Author's Pov

Sometimes all you need is a few cups of chocolate ice cream and a long drive to a place where you feel peace but instead of this Shreya was now forced to sit and listen to her teacher talking about what digital marketing does to the business world!

She felt somewhat grateful that she just felt bored because the human next to her who is also her best friend was sleeping with her eyes open staring right into the teacher's eyes.

Shreya nudged Sri's arms to bring her out of her sleep

"Wake up before she screws you" Shreya mumbled and sri somewhat nodded Sri looking right at the teacher.

They still had 25 minutes before the bell and god knows how they were going withstand this but then as if like god heard her prayers someone entered the class to talk with the teacher, using this as a break the entire class relaxed and for Shreya a notification found in her phone made her smile widely.

She quickly slipped under the desk without anyone noticing and sat there replying to Adithya's messages one by one.

It has now become an addiction to them to keep telling them what was happening around each other.

A strong urge to keep peeking at their phone to see if they have texted or replied something.
A constant smile struggling to stay in control. Somewhere Shreya was enjoying this, it was all new and exciting. She loved how she could simply complain about how bad the canteen food is to him and he would listen to her as if that was first 's topmost issue to be solved.

Here among the well-dressed, fully professional colleagues who looked dead serious about their work sat a man with one hand on his cheeks and the other hand on the phone.

Pretending as if he was serious about their work (which he is not).

His reputation of being a man who could silence a room with just a glance was at stake today. His employees sat stiffly at their desks, heads down, typing furiously, terrified of messing up in his presence.

Among them sat Vineeth too! Working but also poking his nose into Adi's business now and then.

Vineeth looked at Aditya for a good minute One hand rested on his cheek, while the other was on his phone under the desk. His brow furrowed not with frustration, but with focus, and if anyone dared to glance up, they might catch the faintest hint of a smile on his face a very rare sight indeed.

Aditya:  " What would you do if I showed up at your college right now with coffee?"

Aditya grinned at his smooth flirting skills trying to keep his expression neutral as he waited for an answer

Shreya: "I'd pretend it's a surprise, but we both know what it is ."

And with that, he knew his next stop would be her college! Shreya always had this effect on him, breaking through his tough exterior with ease.

Vineeth who now sat just watching Aditya noticed one of the junior employees nudging and informing his co-workers about how Aditya had smiled not only but twice.

"I seriously with uttermost care and love advised this jerk the other day and here he is almost showing the world he is losing it" Vineeth mumbled

Vineeth stood up dismissed the team and sat in front of Aditya.

"What was it that you were glued to your phone the entire meeting " Vineeth asked

"Uhm..checking emails" lied Aditya with a straight face

"Oh yeah! From when did you start smiling at corrupt emails " Vineeth questioned to which Aditya did not answer but packed his stuff

"Now where are we going?!" Vineeth asked

"Not we! It's just me and of course to meet Shreya" Aditya said

"How dare you bloody rascals! You dragged me to that dirty pub every night and now you leave me like this?" Vineeth yelled

"You know I'll keep Shreya busy for at least half an hour," Adhi said

"So?"

"Which means Sri will be alone and Free do your thing!" Aditya said and passed him his phone before leaving the office.

Vineeth stood with a wide mouth watching him leave with his phone in his hand.
How the fuck did he know he was planning to text Sri????

Anyhow now that he had his phone in hand, he stared at Sri's profile picture for a long time before sending a "Hey Sri" text and immediately pushed his phone back into his pockets.

Here,  Shreya pushed another chocolate in her mouth when Rithvik patted her shoulders slightly and pointed at the entrance of the college.

Shreya legit felt herself choking cause Aditya stood there and no that was not the surprise factor it was just that he stood there in a cream tee and black sweatpants and leaning on his bike which Shreya was sure was brand new.

She looked at Rithvik and then looked around to find Sri only to realise she had gone to use the washroom.

"You go I'll tell Sri" Rithvik patted on her shoulders and Shreya nodded and walked towards him.

Aditya had to beg himself to look away from her at least to look cool but fuck! She had grabbed all his attention and he was sure he was staring at her with his mouth open.

As she walked closer, he took a minute to take in all her details. It was the same, she was in a blue dress with her hair free but just that she had just added a press-on nose pin and Aditya would swear he had no idea a nose pin would look this sexy.

"Hayee" he mumbled as his hand automatically went to his chest while she pushed a hair behind her ears and looked at him.

"You look different today!" She said and he smirked

"Is it?" He asked again with the same smirk

"Yes! You look smart in casuals! By the way, how did you come here" she asked

"I told you I'll come!" He said casually ignoring the compliment she gave as if it did not give him a smile that would last months.

"No not that! I didn't see your car here that's why I wondered how you came here!"Shreya said

"Also! I know you'll come for me" Shreya quickly added

His lips begged him to stretch a little but he was too adamant.

"I came in bike! " he said moving aside and showing off his brand new Royal blue Enfield bike

Shreya nodded and looked at him, and he pulled out an envelope

"  here" he said giving her the envelope

"What is it?" She asked opening the envelope and finding two tickets

"For you and Sri! To my hometown~ you know Tanjore? It's just a small festival is coming up and you know I would love you have you there" Aditya said

"But then I don't think so my family will allow me to"

"Think twice! Take your time and let me know tomorrow Shreya!" Aditya said as he walked backwards with his hand in his pocket.
