CHAPTER 3

"Hey bro, who's the lady?"

I cursed inside as I watch Caion Altaraza walk towards us. Napalunok ako ng malalim ng mapansin ang tingin ni Wave.

I looked at the man next to me, is he the third person? I shook my head surreptitiously and just remain normal.

He held my hand and guide me to sat next to him on the sofa. I cursed underneath as I watch Caion and Wave kissing another woman.

Just what the fuck dude!? May asawa't anak ka na!

"Just someone," The man next to me answered.

I lowered my head listening to Kin's protest.

[Leave that room now Agent Angel! You can't move right now! Have some fear!]

I looked at the CCTV camera, I know Kin was looking at me.

I sighed as I leaned my back on the sofa.

[Darn it! What are you doing!?] I heard Myra.

I bet she already did what I told her.

"Who are you?"

I looked at Wave when I heard him spoke. The woman next to him sat on his lap and started kissing his neck. I redeem myself from punching him, damn! Wala man lang hiya!

"Just call me Angel." I said giving him a fake smile.

"Angel..."

I looked at the man I kissed earlier, I didn't even know his name. When I catch him looking at me, he smiled. I shot a brow and looked at Wave again.

"Why did you run away the other day?" He asked.

[Damn it! Just fucking leave Agent Angel!]

I didn't hear Myra's protest instead, I smiled innocently and act embarrassingly. "I-i know y-your wife," I said faking my stammer.

He looked shocked at first but seconds later his face becane firm.

"That's why you're running away from me? Kailan mo siya nakilala?"

I lowered my head and acted innocent again. "In North Carolina, she's pregnant at that time. I was the one who helped her due her pregnancy."

They all seemed shocked, even the woman whose kissing him. I smirked surreptitiously as he push the woman away from him.

That's it dick, stay away from them while you're in a relationship.

"You do?" He shockingly asked.

"I-i am,"

He scoffed and chuckled after. I bit my lower lip as I stop myself from grinning.

"That's why you're looking at me weirdly the other day huh?" He asked and I nodded. "Were you close to her?"

I shook my head. "No, it's been years since I last saw her. And I don't even know if the two of you came back... I think you still didn't."

"How did you know?"

"She used to tell me, about the marriage with you. And about her sacrifices and misery, she showed me a picture of you. That's why..."

He scoffed again and pushed the woman away from him. She did not protest, instead she gets her bag and run away. Together with the woman at Caion arms.

"Don't tell her." He said with an authority.

I grinned surreptitiously as I celebrate my winning sacred plan.

"N-nagkaayos na kayo?" I said faking my stammered voice again.

"Yes... we are."

"How's the babies?"

He stood up and looked at me. "Huwag ka ng magpakita ulit, don't you fucking ever mention my fucking sons."

I fake a horrified look as I face the man I kissed earlier. He held my arms pulling me next to him.

"Bro, chill."

Wave tsk-ed and turned his back. "Paalisin mo siya rito, I don't want distractions."

The man looked at me apologetically and I just smiled. He held my hand and encircled his arms around my waist and guide me to the first floor.

When we reach the counter I looked at him and smiled. "Thanks for tonight." Thanks for helping me killing your friends life.

He also smiled at me. "No worries, I enjoy the night."

"I gotta go." I said giving him a quick kiss before turning my back.

I opened my car door just to welcome by Aya's face. I rolled my eyes as she looked at me furiously.

"What if hindi ka nakalusot!?"

I rolled my eyes as I sat at the driver seat. Buti na lang talaga nalagyan ko ng bomba doon sa sofa, using someone is not that bad at all.

I throw my bag and slam myself on the sofa when we reach our house. I shut my eyes closely as I observe the sound of the footsteps.

Ten meter.

Eight.

Five.

Three.

One.

Oh please not the loquacious one. I hate madaldal.

"What the fuck is your fucking problem!?"

I winced slightly as I turned my back on Myra. Goodness, parang hindi ako nakakataas sa kanila ah.

"I'm talking to you!"

I boredly looked at her. "Can't you trust your colleague? I'm one of the most talented agent you know?" I said sarcastically and slammed myself again on the sofa.

"I know but... that's a dangerous move!"

"I know what I'm doing agent Myra, I'm an expert."

She scoffed and chuckled after. "Does expert can't do some mistake?"

I get up and looked at her flatly. "It's already done, what the fuck is your fucking problem?"

She shook her head and didn't say anything. 

I let her leave after that, I forced myself to get up and took a shower. When I was done, I entered the sala where all the monitors are. I checked all of it and there I saw the man earlier. I chuckled as he pushed every woman who approached him.

Hindi na ako nanood pa at saka natulog na lang. We're still waiting when will they meet, the three of them.

As I looked at the woman next to me, she smiled. I felt weird when she suddenly pulled me somewhere making me gasp.

I looked at the beautiful scenery in front of me, why would that woman pulled me in this kind of place?

"Did you know that a beauty can fade?"

I looked at my back but there's no human other than me. I looked everywhere but there isn't.

"Of course beauty can fade."

I just let myself looked at the scenery while listening to the both of them.

"But your beauty can't."

The other chuckled as the man continued to hum.

"Am I? Really?"

"Yes. And I love you."

"I love you too."

I slowly open my eyes as I wake up from my dream. I shut my eyes tightly and smiled bitterly.

I was happy at that time, why does it felt like my dreams were reminiscing my past?

I get up from the bed and looked for a coffee, I went out and entered the sala to check the monitor.

It's past noon, wala ng tao sa loob. There's a few, maybe drinking just a bit.

I looked at Kin when she absentmindedly put the coffee beside me and slammed herself on the sofa. I shook my head and let her sleep, bakit ba parang puyat na puyat to?

Minute later Nath, Lian and Aya came out from their room with their sleepyhead. I shook my head when Aya absentmindedly get my coffee and drank it. Naibuga niya ang ininom dahil sa init.

I rolled my eyes and get up, when I stepped out of the living room Myra came out from nowhere.

I shook my head, katulad din nila mukhang lutang.

Dumeretso ako palabas at mina-obra ang sasakyan patungong ACA HQ. When it comes to locating a suspect, every HQ has the best access. Hindi sumasabit kailanman dahil halos propesyonal at bihasa na sa ganitong larangan ang mga miyembro.

When I arrived, dumeretso na kaagad ako sa loob. I looked around and goes inside the heads office. I need to talk to them what will we do if the third person won't come out.

"Ma'am!" I said as I saluted.

"Agent Angel, what brought you here?"

I stand straight and looked at her. "What if the third person won't show up? What will we do?" I asked.

She looked at me and stood up. "Do the mission right away, with or without the unknown person. Without Caion and Wave, he's nothing. We can arrest him on the other time. Right now, we need to catch the two."

I nodded. "I can be indomitable sometimes ma'am, don't expect something from me."

She titled her head and raised a brow. "Are you lowering yourself now?"

I shook my head and looked at her confidently. "I'm just trying to be a... weak. It doesn't suit me."

She chuckled and motioned me to leave and so I did. I left the ACA and goes back to the house again.

Wala sina Myra pagpasok ko, mukhang nasa kaniya-kaniyang kwarto sila.

When I looked at the monitor, I saw how Caion and his wife do something sweet. I really don't know why this criminal had a coquettish manner.

"Ano daw sabi ng head sa HQ? Pumunta ka doon kanina diba?"

I looked at Myra and nodded. "Yes, we're going to do the mission with or without that unknown suspect."

"What? Why? Doesn't they want to put that fucking old man behind the bars!?"

I rolled my eyes on her. "You don't even know how old she or he is yet you're calling it old!"

"It was obviously a he, sino namang komunista na babae?"

"I know a lot, shut up,"

She sat beside me and pointed Caion. "Were you be able to make a move? At him?"

I sighed and nodded. "Of course, everything is set. Other agencies are in position, hindi tayo nag-iisa doon. Everything is ready, we're just waiting a night after this night."

Ibig sabihin lang noon ay bukas ng gabi namin gagawin ang misyon. Will I be able to do it without scratching? Untouched? Wave extravagant aura is screaming perils. Even I, a deft agent feared for my life.

"At what time?"

"Twenty hundredths, do you know how to enter the auction?"

I smiled and tapped her shoulder. "Think a plan, I'll also do my plans."

I think what she just said properly and smiled. "Nice idea, we'll try that. But we'll avoid the maoist quagmire, it's dangerous."

She nodded and played with her brows. "I love the way you speak, but sometimes I cannot understand your esoteric vocabulary."

I smirked at her. "You should study more, I'm a valedictorian you know?"

"I didn't know you're a levity sometimes."

I didn't talk when she chuckled and looked at the monitor. Later on, Lian and Kin came out from their room as they ready their equipment.

"This mission is propitious on our side, there's a lot of agencies hitting on them."  Kin said as she tapped something on the screen.

"Nice, it's good that we're be able to do our mission facilely."

"SCA is also on it, what should we do? They're all good."

I pouted my lips and raised a brow. "No one can defeat me, I'm a deft agent."

Kin smirked and raised her middle finger. "Nice, you're confident."

I looked at Aya who seemed to be  indolent since last night. "What happened to her?"

Myra chuckled and scoffed. "She drank a bottle of tequila, wasted and touched."

"Stubborn."

Nath flicked Aya's forehead and stand like a mama. "Bitch! How many time do I need to tell you that you're not allowed to drink!? A bottle of tequila!? Seriously!?"

I winced as I watched them argued in front of me, I sighed and stood up before going inside my room. I ready my guns and bombs for tomorrow, although we're still have a lot of time to rest and get ready.

I want to enjoy the life for the last time, if ever. We don't know if we'll go home alive or dead. That's why I want to enjoy it, for maybe a last time.
