Dustowl was shocked that Qiukstar would have him mentor his own daughter?  That was the only thing running through his mind until the clan yelled his kit's names, "Shadowpaw, Mosspaw,Stormpaw" 

  The only thing that he wanted to do now was sleep after showing his daughter around the territory and explaining everything that needed to be explained.  It felt like he had just drifted off to sleep, when all of a sudden Redpelt woke him saying that Dustowl would be joining his patrol with his apprentice on a border patrol, that would be covering the Shadowclan border.  When he walked out into the clearing it smelled moist and the patrol was waiting for him, but he said, "I need to eat first." and his patrol all settled around him and they all ate a piece of fresh kill, then they set off on their patrol.  When they got into the forest he led the patrol to the Shadowclan border and when he got there there were four Shadowclan warriors sitting there with fighting hunger in their eyes.  Surprisingly the Shadowclan deputy, Rustypelt , was also there saying, "We'll teach those Windclan cats a lesson not to cross our border," as soon as he saw them he signaled him patrol to stop and he also silenced them and gestured to the Shadowclan cats, the patrol immediately stopped and he signaled them to stay low and return to camp.

   They wisped into camp and yelled to Quikstar that they needed help and also explained, "That there are four Shadowclan warriors over the border and saying they are going to teach us a lesson, and also they say that some of our cats have been in Shadowclan territory, who was it?"  Suprisingly all of his kits, including Shadowpaw stepped up and admitted that they were curious.

When Quikstar saw this he said, "They are new apprentices and I can understand their curiosity, can't we all?" every cat looked at each other and nodded.
