Chapter 6 - What are you?
Everyone stared.
Anisa couldn't stop shaking, feeling everyone's eyes on her while looking at herself in the pond.
What's...going on?!
"Anisa, what is this?" Bodolf growled. He didn't like this at all, she looked like...a hybrid. Having the stature of a Midday yet sharing appearance of the hated Midnights.
"I-I don't know!" Anisa managed to stutter out, still taking in her appearance with thoughts racing through her mind as she panicked. "What do we do Bodolf?" Dash asked his leader. He looked at Anisa in confusion yet...he felt hatred. Seeing her sharing an appearance with the one thing he hates and what gave him his scar.
Oh course...she gets it from her hideous father of her's!
He growled in frustration, looking at Bodolf for answers while Shella and Athena glanced in amazement.
"Anisa, come!" She listened to her grandfather and walked through the pack of Lycanroc, her hairs standing on end seeing the alpha's expression. His jaw clenched and his eyes glaring daggers in her direction.
"You know the rules...don't you Anisa?" She nodded slightly. "Dad! You can't! She's not a Midnight s-"
"I don't know what she is! That's why we can't have her! For all we know, she could be a danger to us all!" Bodolf shouted, cutting his daughter's pleads off.
"Bodolf...she's our granddaughter...she won't last long out there." Athena tried to convince her mate. All this time, the old woman had seen that Bodolf had always been worried of what might become of his little granddaughter, hope and praying for her not to become what her father is.
Sometimes...it's just not enough.
"I'm sorry Anisa, Shella...and Athena but...the unknown have never belonged in our pack. We don't know what you are Anisa, and that can endanger us all...now go!" Anisa hung her head low, hearing her mother and grandmother beg and beg for their little girl to stay but Bodolf just refused.
Yet...his eyes held regret once Anisa started to make her way to the woods, only looking back one last time and the pack, seeing fear yet sorrow before Anisa disappeared into the trees.
"How...how could you?! Shella screamed, still staring in the direction Anisa went, "How could you do this to your own family?!" She continued to scream, glaring at her father with a burst of anger.
"She's your granddaughter! Yet you banished her all because of the pack's stupi-"
"Then maybe you should of listened to me many years ago! None of this would of happend if you disobeyed my orders!" Bodolf shouted. Shocking his daughter and Athena that he even brought the subject up.
He's always hated what his daughter did...that's why he wanted so badly to forget and make sure it never happens again.
Never let her make another mistake...
"You don't know nothing about him...AND YOU NEVER WILL BECAUSE YOU'RE TOO AFRAID!!!" Her throat began to sore from all the screaming but Shella couldn't stop.
Andrew quietly snuck away, making sure Dash didn't see him. From in the trees he could still hear the cries Shella made, still shouting at her father as she started to tear up.
"Anisa!"
The orange Lycanroc stopped in her tracks to see Andrew running up to her, holding something in his jaw. "Why...why are you here?" She whispered. Hearing the cries of her mother caused a pain in her heart, knowing she couldn't do anything now due to her banishment.
It hurts...it hurts too much...
I'm sorry...to all of you...for even existing...
"I...I j-just wanted to give you something...before you leave..." Andrew stuttered, still unsure on how to feel towards his now hybrid friend. Carefully, he tied the small gift around her neck, letting the the orb shine in the setting sun, the sun and the moon crossing over within the orb of the neckless.
"Thank you Andrew...where did you get it?" He ruffled his neck fur.
"I...kinda found it buried somewhere in the woods...I cleaned it up and planned on giving it you today but...things obviously didn't go to plan with what happend..." Andrew explained.
"Thanks Andrew...it's beautiful but...it's best if you get back now, it'll be dark soon and if you get caught talking to me...who knows why Bodolf will do..." He sighed, looking back from where he came.
"Anisa...promise me...no, promise me and your family to stay safe...and maybe return one day?" Anisa nodded, but still unsure.
If they don't accept me now...how will they accept me then?
With one finally goodbye, Andrew ran off back to the pack, Shella's screeching had already cooled of after her father just started to ignore everything she was saying.
Come back soon Anisa...I don't want the same thing happen again...

"Anisa!" Amara pounced out of the bushes at the unsuspecting Lycanroc and knocked her over, bringing her into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry for what happend! I'll go tell them what's for! They done banish my friend like that!" She shouted which only caused Anisa to giggle a bit before she looked off into the sky.
"I love that you want to help Amara but there's nothing you can do...I mean just look at me! I'm a stupid hybrid! A Pokemon that went wrong!" Anisa cried. Feeling like she doesnt belong with who she thought was family made her question...why was she here? Why was she alive?
Did she deserve to be here if she was nothing but a Pokemon to fear?
"Anisa, you're not on your own remember? Like I said before, look at me! I'm just like you. I'm different and others judge me for that but it can't be helped. We were born this way and we should make the best of it!" Amara smiled in understanding.
"You're beautiful okay!" Anisa giggled again at her friend's little complement, sitting up and hugging her back.
"Thanks Amara, you're quite the pretty white fox yourself." Amara messed with her yellow flower and smiled, happy that she had someone she could talk to on a personal level with understanding.
"You know what Anisa, you're like...a Dusk Lycanroc! With your green eyes and orange fur! Plus, you did evolve at dusk after all...and dusk is really pretty with it orange colour!" Anisa nodded in approval.
"Yeah...I like that, I'm not a Midday...or a Midnight! I'm a Dusk Lycanroc!" She shouted.
"With pretty orange fur!" Amara giggled.
"With pretty orange fur." Anisa repeated, joining her friend in the giggles.
Dusk Lycanroc...Amara you're a smart cookie.
