Chapter 3

Their task proved to be more difficult than they imagined. They had nothing on her, only a description and their description wasn't very specific either. When they saw her, her face was covered by her black hair so they didn't really see much of her facial features. They didn't even know the color of her eyes for fuck's sake.

"Its pointless." Terroriser shouted, dramatically falling to the floor. "We have nothing on her."

A quiet whistle caught the fours' attentions. They looked behind them to see a tall figure staring back at them.

"I was with the last gang you just talked to. I don't want any trouble," the stranger blurted out when they all pointed their guns at him. "I think I know who you guys were talking about."

Wildcat kept his gun aimed at him. "Why didn't you tell us back there?"

"The girl you speak of is well known and my gang was given orders not to say anything since she was the daughter of a close ally."

They let their guns rest at their sides, intrigued by the stranger's words.

"Let's talk somewhere else," Delirious said. The five of them walked to a secluded park, their handguns hidden in their waistbands. "Now talk. Why are you telling us this? "

"I used to know her. She's not what everybody thinks."

Moo chimed in. "What does everybody think?"

"They think she's a pawn, but they're wrong. She was the daughter of Richard Hunters, leader of Chroma." That immediately caught Delirious' attention. "People say she's unimportant, so after her father's death she was left alone. She's dangerous. Unlike most of us, she was born and raised in a gang. Scary bitch. She knows everything. You name it; hacking, fighting, lying."

"Where is she?" Delirious shouted. His three friends looked at him bewildered by his sudden outburst.

"Alice Hunters lives in Vinewood by herself. I'd watch out though. Her father was a very popular man. They liked him and his last wish was to keep his daughter safe. It wouldn't be surprising if more than three gangs showed up at your door if they heard she was dead."

That made their plan much more difficult. Even though they were the top gang, they knew Chroma. Chroma was the best of the best. They weren't feared. They were respected by everyone and they knew if they laid a hand on Alice, they'd be dead within a week.

"Thanks, now scram," Delirious ordered, laughing as the guy ran away.

"Well that's settled, we can't lay a hand on her," Moo stated.

"But-," Terroriser was about to say something, but Delirious cut him off.

"We can't hurt her, but that doesn't mean we can't talk right?" Delirious was silently pleading that Wildcat would agree.

"He's right. We need to know what happened and I'm not going back home until I get an answer."

--

In the corner of her laptop screen, Alice could see that it said 12:40. She was finally done. To take extra precautions, she handwrote the notes she took, loaded them onto her laptop, and also saved them to a different USB drive.

She also burned the drive with Vanoss' crew's information with her lighter, watching the plastic covering it drip into her fireplace and the metal turning a dark black.

Since it was already lunchtime, Alice took time in making a healthy sandwich. That was until she heard something upstairs. For precaution, she had grabbed a few throwing knives she kept hidden in her kitchen cabinets.

The green eyed girl could hear footsteps now and by the sound of it, there were more than three. As soon as she saw one of them at the foot of the stairs, she took action.

Alice knocked out the one closest to her by grabbing him by his hair and forcefully pounding it against the wooden stair railing.

Next, she threw her throwing knives at one of them, not killing the person just yet.

She jumped and grabbed the railing of the top staircase and used that to bring herself behind one of them and kicked his back, making him tumble down the flight of stairs.

By hitting him in the exact spots, Alice was able to paralyze the last one standing. In less than a minute, she had successfully taken down four men.

One stood paralyzed on the steps and one of them was unable to move due to the fact that Alice's throwing knives had pinned him to the wall. The other two were at the bottom of the stairs, one of them unconscious and the other one in pain. That left only two of them slightly functional.

She then recognized who they were and laughed. "I thought this would be more difficult seeing that you're part of a powerful gang."

It was Moo who was paralyzed, Terroriser who was unconscious, Wildcat who was pinned against the wall, and Delirious lying on the floor in pain from his fall.

"Since your friends are in no state to talk, why don't you tell me why you're here Wildcat?"

"We weren't here to hurt you, princess." Wildcat scowled. "We were here to find out why you invaded our house yesterday."

"Why would I ever tell you that?" Alice asked.

Wildcat smiled at her.

"Because of me," she felt someone behind her, a knife pressing against her neck.

Alice laughed. "I'm impressed. Don't look down though."

Delirious did and saw that she was holding another throwing knife against his stomach.

Since he was distracted by the weapon against him, Alice took the moment to turn around and grab his wrist, twisting it behind his back. She pinned it behind him with her throwing knife and grabbed Delirious' knife.

Alice grabbed his free hand and held it down with her own, using her other hand to take off his hockey mask.

"Jonathan?"

Wildcat stared at the two in confusion. Delirious had definitely forgot to mention that he knew Alice.

Alice immediately dropped the mask, let go of his wrist, and pulled her throwing knife off of his blue jacket. After that, she ran up the stairs and let Wildcat free. Then she punched Moo directly in the middle of his chest, allowing him to move again.
The raven haired girl then grabbed Terroriser off the floor and onto her couch.

"Sit," Alice said pointing to the couch Terroriser wasn't laying down in. She sat down on the carpet floor a few feet away from them.

As Wildcat eyed the green eyed woman in fear, Delirious stared at Alice.

"You were supposed to leave Los Santos," Delirious said.

"You would've known if I had left or not if you actually stayed,"Alice replied calmly.

Wildcat interrupted. "Before you guys say anything else, mind telling us how you two know each other?"

Delirious stayed quiet and kept his head down, leaving Alice to explain.

"I'm assuming you know who I am by now." Moo and Wildcat nodded. "Well, your friend here was a part of Chroma and a close friend of mine, but he left when the gang needed him most."

"Then why didn't you kill him just now?" Moo asked, earning a warning look from Delirious.

"Because a gang is a family. Even though Chroma is no longer here, I still consider Jonathan my family," Alice said nonchalantly.

"Stop with that shit." Delirious looked ready to kill. "That was your dad's bullcrap and I don't want to hear it from you too."

Wildcat and Moo had just decided that putting someone as crazy as Delirious near someone as dangerous as Alice wasn't going to end well. As Moo opened his mouth to say something, Alice shot him a pointed look that quickly shut him up.

"If I recall, you used to say that too. I also specifically heard you say that you'd stay with your family as long as you lived, but I guess the people who raised you since you were eight weren't important enough to stay for," that shut Delirious up.

"Now tell me. You know that you'd be dead as soon as you killed me and I'm pretty sure you weren't really expecting me to actually tell you what I did," Alice said to Moo.

Without discussing it with any of his fellow gang members, Moo stated a very serious offer. "If you're willing, we could use an extra hand in our gang."
