* Before humans roamed this world , the gods owned it . Mythical creatures could walk in daylight in open fields and graze . These gods were related by blood . Once the humans came the peace once known disappeared . They killed many gods for land, power, and wealth.God's were given this name by man . Man wanted their powers for themselves. God's were not immortal. They die just as man does but, their life span is much longer . Man saw this and captured some of them for experiments. Man's goal was for immortal life. Man is truly a greedy race. The few gods what remain hide away from people. They believe they will get hurt by them just as their family members have . Has the humans race changed or are they different . *

Cindy : Hey . Ashley wake up . Class is over.

Ashley : * yawns * i'm up I'm up

Cindy : are you sure you got a little something * points to her drool *

Ashley : * wiped away drool * ya I'm sure * gets up from desk *

Cindy : well here sleepy .

Ashley : what's this

Cindy : It's the notes you missed while you were sleeping . * passed notes from class * Arn't I your best friend .

Ashley : ya thanks * takes the notes *

Cindy : well I'm off don't cause to much trouble .

Ashley : no promises

Ashley put the notes in her bag and was off. On her way walking home she stopped at the place she always stopped at after school .

*Ashley is a teenager in the 12th grade . She lives a distance away from school and walks to and from it. She lives with her aunt and uncle , who had a child of their own but took her in because they were the only family she had after her parents died mysteriously. She has brown hair and blue eyes . Dispirit how she looks she has never dated or liked anyone. *

Everyday after school ends , Ashley stops at the edge of a turn on a steep mountain. She looks out into the open trees and has never ventured down to what lays on the floor far below .

Ashley : *looks at phone* I still have time . It's only 6:00

She leans against the railing. A few of her ill brained classmates was speeding down the mountain in his brand new car his after got him .

Jake : hahaha yo watch me take this turn

Luis : I don't know .

Logan : come on dude man up . Jake take to turn .

The idiots try to drift around the corner but come only 3 feet from hitting Ashley before the went flying off the side of the mountain. Ashley hangs on for dear life . The metal from the rails cutting into her arms . The blood was making it hard to hang on .
If she let's go she knows she would die . She calls out for help with no use the only people around are the courses hundreds of feet below her .

Ashley : Somebody . Anybody . Help . Please .

Her grip was slipping as the smoke from the car drifted up and blinded her line on sight. She fell the wind beating he to go up while gravity drags her down fast .

Ashley : * thinks * i'm going to die this is it .

As if the wind had pulled her up to safety , the winds direction winter from an upwards force to a force from the north . Ashley felt arms under her .

She could hear the the winds hitting the floor.

Dusk: you can open your eyes now * he puts her on the ground as she opened her eyes *

Ashley : who .. what ... are you ? Why did you save me ?

Dusk : I ask myself the same question .

Ashley : * she looks at him * your not human are you .
