Cover and Summary- Let me first point out that both the cover and the summary are great! Those two things (including the title) are things I, personally, notice and look for first. The summary is very catchy and makes me want to read the book, and the fact that this is the first book of a series is even better! Nicely done! :)

Minor details- Throughout this story I noticed little to no grammar issues. A couple spelling errors but nothing that took your mind away from the plot. I'll be the first to admit my grammar and spelling are awful but too many mistakes can ruin the reader's enjoyment. The paragraph sizing was good, none too long or too short. The titles the author gave for each chapter are eye catching and clever. Unfortunately, I could not always be in a Wi-Fi area so I could not always see them, but the author has included photos and videos that go along with each chapter. That definitely shows the time and effort she put into this and it goes a long way.

Introduction-The way the prologue was done was very unique, I thought. Opening with the worldwide announcement and a character's reaction and thoughts to it. As a reader, I could definitely relate and I was already hooked, and the remainder of the story was just as amazing!

The Book- From chapter 1 to 21 there are tons of vivid descriptions of the main character's poor living conditions. I was automatically drawn into her life. It is clear the author put thought and energy into everything from the plot to the tiniest detail. I especially liked how the author called the currency they used, drips. The choice of words used and phrases really added to the entire book, as a whole it is extremely well written.

When the main character's family members are introduced, it is clear that she shares a unique personal relationship with each member. This makes it so real and it is easy for the reader to understand and to relate. Especially for her mother, to me that hit home. The way Magnolia (the main character) wanted nothing more than to provide and to take care of her mom, no matter the stakes.

There are so many exciting parts that just drag you into the plot. There are characters to despise, to cheer on and to cry with. There enough heartfelt moments to balance out the more serious times. Tons of cliffhangers and suspense that makes the reader beg for more. At one point in the latest chapters, I was literally hurting for Magnolia and- I can't say too much or I'll ruin it.

At the end of the book are extras, in which the author has gone into detail of the different levels where people live and even a playlist for the book. Again, it is clear that a lot of effort and thought has gone into this story and it truly shows.

In Conclusion- The author has some serious talent and I highly recommend adding this to your library, you will not regret it!

Thank you Octopus_Uprising for letting me review your book!

~Keep writing!
