Last time

*Kushina didn't know what to do, or even how to react, how do you react when your son's mind state is almost villain like? So she only hugged him. Naruto not seeing anything wrong he hugged back not noticing Kushina silently letting tears fall,

Now

*It's been a quiet 3 days, the bridge was almost complete thanks to all the clones, things overall were looking good*

With Naruto

*We see him resting against a tree just enjoying the breeze, he moved his head just in time to dodge a kunai being stabbed where his head was. Naruto opened his eyes and looked at his sister slightly annoyed*

Naruto:can't even let me rest my eyes for a few?

Anko:what's the point? Your not going to sleep until those pills had passed out of your system

*Anko said with a cheeky grinned while she placed another ice pack on her left eye, she winced slightly making Naruto grinned*

Naruto:told yah to go slower on the poor girl, but did you listen? No of course not because big smart anko knows what she's doing

*Naruto said snickering remembering how anko got that eye, and again dodging another kunai from his sadistic sister, this time she manages to cut his cheek*

Anko:that's worth 3 points right there!

Flashback

*It was early morning, everyone was having breakfast, well almost everyone. Inari was eating in his room terrified since the real Naruto was down there eating with his team, anko was eating dangos and Hinata?

Hinata:argh.....

*She was busy trying to keep her breakfast down after anko gut kicked her in to a tree cracking it, anko laughed since in the end she couldn't hold it down*

Kushina: isn't she being too harsh on the poor girl?

*Kushina said seeing the whole thing happen while drinking her tea, Naruto just hummed by instinct he touched his belly rubbing it in pain*

Naruto:i mean it's no different then when I asked her to teach me hand to hand combat, she'll be fine....ish

*Kushina's eye twitch still having a bit of a murderous instinct she had when he killed the sword guy*

Kushina:she....did this to you?

*Naruto noticing what's going on, he could easily tell what was his mother's train of though and grew an evil smirk on his face, as he gave a fake sniffle*

Naruto:oh yes, one time she made me fight her even though my bones were broken it was just horrible

*When Naruto pulled the fake tear from his back pocket that's what did it, Kushina slammed her cup on the table breaking it and started walking to anko that was too distracted with her new toy to see her coming. Haku chuckled softly cuddling close on Naruto's shoulder*

Haku:Kami your evil, it really does something to me~

*Haku whispered softly to his ear, Naruto shivered when Haku liked him behind the ear just in time to see Kushina punching anko right in the eye in to orbit*

Present

Naruto: Kami i never thought i would say these words but i can't wait to be back in konoha

*Naruto muttered to himself ignoring his sister licking his blood of the kunai*

Naruto:still it was a rare treat hearing you scream like a little girl

Anko:do you want me to stab this kunai on your chest because I'll do it and we both know that I'm not playing around you little shit

Naruto:alright alright I'll be quiet, don't want to hurt little anko's widdle fweelings

*Naruto said in a teasing tone as he ran away from his sister chasing him throwing snakes at him*

Anko:where you going huh?! Take your punishment like a man!!

Naruto: transformation jutsu!

*Naruto screamed as he was covered in smoke when the smoke cleared up, tazuna who looked grabbed his chest feeling as if he was gonna have a heart attack Seeing what Naruto did*

*Naruto did a sexy pose bitting her finger*

Natsumi:b...but I'm not a man Ane-san I'm just a defens....

*Anko punched Naruto in the face breaking his concentration and breaking the jutsu sending naruto to the tree*

Anko:you forget that these hands are unisex you little shit!

Kushina:hey guys I thought I would bring you somethinf to.... drink....

*Kushina looked at a groaning Naruto on the floor, then at anko's still smoking hand, then back to Naruto, now at anko's face that was quickly becoming more and more scared. Anko placed her hands in front of her trying to stop Kushina from coming close to her*

Anko:k.. Kushina now before you do anything that you might regret....

*Anko flinched as she felt a hand on her shoulder, her head trembling she slowly moved it around and saw a smiling Kushina there, she snapped her head forward and that Kushina disappeared in to smoke*

Kushina:you don't seem to learn do you my little snake egg?

*Before Kushina could explain she was blasting off again becoming nothing more then a twinkle in the sky. Kushina huffed and ran to Naruto who was getting up*

Kushina:Naruto are you ok?!

Naruto:never better, you didn't have to do that you know we were just playing around

*Kushina looked at the tree that fell behind them and them back at Naruto with a raised eyebrow, Naruto for his part just shrugged making a couple more water clones that grabbed the now log and started cutting it for the bridge*

Naruto:i have the kyuubi inside me remember? Whatever injury I have his chakra will heal me

*Kushina expression changed to a frowned as she crossed her arms*

Kushina:Naruto, while I don't agree with your father wanting to reseal the Kyu....

Naruto:he prefers to go by yin, well at least I think he does since he refuses to tell me his real name

Kushina:right, Naruto yin is very dangerous, if you mix your chakra with his

Naruto:it will make me all the more powerful

Kushina:no you will get addicted, I know from personal experience how it feels when you use him. You can't tell me you don't get the withdrawals when you go a few days without using his chakra

Naruto:small sacrifice to make for his power mother, the speed, the healing

*Naruto's armw was covered in orange chakra as he punched a tree exploding it's the impact had so much force that the surrounding trees fell down with there roots out of the ground*

Naruto:the power, the undeniable power...why would I ever give all this up?

Kushina:I'm not asking that, I'm just asking that you let me help you not rely on it so much please....

*Kushina said softly holding his hands, Naruto sighed but reluctantly nodded*

Naruto:i guess... I guess I do owe you for saving me from jinpachi

*Kushina squeeled happily but then something caught her by surprise, Naruto collapsed in her arms*

Kushina:Naruto?!

*Kushina asked scared shaking Naruto trying to wake him up, but Naruto still was unconscious. Kushina looked at the sky the sun was gone, the day was gone  and Naruto's pills finally burned off, all his clones disappeared as Naruto was stuck in a coma for 3 days  and 3 nights*

Tazuna:where did all my help go?

*Tazuna yelled calmly as he walked to Kushina and Naruto to see what happened, Kushina looked at the old drunk and gave him a sympathetic smile*

Kushina:sorry but his time limit is over, he won't be able to wake up for 3 days and 3 nights

Tazuna:well he helped enough anyhow, shame too I wanted him to see it

Kushina:see what?

*Tazuna pointed back of him, Kushina looked and her eyes widen in slight surprise*

*The bridge was finished, well 98% finished tazuna still needed to do a few odds and ends*

Tazuna:may I give you the great Naruto bridge, when he wakes up telling him thanks for me. Without him the dreams of this old man would've been just that a dream but now...I have hope for my small village

*Kushina smiled as she looked down at his resting child and kissed his forehead as in the background tazuna was walking to have a drink of celebration and to gloat to every single person who abandoned the project.*

Meanwhile with Haku

*Gato was throwing a fit his office was a mess everything was broken and anyone who would walk in on him would meet his end*

Gato:that fucking bridge I'll just have to blow it up!!

*Gato scream not noticing the shadow behind him. Haku took out a thin but deadly wire and in one swift motion he wrapped gato's neck and pulled so hard that gato's head was separated from his body. Haku looked down at the dead men*

Haku; I hope you'll be able to live with this tazuna

*Haku said as he jumped out the window to return to her family*

With kushina

Kushina kneeled down and kissed Naruto's forehead with a soft smile*

Kushina:I'm so proud of you my son....

*Kushina hugged him tightly she crawled slowly and rested Against the tree, she was holding Naruto like a baby as she slept with him*

Prologue

*we see Konoha in chaos, the kyuubi was just sealed back up in there new vessel, the person who released it was killed and now it was just a matter of rebuilding*

Hokage tower

*Minato took a deep breath as he crashed on his chair, he moved his head and frowned slightly seeing a photo he kept on there*

*Minato grabbed the picture framed and looked at his genin team, more specifically at Obito or how he called himself Madara Uchiha*

Minato:all this chaos and for what Obito?

*Minato muttered with sadness behind his tone as now he's a sensei who outlived two of his genin something that no sensei ever wants to experience. Minato just sighed again opening a drawer and placing the picture there, he closed it not wanting to see a memory or his failures*

jiraiya:man it's a mess out there

*Jiraiya said, Minato got a small sense of amusement hearing his teacher use the window instead of the door, he could almost hear hiruzen screaming at a younger Jiraiya for doing that. Jiraiya sat down putting his feet on the table, he looked at his student showing genuine concern*

Jiraiya:how are you holding up?

Minato:how I'm holding up? How am I holding up... Look outside Jiraiya that's my mental state right about now. My village just suffered a horrific attack, the death has reached over 500 and still rising as more bodies are found. I had to see mebuki and her husband die in order to protect there new born daughter. Konoha is still on fire and I can hear the screaming match the civilians and Shinobi councils will have tomorrow when this all settles, oh and let's not forget that the person responsible for this massacre was my very own student that I had to kill!

*Minato screamed and then covered his face with his hands, small tears of frustration falling from his face still not being able to fully accept that the knuckle headed genin he trained could cause this much destruction. Jiraiya sighed and patted Minato's back*

Jiraiya:the good news is that he's dead whatever his goals were they won't materialize, one of the death was mebuki, and don't you start you know as well as i do that she was becoming corrupt, her friendship with Kushina means nothing

*Minato sighed and nodded hating when his master was right, and then Jiraiya grinned*

Jiraiya:and finally proof that those tips I gave you for that honeymoon of yours worked not 1 but 2 kids? God I'm good

*Jiraiya said in a smug tone rubbing his chin, Minato rolled his eyes with a small smirk*

Minato:actually I tried those moves she hated them and swore me to never use them

*Jiraiya felt as if a huge rock was throwned on his back so he just sat back down and sighed rubbing his back*

Jiraiya:named them yet?

Minato:yeah, Minato and menma you should see them, they even got fuzzy hair on there head Naruto is a blond like his old man's and menma has black hair like my father, heh safe to say that I'm gonna be my boys favorite

*Now it was Minato's turn to be smug, he had his eyes close so he missed Jiraiya's smile faltering*

Jiraiya:so which one has the 9 tails?

Minato:we decided to give it to menma

Jiraiya:why not split it in half?

*Minato looked at Jiraiya confused as if he grew a second head*

Minato:because why would we do that? Kushina was given the full kyuubi at birth, so was her mother, her grandmother, and so on and so forth. The Uzumaki blood has the strength to seal the kyuubi up fully with the correct sealing jutsu. Splitting the kyuubi in half isn't just reckless and dangerous but...just dumb when you really think about it

Jiraiya:yeah....Minato we need to talk, the...the toads just gave me a prophesy, it involves menma

*Minato's smile completely disappeared, it was as if he took of Tobi's mask off all over again*

Minato:what are you talking about? How could there be a prophesy about my child he was just Born

*Minato said not in an angry tone but a cold one missing all emotion. Jiraiya just shrugged having more time to get acquaintance with the news the toads gave him*

Jiraiya:it was gonna be made the second you placed the kyuubi to anyone, you gave it to menma so his destiny is set in stone now

*Minato didn't know how to take this news so he did what his brain thought best to protect him, he entered his Hokage mode, holding his hands together in a serious expression on his face*

Minato:what is this prophesy you speak off

Jiraiya:the toads told me I would train "a great apprentice and that apprentice would either bring great peace or great destruction to the world, this child will have a great power inside him a power like no other" having the kyuubi inside him can't think of a more powerful power then that

*Minato nodded thinking of what that means for his son, but his gut punch wasn't over since Jiraiya wasn't gonna give him time to breath*

Jiraiya:Minato, we need to place our complete and total attention to menma if he's to save the world nothing can be more important then him....which... which is why Naruto should be placed in a orphanage outside of Konoha

*The window in the Hokage tower broke from all the chakra pressure Minato released, his face showing no expression but his eyes told him everything Jiraiya needed to know*

Jiraiya: Minato, i don't say this to be cruel. I say this for the good of Naruto, think about it with all the attention we have to give menma, how do you think Naruto would respond to such a thing? And don't give me any crap that we can train both of them you know we can't, all or attention need to be on menma. Tell me does that sound fair to Naruto? that the boy was born with the misfortune of being the brother of the child of destiny?

*Minato calmed down and looked at his desk, his Hokage side was telling him Jiraiya was right, his Shinobi side was telling him Jiraiya was right, his analytical mind was telling him Jiraiya was right, Naruto deserves better then to just be forgotten by his parents*

Minato:what about Kushina? No matter what you say you won't be able to convince her, family is the most important thing to a Uzumaki

Jiraiya:I already came up with something. But if she finds out, if she realize what we did....I'll be honest with you Minato she'll divorce you, I don't see any way she could ever forgive you, I'm begging you to think over about this. I told you all of this because I want you to decide what to do I told you my idea it's up do you if we'll do it

*Sadly for Minato, his mind was still in Hokage mode, the decision was made before his newly form father side of him could even interject*

Minato:you said he could bring peace or destruction, there's not another option this is the only option. We're Shinobi we have to live with our choice even if there heartbreaking now what is it?

*Jiraiya nodded and took out a scroll putting it on the table, he opened it and read it, his eyes widen slightly*

Jiraiya:the second isn't the only one able to create forbidden type jutsu but after we do this I'm burning this scroll since this is something on the level of what Orochimaru would do

*Jiraiya said in disgust of himself for making such a disgusting jutsu, Minato nodded and looked down at the scroll and what it said it does*

Minato:"memory blocker, a B level justsu the more chakra you place on the scroll the higher level the technique will become. With this you'll be able to erase or altered someone's memory"....

*Minato grabbed her hat and placed it on himself*

Minato: Kushina will be the only to have this placed on Her, You and me? We'll live with this guilt and shame it's the least we deserve

*Jiraiya nodded as they both got up and flickered to Kushina in the hospital room, she was sleeping exhausted but with a smile having both of her baby boys in her arms, Minato's expressionless mask faltered a little as the reality of what he's gonna do hit him like a load of bricks, but his eyes became cold again as he nodded to Jiraiya, Jiraiya gave a silent sigh grabbing Naruto from Kushina's grasp and flickering out. Minato walked up to Kushina and kissed her temple softly*

Minato: please.... please forgive me for this even if we both know you could never forgive something like this

*Minato said as a lump started to grow on his throat, he did the jutsu, for all Kushina will remember menma lived but Naruto didn't survive childbirth*

With Jiraiya in land of iron

*Jiraiya bought a basket and placed Naruto inside it, he made sure he was as warm and as comfortable as possible. He walked to the orphanage seeing a lady already there waiting for him, Jiraiya flinched, he looked down, Naruto had grabbed his finger and started to giggle. Not a lot of things can break Jiraiya's heart the old sannin has been through enough heartache throught his lifetime to get used to it. But this? This was something that managed to break the heart of the toad sannin of mount myoboku. He kissed the baby's forehead and took his finger back*

Jiraiya:sorry kid, I'll pray to Kami that you have a good life....

*Jiraiya said in some pathetic attempt to make himself feel better about this whole situation, he walked to Takeda Yoshie and gave her the basket, the late 50 woman looked at the little baby*

Takeda:does he have a name?

Jiraiya:yeah...Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki

*Takeda lifted her gaze but Jiraiya was already gone, she smiled as she gave little Naruto her finger to play with*

Takeda:don't worry Naruto you'll make lots of friends here I promise....
