The Deathless
The black captain was no longer recognizable is his costume. The hat that looked suspiciously like the skull of another creature but hid his face almost completely and the cloak masked any features that would have identified him as human. Though their also were a pair of clawed gloves to go with.
Morgana walked into the bay where he was waiting and raised an eyebrow.
"What?" He asked sounding annoyed.
"Did you leave your blaster in your room?"
"No."
Her eyebrow raised higher "really?" She sounded skeptical.
He sighed "fine, I'll go get it," he grumbled and rustled back towards his room.
"Thank you sir," Morgana called.
When he returned several others in similar outfits were waiting in the bay.
"Three minutes till landing," Morgana called out and headed towards a panel near the door. Their descent was obvious a moment later as the entire began to tremor.
As the tremors increased in intensity the captain lowered into a crouch to keep his balance and others followed. Morgana simply stood where she was, one hand barely holding onto a stability bar and the other resting on the control panlle.
"One minute till landing," she shouted to the costumed squad and they each gave a sign of aknowlagement.
The ship landed with a rattling thud a minute later, knocking several people over or off balance.
"Departure in 3, 2, 1, go!" Morganas hand slapped against a button on the panel and the bay doors opened with a swift shink. The costumed people flooded out of the doors and instantly headed for the shadows.
Morgana hit the button to close the door and unhooked a blaster from the wall.
"David," she called.
"Yes mam?"
"Go see if the technicians are alright and then see if they can fix the bucket up a little while we wait. Everyone else grab a gun."
They complied with her orders and were soon positions around the ship, ready to defend at any moment.

Keriteecan was still laughing as Fay pelted him with a ball of soft ice, causing him to stumble and scramble to return fire.
They were in one of the large meeting halls where it was showcasing the weather from another planet called 'snow'.
Sevral other children had been there earlier on but their parents had quietly(some not as much) left and or moved to another hall. Keriteecan didn't mind though, he got the same reaction from most inhabitants here. He was also to busy having fun to care.
It was quite an amusing scene honestly. Fay would kick up a spray of ice as they ran around and skidded to stops. While Keriteecan just kind of flopped around, trying to dodge the many snowballs that Fay sent his way.
But then the alarms sounded.
Keriteecan looked up in surprise as Fays feathers stood on end and they dove for their friend. Scooping the child up they darted towards one of the lower doors.

The captain moved slowly away from the bloody lump on the floor and let out a gentle hiss through gritted teeth.
"Does anyone else care to make a move?" He growled "because I have no problem with adding a few more kills to my count."
All of the species in the room held carefully still.
"Good children," he moved over to a panel on the wall and began to type in a code with a clawed glove that was now covered in blood.
