*Naruto and his group were walking further south from where Konoha used to be. Hinata was a little nervous this was her first time outside of Konoha and it wasn't even for an official mission from her Hokage. Haku walked slower until he was next to Hinata*

Haku:so your Hinata hyuga? It's nice to meet you. Anko always boast about you to Zabuza

Hinata:s..she does?

Haku:yes. She keeps saying that by the chunnin exams you'll be able to kick his apprentice ass without a sweat

*Hinata eyes widen as she starts to panic looking between her and anko who was busy annoying her little brother*

Hinata:what?!

Anko:and i stand by my statement!

Naruto:your just being petty since he beat you in a fight and you have yet to get over that

Anko:that is irrelevant!

Naruto:Uhu

*Naruto ignored the angry glare his sister was giving him and looked at Hinata up and down*

Naruto: well looking at you, you seem a lot stronger then Sakura but that's not saying much. I hope you can show why my sister choose you in this mission

Hinata:i.. I'll try my best!

Anko:so who is it where killing?

Tazuna:huh? Oh uh anybody who tries to kill me i guess? You 4 are my body guards against gato

Naruto:so you don't want us to kill him? Because let's say you finish this bridge what's to stop gato from hiring a couple of Shinobi and just destroy what has to be your life work

Tazuna: because that would just bring the might of the daimyo. If he did that even that lazy bastard wouldn't be able to ignore us and would have to act to protect us giving the laws he himself made

Naruto:hm. I've met the daimyo a few times

Tazuna:oh?

Naruto:your right he is very lazy

Tazuna: pfff

*Tazuna chuckled softly at that. A scroll came falling from the sky, Naruto took it and read it in his mind*

Mission:kill a bridge builder named tazuna and his family

From:gato

Reward:100,000 ryo

*Naruto hummed, he bit his thumb and wrote "unavailable", the scroll burned and returned to it's owner*

With gato

*Gato was sitting in his office relaxing with a cup of sake while in front of him he watch as a couple of goze woman sang for him. A scroll appeared in his desk and hi opened it frowning not liking the response*

Gato:that's a shame, i really need to talk to that group about becoming my personal assassin's for reasons like this

*Gato threw the scroll away not taking it personally knowing it was just business, he took a new scroll and started writing, he threw the new scroll to one of his messengers*

Gato:get that to iwagakure, they need to be here by tomorrow at the latest, I'm willing to pay for an A rank hell even an S rank if it means that family is finally dead!

*The messenger trembled at his boss tone but nodded and left running. Gato sighed and returned to his drinking letting the singing calm his nerves but only slightly*

Back to Naruto

*The ride walk to the old man's home was uneventful after the two Shinobi from the beginning, Naruto and his group just walked and had light conversation*

Tazuna:alright we're here. I should warn you my grandson is... A bit of a handful

Naruto:hm.

*tazuna opened the door and walked inside with the reject club behind him*

Tazuna:tsunami i bring great news!

Tsunami:not so loud father. You'll wake up Inari

*Tsunami said walking out of the kitchen while she cleaned her hands on her apron. Naruto looked at the woman and one of the 2 other person him and his team will be protecting, a middle aged woman with dark blue hair  *

Tsunami:welcome. Are you the Shinobi my father went to aquire?

Naruto: technically yes but at the same time no. I'll let your father tell you it is his story after all

Tsunami:father?

Tazuna:yeah. The Shinobi found out i was lying and went home. But this 4 came with me since they're assassin's not Shinobi and agreed to help me purely out of spite for there Hokage

Tsunami:out of spite?

Naruto:it's complicated. Family drama and all that

Tsunami:ah alright. If you don't mind me asking what rank are all of you? Or is that rude to ask?

Naruto;it's fine. Me and my beloved Haku

Haku:that would be me

Naruto:are both A rank, my sister with the purple hair behind me is +A rank almost an S rank giving she trains regularly with people like the sannin Tsunade and the demon of the mist Zabuza and Hinata hyuga?

Anko:eh, she would be C rank maybe C+ if she pushes herself. All three of us will be carrying for her, for most of this mission

Hinata:i.. I'm so sorry that I won't be of much help...

Haku:why are you apologizing? You just started training under anko it's only natural that you are not on our level yet, power takes time to get

*Hinata nodded slowly but flinched when she felt anko's hand on her shoulder, she didn't have to turn back to know her sensei was sporting her usual sadistic smile*

Anko:beside while we wait for this gato to make his move I'll be training you with help from Haku if he so chooses

Haku:sure I'll help, Naruto since this is technically your mission that makes you team leader. You know what this means

Naruto:yes love. I don't get to rest i have to remain with tazuna at almost all times to ensure his safety

Tazuna:almost all times?

Naruto:I'm not going to the bathroom with you, apart from that I'll become your shadow until the bridge is build

Tazuna:ah gotcha. Well tsunami, is dinner ready? I'm starving

Tsunami:of course, i just hope there's enough for everyone

Naruto: it's kind of you to share regardless tsunami San, if there's not enough to go around I'll sacrifice my bowl. I have some military rations pills that will fill me if i need to eat

Haku:you sure it's wise to eat those? You know what a pain they are after the 3 day mark

Naruto:i know, i also know yin will be a dick and won't heal me unless I'm in danger, just because he's a dick but I'll manage

Haku:hm.

*Haku nodded slowly still not liking when anyone of his loved one takes those pills hating the aftereffects of them. The group of 6 walked to the dinning room. 5 of them sat down while tsunami went to the kitchen to get the food*

Tazuna: we'll be going to the bridge tomorrow to continue the construction of the bridge

Naruto:noted, you should expect and attack tomorrow at the latest so don't let your guard down team especially you Hinata, your the weak link you need to be especially careful

*Hinata flinched but nodded soon enough tsunami walked in with the food, enough for everyone*

Tsunami:excuse me while i wake up my son

*Tsunami left and those on the table went right in to start eating*

Meanwhile in Konoha

*Minato was drinking sake having a major headache, and more importantly major paperwork thanks to Naruto and anko*

Minato:hiashi hyuga, i understand your concern over your clan heir but there's nothing i can do, Hinata left of her own accord to a training mission with her sensei you will have to accept that

Hiashi:last i checked her sensei was kurenai Yūhi not anko mitarashi

Minato:and Neji's sensei is guy but that hasn't stopped you and some of your elders to train him as if you all were his sensei, your point?

*Hiashi scowled as Minato poured himself another glass*

Minato:anko submitted the form to train outside of Konoha with Hinata, your wife signed it, i signed it there is literally nothing that can be done except wait for her return. Now if that's all please leave my office

Hiashi:...as you wish Hokage

*Hiashi said coldly as he got up and left, finally alone Minato gave out a long groan since all he just said was a lie since where anko was taking Hinata was no training ground but an actual mission*

Minato:and then they're on my case for why i can't pick favorites this is what happens when i do

*Minato muttered bitterly to himself and he drank the sake that hiruzen left to add a bit more salt in that wound hiruzen wrote in kanji "good luck sucker" on the bottle*

Minato:become the Hokage he said. It's the greatest honor for a Shinobi he said...Anbu someone get my wife maybe I'll get lucky and she won't be so mad that she'll give me some relief if not another Anbu go grab my icha icha collection from under my bed

*2 Anbu left the ceiling and left on different directions to obey there Hokage*
