CHAPTER 16

I glared at Ezel when he moved and when he saw my stare he stilled and lowered his head. Kial winced and chuckled awkwardly while checking his wreck lip.

Keil was holding his jaw and he's almost crying, his eyes is watering, maybe because his jaw was hurt. I mentally rolled my eyes, maarte lang eh.

Heidee was laying his back on the sofa because of the fracture I gave him. Binali ko lang naman ang mga buto sa katawan n'ya.

Trece was trembling while sitting in the corner of the living room.

"Gusto n'yo pa?" I asked and they immediately shook their head and shut their mouth up.

Pagkatapos ko silang bugbugin at hinabol sa sobrang galit ay medyo lumamig 'din ang ulo ko. Naibunton ko 'din kasi ang galit ko kanina sa opisina sa kanila.

And they seem to notice my irritation since earlier that's why they let me punch their face until I got bored. They said they were used to it, to be a punching bag.

"Ang sakit ng panga ko," mangiyak-ngiyak na sabi ni Keil.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my legs together and raised a brow. "If you're not stupid enough to let me fucking punch you, edi sana hindi nabangasan 'yang pangit mong mukha."

He glared at me but I remained cold and emotionless.

"What happened? You're not in a good mood eh? Sa 'min mo lang talaga naibunton lahat ng galit mo." Heidee said as he put an ointment.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Company, just some assholes trying to manipulate me. But it's done so no need to worry,"

"Kaya pala ang lakas ng suntok, tangina ang sakit ng katawan ko." Heidee growl in pain when he suddenly moved. Rinig na rinig ko ang tunog ng buto n'ya sa biglaang paggalaw n'ya.

Ezel almost burst his laughter but he stopped himself, s'ya lang kasi itong hindi ko napuruhan kanina dahil si Heidee ang unang nahawakan ko. He's too far and he keep on running away and find a way to escape from me.

The four glared at him making him shut his mouth. I looked at Trece and he looked away immediately, I don't why but they feared me. Siguro dahil kayang kaya ko silang patumbahin kaagad.

Lahat kasi kaming magpipinsan ay na train na makipaglaban, simula no'ng magising ako mula sa coma ay natutunan ko na 'yun kasama ang mga pinsan ko. I was shocked at first because my body seems to know every move I need to do.

Kaya nga mas nahasa pa ang galing kong 'yon nang masali ako sa Abilio.

Trece cried without tears, nagda-drama, he held his back and cried louder. I gritted my teeth but I didn't talk.

"Babae ka ba talaga!? You almost killed me!"

Ezel chuckled. "Mabuti na lang talaga at nakatakas ako sa suntok mo 'no? Sakit 'non,"

"Lie! Lie! Lie!"

Aeina's voice filled the whole living room, I stared at her when she run towards my direction while holding a book. What a witty.

"Yes, why?"

She put the book on the table and sighed. "I don't like the book!"

My brows shot and looked at the book. "It's a fairy tale book, why don't you like it?"

She rolled her eyes. "Because it's so boring?" she obviously said. Mas tumaas pa ang kilay ko nang tumingin s'ya sa likuran n'ya na parang papatay s'ya ng tao. "That Nana is so irritating! She said I'm stupid! Of course, I'm not!"

I heard someone chuckled and that's Kial, all of them were smiling while looking at her. Ako man din ay napapangiti kapag ganito s'ya magsalita, ang cute n'ya kasi eh.

"Ohh? Then what book do you want to read?"

Nawala ang pagka-kunot sa noo n'ya at saka s'ya ngumiti nang pagkalaki-laki. "I want that physics book!" she said and pointed the book.

Halos mahulog sa kinahihigaan n'ya si Heidee nang marinig ang sinabi n'ya.

I put my tongue in the side of my cheek and stared at her. Is this bata pa ba?

Tumango na lang ako at saka kinuha ang Physics book sa book shelf at ibinigay sa kan'ya. She grab it and run to Nana and showed it to her.

"You see this? I'll read it until I'll smart as Lie!"

I licked my lower lip and laughed surreptitiously.

Nana glared at her and smirked. "As if! You're too young and you would never be like Aizhalie!"

Aei frowned and glared at her. "I still have a lot of time to read it! I'll be intelligent as her, I can ameliorate my reading comprehension and my skills! So you better watch until I made you look like a stupid!"

I pouted and looked away, I want to laugh so bad! Nana's face is so hilarious! Nakakita talaga s'ya ng katapat n'ya.

"That would never happen!"

Aei smiled confidently. "I will make it happen, then."

I shook my head when Nana started to rant and even Aei fight her back. I stood up and went inside my room and called X for an update.

[Agent Angel, it's been a long time! You didn't inform me about what happened, huh?]

I mentally rolled my eyes, wala naman s'ya sa tabi ko kaya okay lang kung gawin ko 'yon.

"I think it's not that necessary to tell you everything, I'll just ask about them. No update?"

He chuckled. [There is, let's talk about it here in Abilio. I think it would be better if you would see this in personal.]

I nodded even though he can't see me. "Alright, I'll see in a minute."

[Okay, by the–]

I ended the call before he could say a word again. How I hate talking with him, even though he's my superior, I just don't like talking to him. With casualties, maybe?

I grab my leather jacket and wore it before you out of my room, I also get my car key and hop on my Nevera. I drove my car to the orphanage and entered it.

May mga batang sumalubong sa 'kin ngunit nginitian ko lang sila ng bahagya. A woman welcomed me and smiled.

"Good day, Agent Angel."

I just stared at her and follow her lead. She walk to a room. Everything, from outside to its inside, the orphanage looked simple and normal, but not until the door of this room was opened.

There were two ways to get to my destination, but I preferred this way.

She open the door and entered it while I followed her. There's a hidden button engraved on the floor so she stepped on it. Bumukas iyon at bumati sa 'min ang isang hagdanan pababa.

Pumasok ako at naglakad sa madilim na pasilyo na ilang beses ko nang nadaanan kaya pamilyar na sa 'kin. The sound of my heels filled the whole ledge until I reach the end where I spotted the metal door. I put my palm on the metal door and it opened.

The system greeted me but I was too preoccupied that I didn't even blinked and say anything. Some agents were playing darts and swords, some are holding their PC and some of them are doing an errands.

"Agent Angel–"

I immediately avoided the woman because she's noisy, I know her. She's one of the agent I know and she's really a bubbly person but I just don't like madaldal.

I walked through the hallway and reach X's office. I knocked and waited for him to respond.

"Come in!"

The door opened and I entered it emotionlessly. My cold eyes darted onto his blue eyes, he's sitting on his swivel chair as he looked at me.

"Good day, Agent Angel. It's nice seeing you again."

I nodded and sat in front of him. "What is it?"

He chuckled and press the button and spoke. "Adelaide, come here."

I waited for a long minute before a woman in a black suit entered. I almost rolled my eyes when she smiled at me. She confessed that she like me, I mean, she's attracted. Disgusting, I really hate it when someone likes me.

"Here it is, Commander."

She gave the PC she was holding to X and he opened it and unlocked the security and showed it to me.

I remained impassive the whole time while I was looking at the screen.

"What is this?"

I looked at him with full of curiosity but he remained quiet. He looked at Adelaide and nodded. Adel smiled a bit and tapped something on the PC and then a video played.

"I'll handle the owner of Cam Island. It'll be easy,"

I saw a man sat on the chair in front of Caion and spoke.

"I need the Island as soon as possible, kill that man if needed. I don't care."

His voice sounds familiar but I couldn't recognize it. I'm sure I heard it somewhere. His husky and deep voice lingered in my mind, I know that voice! I just need to remember it!

"What's in your mind, Angel?"

I looked at him. Adel paused the video and waited for me to speak. I titled my head and a sudden voice remembered.

It was Levi.

A loud thud suddenly beats in me. I felt scared in an unknown reason, I felt the disappointment and other emotions.

"Do you know that man?"

I looked at the PC. The man was wearing a black hoodie, an eyeglasses and a mask. Hindi talaga siya makikilala.

But if I'll base on the voice, I'm sure it's him.

Without a word, I shook my head. I'm not sure, so I won't tell it. Adelaide resume the video and stand next to X.

"I'll send you my men, you'll needing it. And of course, the transaction between our partners will continue. After you throw that trashy owner of Cam Island, we'll do it right there and then."

I leaned on the chair and crossed my arms together and listen to it carefully.

"Sure, you can count on us."

The man stood up. "I'll trust that, I'm leaving."

He left and that's when the video stops. I looked at X impassively and spoke. "What will I do?"

He smiled, the way he grin, it scares me. I don't really trust this man, since then.

"Save the owner of the Cam Island from them, you can have the team from HQ in your previous mission." He looked at Adelaide and then his gaze went back at me. "That would be your mission."

I nodded. "Is that all?"

He smiled and nodded, he stared at me but he didn't utter a word. He's scaring me but I just stood up and left the room without a proper goodbye.

Adel followed me that's why I stopped. I faced her and she smiled immediately.

"Yes?"

"What do you think about the video?"

Her brows slowly furrowed and smiled awkwardly. "I. . . don't know? I'm working here as a tracker, I really doesn't know how to handle a case like that. I prefer being inside the room with a lot of computers."

I blinked and turned my back at her. It's weird to feel like this but I shouldn't be. I went to a room where I can do some exercises.

Pumasok ako at saka hinubad ang leather jacket ko, naiwan ang suot kong sando at leggings na suot ko nang pumunta ako sa isang gilid at sinuot ang gloves.

When I was done, I went up to the ring and started to punch the punching bag. I started to think about the video earlier.

Siya ba 'yun? Why does he look so gentle then? Or what if it wasn't really him? Magka-boses lang?

And if it's him, why did he let me kill his men? And if he's the third person, bakit hindi niya ako pinatay? Bakit ang bait at ang hinhin niya? Is that an act? Why?

Bakit hindi niya na lang ako patayin? He knows I'm an agent, why did he let me?

I punched the bag forcedly and it wreck, napa-upo ako sa sahig at tumitig dito.

"That's so strong,"

I looked at my back and saw Agent Peonies.

Hindi ako nagsalita, inalis ko lang ang suot kong gloves at saka sinuot ulit ang leather jacket ko. I was ready to get out of Abilio when I heard X's voice.

"Angel!"

I looked back and looked at him emotionlessly. My cold stares went to Peonies up to him. I waited for him go speak and he did.

"I forgot this to tell you earlier," My brows almost shot because of that.

"I'm ordering you to kill those maoist."
