Part.01
Betrayal.01
Claudette moaned silently as she hugged the outskirts of the map, her limp arm brushing against it here and there. She looked up to the moon with a painful look before stopping and staring into the distance. The sound of grass rustling caught her attention and she slowly made her way to the brick wall before peeking past it to see a woman with dirty blonde hair.
The woman was no older than her. Her black hoodie hung off her left shoulder, her white t-shirt was covered in chunks of blood, and her jeans were torn and matted. Even her face had blood on it.
Claudette watched her but flinched whenever her wound began to throb, a soft cry escaping her lips. Her eyes squinted as she rose her hand to see the wound. Her bright pink jacket was torn and blood had seeped onto it. "H-Hello?" She heard the woman call, her voice seemed to be broken in some way. Claudette moved out from behind the wall and revealed herself.
Claudette wasn't in any better shape. Her hair was matted like the blondes only blood caked her hair, her face, and clothes. Her bright pink and teal hoodie was covered in dirt and blood and her purple pants were torn and covered in the same substance.
"Y-You?!" The woman asked in shock. "You saved me!"
Claudette stayed silent as she looked down to the ground, her mind tracing back to the woman she managed to pull off a hook at the start of it all. She clenched her fist and bit down hard as her eyes began to water.

"Come on!" Claudette whispered to herself as she pushed her legs to go faster. Her brown eyes locked on the male who was struggling to keep the Entity from taking him like the others. Her heart raced and her breathing hitched as she grew closer to him, her eyes narrowing on him. Then, her heart dropped and her feet jerked to a stop. She was too late. "JAKE!"
The male raised his hands and let out a cry as the Entity tore through his body, blood splattered onto Claudette's face and clothes as she stared in shock. Her body quivered as she felt her stomach twist into knots of disapproval.

Claudette fell to her knees and sniffed as tears began to roll down her cheeks. "They're all dead...because of me..." She felt the woman pull her into a warm embrace causing her to flinch at her arm. "You're hurt..here, let's patch you up." She didn't say anything as the woman began to patch up her arm, the slash that the monster had managed to give her when she tried to vault over a window.
Claudette looked to the woman who was hugging her knees near her. This was how it was bound to be now. They still needed two more gens before the doors would be powered but there was only two of them left.
This woman...did she deserve to live?
Claudette thought she was alone when she first entered this land but when she met Jake and Dwight she found she wasn't. They protected her with all their might but this girl. She did nothing but run.
"Hey," Meg called, standing up from her spot. "Let's get a move on. We don't need to be sitting around here waiting for death now do we? Come on, let's go get those gens."
Claudette looked at the woman's hand that was stretched out to her, she took a deep breath before grasping it. The two women stuck close to one another as they entered the killer shack. The gen there was pumping barley. This was where Dwight got caught, the poor man never seen it coming.
The two knelt down and began to pull on certain wires until the gen began to throb with life. It's sound of life echoed loudly through the air around them. Suddenly, Claudette felt cold.
Grass had moved outside the shack.
Claudette's hair stood on end as she looked behind her towards the doorway where a pallet lay. She swallowed hard as she stood up, slowly making her way towards the doorway, her breathing hitched. "Hey! Claudette! What're you doing?! You're gonna get us caught!" Meg whisper-yelled to the woman who ignored her call.
Meg watched the woman grow closer to the door then, just like that, Claudette screamed and slung down the pallet causing Meg to stand to her feet and slowly back up. There stood the monster they feared. The Trapper.
His breathing echoed as he broke the pallet.
"Meg run!" Claudette called as she dashed forward towards the blonde who stood there in fear and shock. When they both sprinted out of the shack the blonde stumbled but kept her balance as she dashed faster than her ally who struggled to keep up.
!Snap!
Claudette screamed in pain as the bear traps metal teeth dug into her skin, the metal jaws locking her in place. Tears ran down her face as she struggled to open the jaws. "Meg!" She called, looking up to the blonde who stopped and looked back at her. "Help me!" The woman she called for gave a hesitant look before shaking her head slightly and turning her back to the woman who trusted her. "MEG!"
