Freya followed Steve, Tony and Natasha, the latter two who she had just met. She followed them to a helicarrier and was introduced to Bruce Banner, Maria Hill and to Nick Furry.

Her green eyes looked at a screen that showed Loki being locked away in a glass box. She blinked as she looked at the horrible image, her mind wondering how she ended up here with her brothers. The asgardian royal family had never been perfect, she knew that but that didn't keep her from pretending it was.

"He really grows on you doesn't he?" Bruce looked up from the screen and around the room, the two asgardians present in the room deciding to ignore the comment as they knew it wouldn't be the last.

"Loki is going to drag this out." Steve looked at the floor before looking at the others in the room, before settling on Thor "So, Thor what's his play."

"He has an army called the chitauri. They are not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people, they will win him the Earth and in return we suspect for the Tesseract."

"An army from outer space?" Steve looked doubtful at Thor and Freya recalled her encounter with them over the years "Yes, an army. They are very skilled warriors." She crossed her arms to keep her from picking at her left hand. "So he's building another portal." Bruce took off his glasses and messed with one of the legs. "That is what he needs Erik Selvig for." Thor and Freya shared a look before Thor asked unsure "Erik Selvig?"
"Yes, he's an astrophysicist."
Freya smiled a little at the thought of the man, they hadn't known each other for long but in the time that she knew him he seemed like a good man "He's a friend."

"Loki has got him under some kind of spell," The red head looked away before finishing her sentence and it was obvious that the other person who was involved was held dear by Natasha "Along with one of our own." Freya nodded slowly as she processed the information. It seemed to be mind control but before she could talk, Steve interrupted her.

"I wonder why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here."

"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a sack filled with cats, you can practically smell the crazy off of him."

This time both siblings spoke up "Have care of how you speak." Thor continued "Loki may be beyond reason but he is still of Asgard and he is our brother." He took Freya's small hand in his own "And do not underestimate him. He is the God of Mischief."

Natasha looked at them a bored expression on her face "He killed 80 people in two days."

Thor shook his head along with his shoulder before quickly finding a reason "He's adopted." Freya glared at him before turning to look at the others. She hung her head but nodded a little.

Bruce decided to change the subject "I think it's about the mechanics. Iridium. What do they need the Iridium?" Freya shrugged as the man's eyes landed on her, as if seeking answers.

"It's a stabilising, agent. To keep the love alive. Means the portal won't collapse on it's own like it did at S.H.I.E.L.D." Tony walked in and quickly made use of the attention that was focused on him. "No hard feelings, Point Break. You've got a mean swing." He clapped a confused Thor on the shoulder before continuing " Also, it means the portal can open as wide, and stay open as long, as Loki wants."

Tony turned to the crew of the helicarrier "Uh, raise the mid-mast, ship the top sails. That man is playing GALAGA.Thought we wouldn't notice. But we did." He covered his eyes before looking again, leaving a very confused Thor, Freya and Steve to wonder what the hell GALAGA was.

Tony looked down at the holograms before covering his left eye "How does Furry do this?" Maria answered with a tone that could not possibly sound any more bored "He turns.". "Must be exhausting." Tony placed something under the hologram computer What are you doing? Tony looked at Freya surprised before his expression turned to an amused one "Nice thing you got going on there, Cupid. The whole telepathy and empathy powers. Keep it up." Freya frowned at his reaction but even more at the nickname she was awarded "What is a Cupid?" However her question was left unanswered.

"The rest of the raw materials, Agent Barton can get his hands on pretty easily. Only major component he still needs is a power source. A high energy density, something to kick start the cube."

"When did you become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics?" Maria looked at Tony who only looked back "Last night. The packet, Selvig's notes, the Extraction Theory papers. Am I the only one who did the reading?" He looked around to see the response of the others, who merely stared back or avoided his gaze.

"Does Loki need any particular kind of power source?"

"He's got to heat the cube to a hundred and twenty million Kelvin just to break through the Coulomb barrier."
"Unless, Selvig has figured out how to stabilise the quantum tunneling effect."
"Well, if he could do that he could achieve Heavy Ion Fusion at any reactor on the planet."
"Finally, someone who speaks English."

"Is that what just happened?" Steve looked just as confused as the other people in the room. The two men of science making no sense to those around them.

"It's good to meet you, Dr. Banner. Your work on anti-electron collisions is unparalleled. And I'm a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage monster." Tony shook Bruce's hand who seemed to want to sink into the floor and die "Thanks."

Furry walked in and made sure to crush Tony's dreams of seeing the enormous green rage monster with his own two eyes. "Dr. Banner is only here to track the cube. I was hoping you might join him."

"Let's start with that stick of his. It may be magical, but it works an awful lot like a HYDRA weapon." Steve looked around again as if asking if anyone held the answers he was looking for.

"I don't know about that, but it is powered by the cube. And I'd like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I know into his personal flying monkeys." Furry looked annoyed at the blonde asgardian who interrupted him
"Monkeys? I do not understand." Thor frowned as he did his best to think of what it might mean.

"I do! I understood that reference." Steve beamed as he looked proudly before glancing at Freya who looked down. She recalled the time Bucky had taken her and Steve to watch The wizard of Oz. There was a brief moment where he had apologised for bringing Steve along but she had waved him off, assuring him she didn't mind and that she loved Steve.

"Shall we play, doctor?" Tony ignored the small trip down memory lane "Let's play some."

As they left the room, Freya walked towards Furry "I wish to speak to my brother." The man looked down at her and was about to cut her off but Freya looked up at him with an innocent face. With a sight he showed her the way.

"Oh hello dear sister. Tell me how satisfying must it be too see me here." Loki held his hand behind his back as he walked up to the glass wall between him and Freya. Her forest green eyes met his emerald ones. "You know very well that it brings me no joy to see you in this state." Loki kept quiet as he looked at her.

She sighed and and took out a small leather bound book from a hidden pocket between her black skirt and her black corset. She walked closer to the glass "I just wanted to give you this. I know you loved this book." She crouched down and laid the book in the glass drawer. Loki looked down at the book suspiciously before picking it up. The old worn brown leather was soft to his touch.

The three dragons.

Loki's eyes snapped up to look at Freya. The woman smiled lightly "Truthfully I do not know why I brought it with me. It just seemed to be calling out to me when I was preparing to leave. I thought that maybe you might want to have it."

Teenage Thor and Freya rode on their horses in a slow tempo over the hill. A pre teen Loki riding his own smaller horse next to them.

Freya and Thor got off their horses before Freya went to help Loki off of his horse while Thor took the basket from his horse's saddle and placed it on the floor.

"Can you read the three dragons please?" Loki's big green eyes looked up at his two older siblings, silently begging them too. Thor laughed softly before crouching down to meet Loki's eyes "I would gladly but we do not have the book with us." "Yes we do." Loki quickly took the book out of his pocket and held it out to Freya and Thor proudly.

"Loki." Said boy looked at his sister who smiled at him "When father allows me too choose my crest I could choose three dragons." Loki wrapped his arms around her tightly "Please do."

Skadi's hand trailed over her crest. Two shadow horses around a snow flake. She took the necklace and put it on before walking out of her room. She walked through many corridors as she made her way to the living room.

Once she entered the room she saw La-Kloff looking at a hologram of a ship. "What is that?" Skadi walked closer as she examined the space ship carefully. La-Kloff's purple eyes glanced at her before twinkling with amusement as she looked back at the ship "This is your way directly to Niffleheim." Skadi's brown eyes looked at the taller woman in question "What? How?"

"You have been to cut off in Asgard." La-Kloff turned off the hologram as she walked over to the couch before sitting down "We have designed a ship that could withstand even the cold of Niffleheim." Skadi smiled, this meant that she didn't have to go to Musspleheim to get a special portal. "Have I ever mentioned that I love the Kree empire?" Skadi sat on the couch as La-Kloff made a swiping motion with her hand and turned on her tv "Wouldn't hurt too say it more often."
