Gracie screamed into her pillow. She was so embarrassed, she wished the floor would open up and swallow her whole. She was always easily embarrassed and slipping up that it was fun talking to him painted a crimson red on her cheeks and neck.

Feeling disappointed when another conversation with Gracie came to an end, he realized something. He might have feelings for her.

As she was staring at her ceiling fan, she came to the same realization. Gracie had a crush on Cory fucking Walker. She'd never had a crush before, but every time she saw his contact name flash across her screen, she would feel butterflies being released in the pit of her stomach.

Every time they stopped talking for the night, she found herself looking forward to the morning.

Now she knew what a crush felt like.
