D
Logan's POV
I close the door to my hotel room ands flop onto !y bed, chuckling. There was a strange feeling rising in my stomach, but I didn't mind it. It wasn't a bad feeling, just unknown. Usually I don't like not knowing things, but I'll make an exception. I smile and grab my bag, searching through my clothes for something to wear tonight.
I pull out my phone, texting the number Patton gave me.
Hey, just wear something casual. Its not going to be an extremely fancy dinner.
Ok thnx I was starting 2 freak out. Lol
I raise an eyebrow at his way of texting, but I brush it off. Deciding not to be the correcting person I am.
I throw on a black cardigan with some black pants and a blue clip on tie. I brush my hair and take one last look at myself in the mirror before nodding and walking out of the door. I walk down stairs and into the street, unlocking my car door and getting in. I start my car and drive down to Patton's house, which isn't, but a few blocks away from the hotel I was staying at.
I see him on his porch and the feeling erupts from my gut again. I place a hand on my stomach and take a deep breath before rolling down the passenger side window.
"You ready?" I ask him. He looks up from his phone and smiles, making my heart warm up. He nods and hops into the car.
He's wearing a bright blue cardigan with a grey sweater tied around his neck and laid over his shoulders. I smile and drive to the restaurant that I was planning on us eating at.
"So, what are we doing tonight?" Patton asks on the way there.
"I was thinking we could have dinner and then take a nice walk, maybe sit on the beach and have a drink?" I ask. Patton smiles and nods.
"You're a true romantic." Patton says, chuckling.
I laugh. "Usually, I'm not like this. I'm usually quirky and awkward around people. But around you, I feel... Funny."
Patton looks up at me. "Oh, really?" He asks.
"Yeah. But not in a bad way. Not at all. It feels like... There's something inside of me. In my stomach. Its like... I don't know-"
He cuts me off. "Butterflies?" He asks.
I nod. "Yes, exactly. Wait... Do you feel them, too?" I ask.
"Yeah. And I... I know what they mean..."
"What?" I ask.
"I'll tell you after the date, lover-boy." Patton gets out of the car and leaves me there, wondering what was going on.
