So, I know I haven't updated this book since before season 3 came out I believe. Now season 4 is out and I have all kinds of inspiration for this story except a couple of things have changed for me personally on what characters I like. 

So, my question, for anyone who even still reads this or will see this. Idk if anyone will so I might just decide for myself. 

I want to make it a Dustin story and I want to give Steve a love interest as well. My boys <3

So, should I just try to turn it to a Mike and Dustin love triangle and add in a new character and go from season 3. Or should I rewrite it. 

I love Rowan and her storyline, so none of that would change. I just would go back and remove the Mike romance storyline and change it to probably a slow burn Dustin love story. And then I'd add another character from season 1 that would be with Steve eventually, rather than introduce her in season 3. 

I'm leaning more towards the second option - mainly because Mike really annoys me in seasons 3 and 4 (Mike Slander is allowed on this page lol) and that makes me have like zero motivation to write season 3 and I feel like I can't put my all into it. I do wanna keep their friendship though as well as her friendship with Eleven and Hopper and her close bond with Will. Also, I haven't a clue how to write season 4 yet with Rowan being with Mike since a big part of Elevens story in season 4 is about Mike, and honestly so is season 3. I don't want to take away her whole coming into her own in season 3 or the letter Hopper writes to Eleven, but I haven't figured out how to alter it yet. 

If I did rewrite it, honestly nothing would really change in season 1 besides like the last chapter, but a lot would change in season 2. 

I'm gonna give it a week or two before I decide, to give anyone who wants to a chance to give their opinion before I make the decision. 

So, if you see this before August 14th, 2022 feel free to drop your opinion on what I should do. 

Also for the second OC that I'd be adding would we want Dove Cameron as the face claim, but brunette era Dove Cameron 

or Danielle Campbell. 

To sway your decision, if I rewrote the story she would be Dustin's older sister, if I just continued from season 3 she wouldn't be related to any character. For what that's worth.
