Chapter 9 part 1-The Date
Maya POV
After the last period ...
I can't believe I agreed to go on a date with Nick ...like what happened to the original plan.Well its to late to back out now .I start walking to the parking lot . I saw Nick leaning against his car . Once he sees me he walks toward me.
"Hey Maya here's my number text me the address to your house so I can pick you up" he said then he turns and walks away leaving me speechless .

I walk to Taylor's car get in the passengers seat while Taylor climbs into the drivers seat.
"Hey" Taylor says while driving
"Hi" I reply
"A birdie told me your going out with the schools new hottie " Taylor say squealing
"So?"I say
"So what are you wearing!!!?? Do you need my help?"
"No I'm good" I say in crisp firm voice getting irritated at the conversation
"Okay okay" Taylor says as she pouts then she turns the music up a silence continues throughout the whole ride .
After the ride
Once I get home I run up the stairs leading to my room and collapse on my bed .I know no ones home yet because its quiets which is quite rare in this family .I slowly get up and text nick my address and he texts back I'll pick you up at 7 ;).

I remove all my clothes and walk into the bathroom and take a hot shower . Once I'm done I wrapped a towel around me and enter my room to lay out a outfit . I choose light blue jeans and a white blouse with some white strappy sandals.

I remove my towel and put on my panties and bra and just as I'm about to start doing my make up and hair my twin brother barge in .
"Alex!Daniel what are you doing in here " I scream at them
Alex and Daniel are my younger brothers.they are five year old twins who always like to fight they both have brown hair like me but have clear blue eyes like my mom.
"Sorry Maya" they both say in unsion
"Its ok "I say giving them a kiss on a cheek
"Love you "Daniel says
"Love you " Alex says as both him and Daniel leave my room.

I sigh and turn back to the mirror . I put on clear lipstick deciding to go with a mor natural look. Then a take my brown hair and brush it leaving it straight.I glance at my clock and see 6:55 only give minutes till he gets here .I hurriedly put on my outfit and skip down the stairs just as the doorbell rings.

I open the door to see Nick and he looks so handsome I almost drool .He's wearing a buttoned down shirt with the two buttons not bottened revealing the beginning of his pecks with dark slacks with matching black Nike's .

"Are you checking me out ?" He says while smirking
"No" I say embrassed that I got caught , he lifts my chin making me look him in the eye
"You look beautiful " he whispers
"Thanks " I say
We walk towards his car and he opens the door for me and I get in. Once he gets in he looks at me
And says "ready to go" I nod and with that he starts to drive .
