Duska

He hasn't said a word apart from 'let's go' after finishing his smoke, I can't tell if he's mad at me or disappointed in himself. I hold Flowey's pot in my hands as we walk through Waterfall, nothing looks different from my Universe other then the monsters. I've seen Aaron sit in the corner sadly as Shyren had sung confidently, i'm not sure who Washua swapped with as they had tried to cover me in dirt and rubbish. Flowey scared them off even while Papyrus death glared him. I jump as someone taps my shoulder and Papyrus chuckles beside me, he must feel a little better now. Maybe.

"so, what do we do kid..?"

I'm surprised that he's talking to me and I want to comfort him, but my gut tells me just to answer his question.

"We... try and find another tear."

"hmm... sounds straight forward..."

"Sounds stupid. We can't just find one! It's like saying 'let's make a rip in the Universe!' So stop being so stupid!!"

"...you say another word and i'll rip the petals off you slowly."

"Ooh!~ So original!!"

"more original then a talking inanimate object."

"Flower's aren't an object-"

"Shut up!! Neither of you are helping!!"

I feel a growl in my throat and hopefully it's too quiet for either to hear. They go silent and I exhale slowly. I just want to curl up on a couch and sleep until Sans wakes me, he always does when i'm having a nightmare. I hear a heavy growl and I snap my head from left to right, it sounded like it came from something huge.

"dammit... duska, hide."

"Wait what!?"

"Yes Duska... you should hide... doesn't mean I won't find you though."

My eyes widen as a large, wolf-like monster with white fur, gray hair, white horns and a torn patch of blue and yellow cloth on it's back. Both Flowey and Papyrus get into a fighting stance while I stand confused, who is this supposed to be!?

"what are you doing here..? you don't leave the ruins..."

"I got bored... I went looking for a skinny piece of trash but it seems like I found a human too..."

"...leave temmie. i'm not in the mood."

Temmie..!? THAT'S TEMMIE!? Why the hell is he so big!? He's taller then Papyrus!! Temmie takes a step back which makes Papyrus shoot an arm out to push me back.

"stay behind me."

"You want to fight huh..? Alright, but I think I have an... advantage."

The large wolf slightly glows as six hearts begin to float around their snarling grin, Papyrus freezes as I feel Flowey wiggle a little in his pot.

"We're dead."

"sh-shut up..."

"You know it's true. But... I like to play with my things before discarding them."

Papyrus pushes me hard until I fall on my back, skidding to a halt, as he runs for Temmie and jumps over the charging wolf. I quickly sit up and see the souls circling Temmie around their neck, an idea starts to form in my head.

"I know that look..."

"Get out of the pot and grab onto my arm, i'm going to need both hands for this."

He sighs but complies, probably thinking that he's gonna die either way, and wraps his vines around my arm as he sits on my shoulder.

"Alright... j-just... trust me."

"Do I have to..?"

"Not really."

My eyes lock onto the rotating souls, especially the dark blue one as it reminds me of Sans. It's a soul of Justice which suits him perfectly after what he's been through with the timelines. I sigh and wait a few more seconds until Papyrus dodges an attack before I push my legs into a sprint, heading right for the back of Temmie. I make a Gaster Blaster from their left and fire, taking them off balance, before jumping and reaching for a sou-

"No you don't!"

A wave of pain hits me and I fly into a wall, crashing to the ground once gravity wants to correct me.

"duska!"

"Don't run to her! If you do i'll kill her on the spot!"

I'm able to push myself onto my elbows and see what's happening, Papyrus is looking at me worryingly as a large, rainbow beam is shot at the wall above me. I unconsciously let out a short scream as I lift my arm up to block the falling rocks.

"don't hurt her! just fight!"

I open an eye in time to see a bone piercing through Temmie's front left paw, yet instead of showing signs of pain he yanks it out and it immedietly covers up with... some brown... thing. It's hard to explain it as i'm a little too far to properly see it.

"Hmpf... alright then!"

Again they go back to fighting and I use this time to stand, my back aches with pain but I ignore it as I unclench my hand.

"What the hell was so important to-..."

He stutters as I show him the dark blue soul in my hand before closing it and nodding.

"I know what i'm doing Flowey."

Again I watch the fight until the two of them are the same running distance from me yet far from each other, that's when I start running again. They both see me, making me smirk as my arms glow in an aqua fire with bandages wrapping around my eye. They're both shocked so I use this to tackle Papyrus as I hold the soul in my hand close to my own aqua colored one.

"Please work."

I whisper the words and immedietly I feel the three of us, Papyrus, Flowey and I, fall into something right after a loud tearing sound. I smile as I fall back into unconscious.
