Beomgyu snickered. "Me and the boys already done ours." He grinned.

"Yeah, teamwork makes the dream work!" Taehyun and Soobin raised their hands cutely. We all gave them disgusted faces.

"Wow teamwork huh? How bout me and Yeonjun hyung?" Kai rolled his eyes.

"It's called revenge Min, that's for pulling that prank on us last time, you thought we wouldn't figure it out? That it was you and hyung? Think again." Soobin smirked.

They all settled in their own places in the palace's humongous living room. We decided that we'll help each other with our projects where we're supposed to make our very own map of the academy, our choice of materials.

And let me tell you, the academy is hella big.

But the longer I looked, I noticed that Seulgi unnie wasn't with us. Where is she?

"Hey where's Seulgi unnie?" I asked.

"She stayed upsatirs, she said she was gonna talk with Irene unnie and Yeonjun first." Lisa said. "And their topic? No we don't know."

She knew me too well, she knew I was gonna ask her that.

I sighed.

"Is something bothering you Chae?" Wendy unnie asked. Like I said earlier, we could sense each other's worries.

Kai and I glanced at each other. That little small action caused the others to furrow their brows.

"Something is definately up. Spill." Jisoo unnie shoved her materials aside. The others did too.

I sighed, how was I gonna explain this to them?

"I don't know about you guys but me and Kai can sense something weird by the way Irene unnie and Yeonjun acts, and it only started today." I explained.

"Noona's right, earlier a second wouldn't pass without them sharing a glance," Kai backed me up.

"That seems normal to me though." Yeri muttered.

"Believe it or not Yeonjun was quiet the whole journey from the academy to here." Kai added.

"Nevermind, yeah very weird." Yeri said.

"I noticed that with Seulgi unnie too." Lisa joined our conversation.

"And to think that the three of them aren't here with us now." Soobin said.

Our supposed to be group study slash project making was long forgotten now.

"Maybe they're just stressed? Considering school, your arrival, Leo is still missi-"

"Wait who's Leo?" Lisa asked.

"Leo? The missing foster child of your parents Lis, you don't kn-"

"Oh." She stopped when she realized something. Wendy and Sooyoung unnie, the boys were glaring at her too.

"You weren't supposed to know that yet." She said slowly and guiltily.

"Hol' up! I have a brother?!" Lisa exclaimed. "Just when things are supposed to be peaceful."

"Things aren't peaceful since you came here." Yeri facepalmed.

"I know! I mean, my standards for crazy already went up high when I arrived here, but you really can't blame me, us. We're literally from another dimension." She rubbed her temples.

"Send help." Yerim whispered.

"Yeah Yerim, find help as soon as possible because I might as well kick your ass, come here!" Wendy unnie got up and chased Yeri with her book.

"SOMEBODY HELP ME A WILD OLAF IS TRYING TO KILL ME WITH HER HARMLESS BOOK!" Yeri yelled.

We laughed at scene unfolding itself in front of us, it was just too funny, even Lis who was shocked a while ago was now rolling on the ground with Sooyoung unnie out of too much laughter.

Yeri running around with Wendy unnie chasing her with her book. Priceless I tell ya.

"What's going on here?" A voice asked and it wasn't from anyone who was currently in the room right now.

"Protect me." Yeri hid behind the person. "Seulgi unnie get a hold of that wild creature." Yeri shrieked.

"You only ever call me unnie when you need something." Seulgi unnie rolled her eyes with Irene unnie and Yeonjun chuckling behind her.

"What was happening before we got here? We heard yelling." Irene unnie asked.

"Yeri spilled the beans to the girls." Wendy unnie crossed her arms.

"What beans?" Seulgi unnie scanned the floor. What the heck?

"Dumb bear, she meant as in Yeri told the girls about our little secret, she told them about Leo." Sooyoung unnie snickered.

Seulgi unnie was about to hit Sooyoung unnie but when she heard the last part, her intentions were transfered to Yerim. Aw, poor squirtle.

"You what?"

"Save me Lord." Yeri muttered but she disappeared from Seulgi unnie's back and soon she was being chased, again.

"This group is a mess." I muttered. The remaining nodded in agreement.
