Chapter 09

AUTHOR's POV

"Sri I have no idea why you will pair a white top with a green pant. Are you possessed by Amrutha Aunty?"Shreya whispered and yelled at Sri who was busy looking through the clothes rack.

Bored of getting ignored by her friend Shreya pouted and looked around the store and went to the lipstick section and tried a few shades on her wrist.

It's been 2 days since Hemanth and Guru left aboard while all Sri did was look dull and looked like she would cry any moment if someone asked how she was doing.

Shreya has now somehow gotten used to people disappearing and appearing in her life so it took her less than a day to be okay with it.
She did feel lonely and felt like a part went missing since Guru left but She knew it was needed for their careers.

So to cheer sri up and also cheer herself up they went shopping at a mall.

She looked down through the shades of lipstick picked one up and looked up at the mirror only to find Aditya standing behind her, she immediately turned around only to see his broad chest in front of her.

Thanks to her height!

She looked at him and he immediately smiled at her

"Aditya " She called softly yet surprised by his sudden arrival.

Been two days since he dropped a message and Since then they have not left their phone down.

"What are you doing here?" She asked

"I- what will I do here? Shopping! Of course" Aditya said and Shreya looked around the store and found it ridiculous to find this tall muscular man fully dressed in a tailor-made expensive suit standing in a small store.

"Coincidence right?" She asked with a hint of mischief glint in her eyes

"Right" he  said missing the glint in her eyes

"done shopping?" She asked and he just nodded and looked at her trying to get rid of the lip-stains in her wrist.

"What's wrong?" he asked

"Just trying to get rid of this so that I can try new shades" Shreya said still trying to get rid of the stains

Adithya adjusted his coat sleeves and stretched his hand  in front of her

"You can try it on my hand," he said
She nodded cause she did not know how to respond and held his wrist and drew a few strokes of different colours.

Nothing special but damn Shreya would promise she felt her ears turn warm and red while her hands slightly shivered to hold his.
Her brain telling her to trance those veins in his wrist while all Shreya did was pretend like she was really into the lipsticks.

While she pretended, Aditya took his time to admire her. It was funny how he would have not minded killing someone who accidentally touched him but now left this girl to do whatever she wanted

He could feel her hands shiver a bit every time she held his while her teeth bit into her lower lip and her eyes stole glances at him.

" Oh, And the sweet little angel couldn't keep her eyes off the devil."

Aditya at this point was simply obsessed with her. Not just for her looks but her.

It was her who was driving him crazy! He still remembers her saving him. He loved the concern, the panic in her even when he was simply a stranger to her.

Shreya was a little too innocent and sensitive for the world but not dumb and weak! She was stronger than she thought she was and Aditya found it immediately with the way she behaved.

Here Sri looked at the pink top in her hands and could not help but think of Guru. She did miss him but she was unsure of how to express it because she was so used to locking it all up.

"Hey!" She heard a familiar voice but a male voice so she turned around and only then she realised Shreya had been missing for a few minutes now.

"Hey, Vineeth!" She said with a small smile and looked around the store to find Shreya and Aditya talking.

Sri knew it the minute she saw Vineeth in front of her that Aditya was here and somehow he would be talking to her friend.

"Sri I-I am sorry yaar" said Vineeth looking nervous his feet tapping on the ground

"Why?"

"It was me who called that day in the cafe! Hey not to irritate you but just that Aditya  and Shreya-" Before Vineeth could complete sri stopped him

"I know it was you, Vineeth! I also know your friend likes Shreya!" Sri said as she walked to the billing counter with the things she and Shreya purchased

Vineeth followed her quickly! He did not like the look on her face, her eyes looked tired and she somehow looked sad to him and for some reason, he didn't like it even a bit.

"Are you okay Sri?" He asked, to which she nodded

Sri turned towards Vineeth and smiled
"Thanks for asking tho" she added grabbed all the bags and started walking towards Shreya and Aditya.

"Should we wait till they are done or shall we just go?" Sri asked him as they walked

Vineeth honestly liked the idea and sound of how she said "we"! It made him feel something in his tummy.

"We shall just go! Also, let me help you with a few bags" he said and grabbed a few bags from her hand.

Sri did not refuse cause it was heavy.

Reaching their friends, Shreya immediately
Took a few bags from sri and looking at her Aditya could not stop but help them too.

"That's okay! We got this our friend Rithvik is on his way" Shreya said immediately

"Aye, aren't we your friends too? Chill Shreya" Vineeth  said as they started walking from the store

It was funny to watch these two men carrying shopping bags as Shreya and sri looked at each other and talked through eyes

As they went outside the mall! Shreya's college friend Rithvik stood with his bike and looking at them he greeted them and stood the bags

"Shall we go!?" Rithvik asked and Shreya nodded

"I- why bike? I mean I can drop you Shreya we come in the car more over there are bags too" Aditya said immediately.

"That's okay Aditya! Sri is going to meet her parents it is just me and bikes also I love bike rides " Shreya said and trust me when I say it was a hard nod for Aditya

Aditya regretted all the time he had a chance to buy a bike but he chose an expensive SUV instead. Now look a freaking bike won over him a car

"Alright! Tomorrow Aditya is arranging a lunch in his house to thank you Shreya! You should join us along with sri too of course" Vineeth said and Aditya looked at Vineeth as if he was hearing this plan for the first time which was true tho.

Vineeth had come up with this plan just now!

"I don't think I'll join you guys! I have some work" Sri said and Shreya sighed and looked at Aditya and looked at like she wanted to say something so he immediately bent down a little

"Guru our friend left of country and sri is feeling low without him" Shreya whispered in his ears for Aditya this information was nothing but the fact Shreya wanted to share and talk to him made him somewhat satisfied.
