Chapter 4
Now that Wildcat thought about it, she'd be the greatest addition to their gang, but that was only if she was willing to cooperate.
Though, Delirious was thinking the opposite thoughts. He thought that Alice would potentially destroy everything.
Alice, however, never actually considered that option and it wasn't an entirely bad idea.
"Can I suggest a trial run?"
"A trial run?" Moo repeated in confusion.
"I'll stay for about a month, lets say. If I like it and you guys accept me, I'll join. If I don't or I'm not wanted, I'll leave."
"Deal," Wildcat chimed in.
--
"Vanoss?"
Wildcat had driven the five of them back to the mansion. Alice and Moo were currently in the car together, so that Wildcat could explain the entire situation to Vanoss.
The gang leader came into the living room, dismissing everyone else.
"I just saw Delirious carrying Terroriser unconscious. What the hell happened?" Vanoss was a bit more concerned than angry.
"Well, we found out who she was and its not very good Evan." Vanoss waited for an explanation. "Her name's Alice Hunters, daughter of Richard Hunters, Chroma's old gang leader. We can't hurt her Evan, otherwise we'll be hunted down by a bunch of gangs."
"That doesn't explain the third unconscious body I've seen in the last two days," Vanoss was getting impatient.
"Well, we still went to see her in Vinewood. Its a bit embarrassing, but she was able to take the four of us down in less than a minute. Nothing I've ever seen before. So with her consent, Moo offered her a place here," Wildcat waited for the explosion but it never came.
Vanoss just stood there pacing and thinking. It did seem like a bad situation. The girl was a convincing manipulator and this could just be another way for her to get what she wants. But at the same time, she could be telling the truth and they'd have a huge advantage on their side.
"It's a good plan Tyler, but if we're doing this, she's going to need to be watched 24/7. Is she here now?"
Wildcat nodded and called Moo to bring her in to officially meet Vanoss.
The door opened and instead of the girl, Moo had come running in with a nervous smile.
A green eyed woman walked in and took a seat on one of the couches. Now that she wasn't a crying mess, Vanoss studied her.
"Wildcat explained the situation. After your little break in, I can't afford another screw up so you'll be accompanied at all times. Other than that, if you follow the rules and don't cause any more trouble, I'll consider actually letting you join." Vanoss was very blunt and straight forward with his rules, something that Alice liked.
"Done and done. Considering I'm staying here and that you already have eight people here, I'm guessing that there are no spare rooms."
That was a problem.
"Meeting!"
The first one to come down was Terroriser and he instantly ran back up the stairs after seeing Alice on the couch, leaving the black haired girl in fits of laughter.
Terroriser was forced down the stairs a few seconds later by Delirious, who seemed to have returned back to normal now. They were followed by Lui, MiniLadd, and Nogla.
They all took their seats somewhere around the room, not even trying to hide their stares at Alice.
"Alice Hunters, aka the daughter of Richard Hunters," Vanoss revealed her true identity. "Most of you won't agree to this, but you'll have to suck it up. She'll be staying here for a while and might prove as a valuable asset to the gang, but I've taken precautions so she'll always be supervised. I've already made the choice to let her stay, so either two of you guys have to room together or one of you have to room with her."
Like Vanoss and Alice expected, no one had offered their room to Alice or offered to stay with one of their friends.
Moo had known no one else would volunteer so he went to Vanoss and tapped his shoulder as everyone else argued about where Alice should stay.
"She already knows Delirious, so it wouldn't be that bad," Moo said. That was a complete lie. Even though Brock was a nice guy, it didn't mean he liked to be a bit troublesome at times.
"Settle down!" The entire room went silent. "She's staying in Delirious' room so Delirious go clean your stuff."
Jonathan was smart enough to go along with Evan's orders, but he continued muttering profanities as he left to clean his bedroom.
"Moo seems to be the most comfortable one with you, so he'll be taking you back home to get your stuff."
Alice jokingly saluted and left the room, feeling several judgmental pairs of eyes on her. She didn't exactly care, but it was just unsettling.
Someone had followed her outside and she huffed in annoyance. It was Lui wearing a monkey mask.
"The guys in there are betting how long I'll last out here with you. Most of them said less than a minute," Lui tried to start a conversation.
The annoyed girl smirked. "You wouldn't last ten seconds if I was actually trying to hurt you."
"I wouldn't doubt it."
"So what are the guys like? I'd ask myself, but I'm not particularly liked," she joked, though it wasn't really a lie.
Lui felt the tiniest shred of sympathy for Alice. He knew that it was best not to get attached though. "Moo and Nogla are the kindest, but you kind of pissed Nogla off for some reason. I'd look out for Vanoss, Delirious, and Wildcat. Don't piss them off. As for Terroriser, he's pretty laidback but he's been a bit jumpy since you got here."
Alice didn't bother saying anything else. Joining a gang where she wasn't liked didn't seem appealing at all. It was a bit dark and she slowly closed her eyes, seeing her father look down at her.
"Can you call Moo? I need my things," Lui nodded and ran inside, quickly just in case Alice tried to pull something.
Moo had appeared instead of Lui when the door had opened. "Called for a cab?" He was dressed regularly, except for the cabbie hat. "The trucks in the front."
She followed him to a neon pink truck at the front of the gate. There was nothing but surprises rolled up Moo's sleeves. They both got into the truck, Moo being in the driver's seat. He already knew where to go as soon as Alice told him her address.
"How's it going with the others?"
"How do you think? I've been there for like thirty minutes and it isn't difficult to tell that half of them hate me, can't really blame them." Alice paused and turned to Moo. "Why aren't you freaking out anyways? I did in fact paralyze you."
"That you did and let me tell you, it was amazing, it did wonders to my sore back."
At least she had one person to talk to, not that it mattered. If this continued, she sure as hell wasn't staying with them and if it didn't go well, she always had her back up plan of making her own gang.
Once they reached her house, Alice grabbed all the personal things she needed. She was keeping her house so that meant she'd be able to leave most of her things there. The only things she brought were a few toiletries, clothes, a few mugs, and her weapons.
Moo offered to carry her belongings to the truck, so she went ahead and cleaned out all the food in the kitchen, except for canned food, since she wasn't going to be home much.
"That's everything. Ready?" Alice confirmed, shutting the back of the truck and walking to the passenger seat.
When they arrived back at the mansion, it was deafening. There were shouts, screams, and random garbling in the background. Turns out they were playing video games so they barely noticed when Moo and Alice came in with four boxes.
After Moo had helped her bring the boxes which he repeatedly insisted, he left Alice to get herself comfortable. When Vanoss had told Delirious that he had to share his room, Alice was pretty sure that didn't mean cut it in half.
There was a piece of blue tape dividing the entire room in half. Delirious' half had clothes everywhere. Her half was neat at least and Delirious had left her a large empty dresser. She rushed through unpacking all of her clothes and toiletries into the dresser. Though, she took her time in setting down all of her priceless weapons in order, except for her dagger. Alice was planning on keeping that under her pillow.
Alice hated mess. It would be pointless and Delirious might not even like it, but she cleaned up the room entirely. The eight boys downstairs had been playing for hours, leaving Alice to wonder why she wasn't being babysit, not that she wanted to.
In the time the boys did their thing, she grabbed all of Delirious' clothes off the floor, washed them, folded them, put them away, and cleaned the other trash off the carpet floor.
Even by time she was finished, the boys weren't so she got ready for bed, skipping dinner and her usual training. She went to bed quickly even though it was her first time sleeping here and tried her best not to pass the tape line that also stretched across the bed.
