CHAPTER 4

I wore a sexy backless red dress and a leather jacket on it when we decided for a night out, for the last time I guess?

Atleast may kasama ako ngayon, usually I go out alone. Hindi ako masyadong sumasama sa kagrupo ko.

I went out of my room and welcomed by Ynah's face. I sighed as I irritatingly veered my body at her. When I went out of the house, I saw Myra together with Aya and Nath leaning in their car. I bet they're waiting for us.

"Let's go," I walked through the road and enter my car. I maneuver my car to the nearest club and we all entered it.

I sat in the counter and ordered margarita, as my favorite.

Aya, together with her mates enters the VIP room. I ordered margarita once again and take shot before proceeding to the room. There's a lot of alcohol in there but I don't usually drink tequila or beer. I'm more comfortable with margarita, its strong but it's enough to make me feel sober after how many shots.

Nath raised a bottle of beer and smiled. "Tara shot, pakalasing."

I also raised a brow and called a waiter, I ordered margarita and lay my back on the sofa and let myself rest for a while. I want to get wasted but I don't want to work tomorrow with my aching and sickening head.

Everything is set, bombs are all set. Guns are ready, and so are we. Ang problema lang ngayon ay kung papaano namin madakip ang pangatlong kumunista.

We still don't have any idea where he is, were lacking of evidences and details. We can't arrest him without a proper plan.

I sighed and drink the alcohol I ordered.

"Nice! Magpakalasing tayo!"

Matalim kong tinignan si Aya at saka nagsalita. "Don't be stubborn Aya, we have a mission tomorrow.
If we'll succeed the mission unscratched, doon ka na pwedeng magpakalasing."

Aya pouted and veered her head. "Hmp! Minsan na nga lang uminom pagbabawalan pa."

I sighed and shook my head, kahit kailan talaga ang sakit sa ulo.

"They're inside,"

Napatingin ako kay Myra ng bumulong siya sa'kin. "What?"

"I mean, Caion and Wave are inside. They're having some fun,"

I raised a brow and stood up. I went out and go to the first floor and sat on the counter. We're not in the bar inside the hotel, iba ito. But I was confuse why they're here.

Pero siguro hindi na ako magtataka pa, kung kaya nilang pumunta sa ibang bansa, dito pa kaya?

I roamed my eyes around the club and there, I saw them–the three of them having some fun. I looked at the man I kissed the other day, was he? Is he the third person?

I get my phone and tapped Nana's number.

Search the details about the man I kissed the other day. I know you saw him, I need it ASAP.

Hindi na ako nag-antay pang mag reply siya at uminom na lang. Pero segundo lang ang lumipas ng mag vibrate ang telepono ko.

A surgeon in Roldan's Hospital. No crime, clean profile. Means, he's not.

Napahawak ako sa sintido ko sa nabasa. Sinabi na ni Nana, he's not the third person. Seconds later, another message pop up.

He's having a medical mission in Mindanao, at mukhang matatagalan siya diyan. He'll be sending to the peak of the mount, mukhang may laban doon.

I squeezed my eyes shut and sighed deeply. I kissed a doctor, nice.

I looked at their position but I can't find him. I roamed my eyes around the club and find his familiar figure.

Hindi ko siya nakita kaya hinayaan ko na lang.

Ano kaya ang ginagawa niya rito? Doktor siya diba? Bakit wala siya sa ospital? Bakit siya umiinom?

But hell yeah, doctors can drink. Not because they know what's the effect of the alcohol, they'd avoid it.

I played with my glass as I tapped the counter, out of boredom, I stood up and get my leather jacket and put it on the counter and walked through the crowd.

I started to dance widely in the crowd, nakikisabay sa mga tao sa paligid. The presence beside me and his callous hand around my waist couldn't deter me from dancing widely.

Ahh... life of freedom.

The impinge of the alcohol after a shot spread in my body. It's not what they called BAC, oh... yes it's a BAC. Am I drunk?

I chuckled and shook my head lightly and hold onto the man's shoulder.

"Woah... woah... I'm drunk shit!" I said when I saw the lights getting dizzy. What? How could the light get dizzy? Am I drunk? Oh no I'm not... yes I'm not.

"Tsk, you're drunk lady."

I looked at the man in front of me and diminished my eyes. I blinked numerous times and smiled inwardly.

"Oh hi there Mr. Handsome, nice suit." I said, looking at his outfit.

He held my hand and pulled me to the counter and put my jacket on me. I didn't protest but I know to myself that I'm still sober. Yes I am, just a little bit drunk and dizzy.

"Tsk, bakit ka ba uminom?"

I rolled my eyes and rested my head on the counter. "Because I drink?" I answered sarcastically.

"Damn woman, are you that stubborn?"

I chuckled and nodded. "More than that, higher."

He shut his eyes and sighed. "Where do you live?"

I became serious, I stand straightly and shook my head. "I don't need your solicitous attitude and besides, I'm with my friends."

He gulp and nodded. "O-okay,"

I chuckled. "I was such a boor right?" 

He looked at me curiously. "Huh?"

I chuckled again and shook my head. "Nothing,"

He looked at me and stared at my face. I shot a brow and titled my head. "Yes? Do you need anything?"

He also titled his head and nodded. "Can I kiss you?"

My laughter synchronized the sound but it immediately gone and my face became serious again. "Saying no to your offer is idiocy but yes... I'll rather choose being an idiot than kissing you."

He gulped and nodded, I can see his crimson red cheeks.

"Auh... o-okay,"

I chuckled and checked my wrist watch, I'm getting sober every second. Nawala na ang epekto ng alak sa katawan ko.

"Anyways, I need to go." I stood up and smiled. "See you when I see you Mr. handsome, bye."

I get my bag and went up, I took a simple glimpse at Caion and Wave and there they are, having some fun with women again.

I just shook my head and entered inside the VIP room.

"Where'd you been?"

I looked at Myra, she looks drunk. But I know she's sober.

"Outside,"

I roamed my eyes inside the room, grabe ang kalat nila. Wala pa ngang isang oras ng umalis ako dito kanina.

"Let's go, we need to go home. We still have to do something this early in the morning."

She nodded and get the two–Aya and Ynah–because the two of them seemed so drunk. Baka nga hindi makalakad, ang sabi ko pa naman ay huwag magpakalasing masyado.

When we reach the parking lot, I drove my car to the house. Sakay ko si Ynah at Kin dahil hindi kaya ni Kin isakay si Ynah sa motor niya.

Pagpasok sa bahay kaagad inalalayan ni Kin si Ynah papasok sa loob. Gayun din si Nath na akay si Aya, mga sakit sa ulo talaga.

I fix my tangled dress and went inside my room and took a shower. When I finished taking a shower, I took my phone and called Nana.

[Hello bitch, do you need anything?]

I rolled my eyes and layed my back on my bed. "Are you free tomorrow night? I need your help."

[Uhmm... wait, what time?]

"Maybe at six? Well... base on the mission."

[Dang... does commander X wanted to rush you? Hindi niyo pa nga kilala yung pangatlo.]

"They said it doesn't matter anymore, basta mahuli lang namin ang dalawa."

[Nice... wait up. Tracking... tracking... oh yes, I have some time.]

I mentally rolled my eyes. "Meron naman talaga, naka-upo ka lang naman lagi diyan sa opisina mo."

She chuckled on the other line before cutting it off.

Sleeping upon the bed. I wake up with the same dream again. I thought it was gone already?

"I don't want to force you, just let me in."

I want to protest but he's persistent, I sighed and let him in. "Don't do anything stupid, please lang pagod ako."

He looked at me and nodded inwardly. "I will, let's talk hmm?"

And here I goes again. Binababa ko na naman ang sarili ko, dahil na naman dito.

"What is it? What do you want?"

He looked at me tenaciously and smiled. "I miss you, I know it's against your will to do that. Hindi na kita pipilitin... bumalik ka lang sa'kin?"

I bit my lower lip when I felt myself getting softer again. Na naman! Nang dahil lang sa matamis niyang dila. Pero ano bang magagawa ko? Kahit na ano pang gawin ko bumabagsak parin ako sa kaniya.

"I love you." I said as an answer.

I shook my head and cursed myself. "Gago namputa, ganun ba talaga ka martyr ang babaeng yun? Isang salita tiklop agad? Mababa!"

I laughed at my own remark. Kasi... ako naman yung sinasabihan ko diba? I'm that woman in my dream, it's not that detailed but I know to myself that it was me. That woman who doesn't even know how to gave herself some love. Ackk... girl is so martyrs sometimes, and I hate the fact that I'm one of them.

I stood up and get a medicine for a hangover. I went inside the bathroom and washed my face and drink the medicine.

Kaya ayaw ko sa alak eh, masakit sa ulo.

When I was done, I went out of the room and entered the cuisine. Wala pang handa kaya sigurado akong tulog pa silang lahat. I ready the food and cooked for them. Lagi naman nila akong ipinagluluto kaya ako na muna ngayon.

It's not that I'm lazy, it's just that I'm busy with some papers that I needed to sign. Especially the papers coming from my company.

Not to mention the untold meeting that I also need to attend but since I'm busy with my work, I need to pass my job to my trusted secretary. And yes, it's still successful after how many years.

Ang pagiging agent ko lang naman ang naging dahilan kung bakit ako nakapag patayo ng kumpanya. Do why would I left this kind of profession? I'd rather leave nursing than being agent.

That's how much I love my profession.

After cooking I went to my room and took a shower, when I went out from my room I saw all of them inside the cuisine. Kumakain na, hindi man lang ako hinintay. Mga walang modo, ako na nga nagluto ako pa yung hindi inanyayahan. Ni hindi man lang nagpasalamat.

Ang galing naman, parang pamilya mo lang.

"Nice, you ate my egg." I said when I saw Aya eating my fried egg.

"Gutom ako," Sabi niya habang antok na sinubo ang pagkain.

I shook my head bluffly and took a plate, sinabayan ko sila sa pagkain at buti na lang hindi na nag-ingay pa ang dalawa. Si Ynah at Aya lang naman ang maingay dito sa loob bahay.

Nanggugulo pa lagi kapag nagtatrabaho ako o ang iba. Puro sila kabalastugan, walang magawa sa buhay.

"Handa na siguro gamit nito ano?" Sarkastiko kong ani.

"Yes, it's all set up."

When I was done, I drank a bottle of water and my medicine. My head is aching for fuck sake.

Hindi na talaga ako iinom kahit kailan, talagang hindi na.

I went inside the sala and looked at the monitor. Inside the bar, they're busy settling all they need for the auction. And hell yes, we're also ready.

I'll arrest them no matter what, by hook and crook. Or I should say, by guns and bombs.
