CHAPTER 5

At exactly 6PM, I get all my things and proceed to the hotel. Everything is settled, Lian and Kin is in position. Ynah, Aya and Nath is having some fun inside the auction already. 

I'm with Myra, kaming dalawa ang talagang lalapit sa dalawa. SCA and the other agencies are also in position, They also sent some of their deft agents.

When we both reach the hotel, we did our plan. To steal the invitation from one of the visitors or be the date of one of the visitor, and yes we succeed.

Madali lang naman, aanyayahan lang matandang lalaki sa kama pagkatapos ng auction. Pero siyempre, hindi ko gagawin yun. Why would I do that? I respect myself, and I'm not into old man. I don't need a sugar daddy because I'm a sugar mommy myself.

I chuckled on my own thoughts that makes the old man looked at me.

"What's the problem baby girl? Why are you chuckling?"

Ngumiti ako at pilit tinago ang ngiwi sa labi dahil sa boses niya. Oh gosh, this feels disgusting.

I shook my head. "Nothing, I just remembered something."

He nodded and held my hand to guide me inside the hotel. I grinned surreptitiously as the guard let us in, looks like I chose a good and perfect old man for tonight.

When I roamed my eyes around the auction, I saw Aya and the three talking to some stranger. It was indeed a great auction, it was just about paintings, vase, and all about arts.

Ang ipinagtataka ko lang kung bakit may mga sindikato sa loob, hindi yung normal lang na collector ng mga lumang bagay.

Are they having some transaction? Or are they really? Sa pagkakaalam ko auction lang talaga ang magaganap dito, yun ang sabi ni commander X. And I'd like to tease X if ever, just if ever na may transaction pala.

That would be good. Especially because X never did some mistakes when it comes to work. Not unless it's because of his girl. Yuckiee.

The old man guide me to sat on the front seat. Is he one of the VIP's? Because if yes, wow what a luck for today huh.

Hindi pa gaano karami ang tao sa loob kaya't nakikilala ko ang ibang bisita. They're one of my past mission, what I mean is yung involved sa mga misyon ko. Commander X said that they're going to handle those criminals but what are they still doing in here?

Hindi ba dapat nasa loob na sila ng kulungan?

I gulp hardly when I saw Wave walking through the red carpet. Nasa unahan siya ng lalaking katabi ko umupo. Bakit sa tuwing nakikita ko siya kinakabahan ako? Siya lang ang nakakagawa nito sakin, wala ng iba. At kinakabahan ako sa ano mang mangyari.

Wave is not a good opponent, his aura screams danger. And it freaks me out everytime I feel that danger.

And that only means I need a sedentary plan to catch him. I'm actually not that confident in this mission, but I know it will be easy. Kasi sa pwesto namin ngayon at sa dami ng agent na nakapalibot sa kaniya hindi na ako magtataka kung mahuli nga sila ngayon.

And I'm still pissed at commander X, bakit kasi gagalaw na kami ng wala pa ang pangatlong kumunista? Tama naman sila na wala na kaming oras lalo na at ngayon lang talaga ang transaction nila dito sa Cotabato. They said they'll be back in Pakistan after a month in here, together with their wives.

Kaya pala isang buwan lang ang palugit ni X, dahil aalis din pala kaagad ang mga ito.

Nang magsimula ang auction, kaniya kaniya na sila ng bidding sa mga gamit sa harap. At dahil mukhang hindi mahahalata na may ginagawa sila, tumingin ako sa matandang lalaki na nasa tabi ko at ngumiti.

"Can I go to the bathroom? I need to pee,"

He looked at me and nodded. "Sure baby, come back here fast."

I plastered a small smile and nodded. As soon as I stood up, my smile was gone immediately. Nakakadiri.

I looked at Myra and nodded my head as if I'm telling her to come with me and good thing she did. We both entered the restroom and checked all the cubicles. Walang tao.

"It's suspicious," She said as soon as she locked the door.

"Yes it is. Kin, does Wave or Caion entered this room?"

Seconds passed before Kin answered my question. [Yes, the two of them. Why? What's happening?]

I shook my head as if she heard it. "I'll just check the second floor, incase we'll be needing their fingerprint."

I get my bag ang get the newspaper in the corner. I get the nanopowder and poured it to the newspaper, the fingerprints showed up and I used my phone to scanned it all.

I dialed Nana's number and one ring she already answered it.

"You saw it? How's that?" I asked immediately.

[Nope, he never touch the newspaper.]

I sighed and looked at Myra. "Let's just stick with plan, let's just observe their move. I know there's going on in this auction, it's suspicious."

She nodded and fix her tangled dress. I also fix my own dress before going out of the room. I roamed my eyes and it immediately widened when I saw a man carrying a box in the backstage.

Shit! I was right, there's a transaction in here.

Sino nga ba talaga ang hindi gagawa ng bagay na iyon dito? Na kasama ang mga kriminal? Sinong hindi mag-iisip?

[Fucking hell, does commander X knew about the whole building surrounded by the guards!?]

Nagsimula akong kabahan sa narinig mula kay Kin, mas lalo pa akong kinabahan ng makitang may nag-uusap sa likuran ng kurtina. Kung saan nagpapatugtog ang DJ kung bukas lang ang bar na to.

I went to my seat and smiled at the old man. While they're busy with the bidding, I get my phone and texted the group chat.

Me: Everything is a mess, a real mess suckers. Kin, find a way for us to get out of this hotel. Lian, ready the car. Aya, Ynah, Myra and Nath, the four of you ready your guns. I'll deactivate my bombs if ever, hindi naman iyon gaano kalaki ang mapapasabog niya but it's enough to made our rivals busy.

Myra: Looks like the other agencies can't get the real reason here. It's a trap for all the agencies.

Iyon din ang naisip ko kanina pa. Na baka trap lang ito ng dalawa kaya hindi kasama sa auction ang pangatlong kumunista, dahil wala naman talaga silang planong magpapahuli. Shit, I didn't expect them to be this smart.

Kin: No way out, sorry guys but you were surrounded by the guards.

Napabuntong hininga ako ng bahagya. Then we don't have a choice.

Me: Then let's play fair, let's play with the guns suckers. Where's the most easiest way to escape Kin?

Nana: Hi babes, sorry for interrupting you but hell yes I know a place. At the backstage, I have a CCTV camera out there and yes I put that, I'm intelligent yes? Anyways, it looks like they all planned everything. Cation and Wave is leaving already, they're carrying a lot of bags and it looks like it filled with a lot of money. You can use that way, just be careful there's a lot of bouncer out there. Sundan niyo na din kaagad si Caion at Wave, deactivate your bombs now hon. Time is running, tick tock. Tick, tock.

I shook my head as I opened the device. I roamed my eyes everywhere, mga wala silang kamuwang-muwang sa nangyayari sa paligid nila. Ni hindi nila alam na mamatay na pala sila ngayong gabi.

I sighed as I tapped the deactivate button. One minute and the bomb in the corner will blown up, and it won't gave a big impact but it's enough to get the crowds attention ang get panicked.

A minute had passed and it erupt. Nagpanic ang lahat, kaniya-kaniyang tawag ng security nila at pinapa-protektahan ang mga sarili. Kahit ang matandang lalaki na katabi ko kanina ay bigla akong iniwan, gago din.

I saw Aya and the others coming out from nowhere and run towards the backstage. I also get my gun over my dress and pointed it to the bouncer and pulled the trigger.

Nagkakagulo na, nagbabarilan na ang lahat kakampi man at kaaway. Agencies to communists, all of them were firing a gun in sync.

Napatago ako sa isang mesa ng may dumating na isang grupo ng mga lalaki na naka-itim at nagsimulang patayin ang mga agents na nakapalibot kahit na ang mga kriminal sa loob.

So this is their plan, to kill all the people inside the auction. Napailing ako sa sobrang inis sa katalinuhan nila, how did they know!? It's the first time!

I get my phone and deactivate the other bomb where the opponents with a suit are.

Sumabog ito at namatay ang ibang kalaban, hindi naman nailagay sa rules na hindi pwedeng pumatay kapag ikaw na ang nasa peligro diba? Alangan namang hahayaan ko na lang silang patayin ako na hindi lumaban? Hindi ako bobo.

I get my gun and fired it to them and run.

"Angel! Right here!"

Tumingin ako kung nasaan nanggaling ang boses na iyon at nakita ko si Ynah na nakatingin sa akin mula sa likuran. I nodded and protected myself using a gun while running to the backstage. Naka-abot ako doon at sabay kaming naglakad palabas.

"It's a trap." Nath said.

"It was obviously is, they're planning to kill all of them. At dahil nasa misyon tayo, damay lahat."

Aya sighed and chuckled after. "I thought I'm gonna die in there."

Tiningnan siya ng matalim ni Myra. "Edi sana nagpakamatay ka na doon."

"Ayaw ko pang mamatay noh!"

Hindi ko na lang sila pinansin at nauna na, nang makitang may lilikuan ay sinenyasan ko silang tumahimik. Dumikit ako sa pader at sinenyasan si Myra sa kabila. Sabay kaming tumango ng nakapwesto na kami at sabay kaming tumingin sa parehong gilid.

Tamang tama naman na may pumasok na mga kalalakihan sa unahan ko kaya't kaagad akong nagpaputok, Myra and the others helped me and yes, we killed all of them.

Dumeretso kami sa dinaanan nila at nakita ang labas, we saw a van and some mens entering it. Including Caion and Wave, napamura ako at nagtago sa isang gilid bago nagpaputok.

Myra and the others did the same, I cursed loudly when they came inside the van unscratched. Kinuha ko ang dalang hoodie ni Ynah at sinuot bago tumakbo ng mabilis, nagbabakasakaling maabutan sila.

Hindi pa sila nakakalayo kaya't bumalik na ako kina Myra. Buti na lang at nandoon na din ang kotse na dala ni Kin.

"Wala si Lian, nandoon pa sa ibabaw nagmamasid." Bungad niya sa'min.

I nodded and called Lian. "Did you saw the van? I know you did, paputukin mo ang gulong nila. We're close."

[Copy that captain.]

Hindi nagtagal at nakarinig kami ng kaluskos ng gulong kaya't nagmamadali ang pagmaneho ni Kin.

Pagkarating namin doon ay nag-uunahang sumakay ang mga lalaki sa kotse habang ang iba ay isa-isang namamatay.

Lian is a good sniper, she's a pointer.

I get a gun inside the car and started to fire, huli ko na napansin ang isa pang sasakyan na nasa unahan kung saan sumakay si Wave at Caion.

"Putangina pasok!"

Sabay kaming pumasok ulit at nakipag habulan sa sasakyan nina Caion at Wave, huli ka din namin napansin na papunta ito sa isang bukid. What are they doing in here!?

[Fuck it! Stop the car!]

Sa narinig ko sa kabilang linya at bigla akong napasigaw. "Stop the car!"

Inihinto iyon ni Kin at hinihingal na tinignan ako.

"What is it Nana?"

She sighed in relief. [It's their hideout, good thing I hacked their CCTV. Madaming nakahanda sa unahan, bumalik na kayo.]

I sighed and layed my back. "Bumalik na tayo,"

"What? Malapit na lang sila! We can't stop here!?"

I squeezed my eyes tighter and opened it afterwards. "It's also a trap, may nakahanda na para patayin tayo. Let's just go back before we got ambush."

They all sighed nodded.

Iniliko niya ang sasakyan at sa huling pagkakataon ay tumingin ako sa likuran.
