Projectionist's light flickered before getting brighter, nearly blinding the group. Storm turned and buried her head in Bendy's chest so she didn't go blind while everyone else covered their eyes. He was using that blinding light to distract the group, and it was working out in his favor, not theirs.
"Look what the cat dragged in!" He laughed. "Rug rats!"
"NORMAN! What are you doing here!?" The Projectionist laughed again.
"Oh don't worry, Ben, I'm not gonna hurt you yet!"
"... What do you mean yet?" Projectionist chuckled and approached them, his footsteps echoing with each step he took towards them. "Norman, what do you mean yet!?"
"Don't worry about it." Storm slowly backed up as Projectionist got closer to the group before tucking herself behind Bendy, who snarled at him.
"BACK OFF!" He shouted. "You guys get her out of here."
"Ben, I'm not leaving you...!"
"Come on, Sky..." Allison gently took Storm out of the room, and everyone else followed the two of them. "He's gonna be okay." Bendy set his eyes on Projectionist, seething in anger. The Projectionist towered over him, that was until Bendy remembered who he was. He was still the Ink Demon deep inside, but he didn't want to lose control of himself to that... Monster and hurt the people he truly cared about. He really didn't want to hurt Storm, most of all. He knew he had no other choice but to try if he was gonna stop the Projectionist from hurting anyone else.
"What are you gonna do, hm? You're weak, Ben. You're not the demon you once were. Henry, Storm, they made you weak." The Projectionist went to grab Bendy's wrist only to be thrown into the wall behind him. Bendy's eyes were now covered in ink and he was growing taller, slowly turning back into the Ink Demon, the scariest thing the studio once knew. "What... Impossible! Joey said you shouldn't still be able to-" Projectionist was cut off by Ben- No, by the Ink Demon grabbing a hold of his throat.
"I'm still the same demon I was before." Projectionist struggled in his grip. "Are you scared, Norman? Well you should be." The Ink Demon went to tear his head off but Projectionist got out of his grip and tackled him, bringing him onto the floor. He stood on his throat and held it there until he was pushed off. It was then that the real fight between them began.
Meanwhile, Joey and Alice were in a predicament of their own. Sammy and William were working together to take them on and to save Vincent, something they hadn't accounted for. Their entire plan was falling apart because of one oversight. The one oversight they knew they should've thought about beforehand.
"Joey- ACK-" Alice had to tuck and weave to avoid getting hit by Sammy's axe while Joey avoided William's knife. "We should've thought about Sammy tagging along. Even if it was only for his kid's sake."
"No kidding, Susie." Alice became distracted by Sammy's use of her old name, allowing him to finally get a hit in with his axe.
"! Alice!" The ordeal caused Joey to get distracted as well, and William cut him in his right leg. "GAH! Dammit!"
"Joey!" Alice grabbed the axe by the handle before Sammy could hit again and pulled it from his grip before dropping it and running to Joey, who had done the same with William's knife. "Fine! Take him! We'll be back." With that, Joey and Alice were gone, leaving them to take Vincent back to the studio's entrance and back home.
The Ink Demon and Projectionist were evenly matched this time. It was almost like Projectionist was preparing for the day that his head was ripped off again and made sure that it wouldn't be. Bendy was struggling to control his own actions and not fall back into his old habits, the ones he had from before he was saved by Henry when he broke and ended Loop 413. From before he met the girl he loved, the one like him in the sense that she was unable to age past 15. He didn't want to hurt her in this state. But slowly he was losing a grip on reality again. Projectionist, on the other hand, was trying not to die. Again. He was badly beaten, but it was becoming worse the longer Ben was in his Ink Demon form. He noticed his ability to speak was slowly going away, and that he was starting to rely on his hearing again. He had to put a stop to it, one way or another. So he did the one thing he could think of that would work. He yanked Storm into the room by her hair and threw her at him, using her as a sacrifice to the Ink Demon she loved.
