Nikolina spent most of her morning completing studies for school. She was excited about the Quidditch game and she knew Viktor would be the one to catch the snitch and end the game.

When it was time for Viktor to head for the arena, his voice could be heard clearly above the chaos of the campsites.

"Няма да ви позволя да подтикнете към решение приятелите си с мен!(I will not let you decide my friends for me!)" Came his voice, obviously irritated by something. He had slipped back into Bulgarian which told her who he was arguing with.

"Тя е разсейване! Никой! Вие трябва да се фокусирате върху този ден!(She is a distraction! A nobody! You must focus on this day!)" Professor Karkaroff  shouted back.

She heard no more of their argument because she knew what was going to happen. Karkaroff was not going to let Viktor come and get her.

Despite this, to her surprise, Viktor came into her tent fuming.

"Lina, ve must go," he said, his expression softening as he turned to her.

"Are you alright?" Nikolina asked.

"I vill be fine," he smiled, "as long as you vill be there to cheer me on."

When they reached the arena, there arms linked, her carrying his broom and he with his robes across his other arm, she noticed that Karkaroff glared at her.

"Do not be vorried about the headmaster. I put him in his place this morning." The reassurance from her friend was greatly welcomed.

He led her to her seat in the Minister's box where currently she was the only one.

"Our Minister vill be here as vill the Minister of Magic for England. They vill each haff a guest I believe, but you vere the first guest allowed,"

"Thank you so much Viktor," she said, hugging him. "You vill be great, I know it."

After Viktor left, she was alone for quite awhile. She watched both teams warm up and Viktor flew by to wave at her every now and then but he was no more than a blur unless she used her Omnioculars.

When the team disappeared for the crowds to be let in, she replayed the smiles he gave her again and again. He had made it to the World Cup. Now she just hoped he would complete his dream and end the game himself.

She was at first surprised to hear voices approaching her seat, but when she looked up,  she recognized her Minister of Magic. He seemed to be with another man, a Brit, who was preforming some sort of charades act, which was curious, because the Minister spoke English quite well.

"Who is this?" Other man asked, noticing Nikolina. She inwardly groaned as Karkaroff stepped forward.

"Minister Fudge, this is Nikolina Tedora, friend to Viktor Krum. He wanted her to have a nice seat," the headmaster told the Brit.

"Ah, very well, the honored player brought a friend!" Fudge exclaimed.

Nikolina turned red as all the attention was focused on her, but when her Minister offered her a hand to shake, she stood at attention and timidly took his hand.

"Приятели са нещо добро за един човек да има. Вие трябва да го подкрепят, дори в вашия трудни времена, където тя може да се чувствам като всичко е загубено.(Friends are a good thing for a person to have. You should support him well, even in your difficult times where it may feel like all is lost.)" The Bulgarian Minister told her, holding one of her hands in both of his. Karkaroff's expression soured at the exchange, but Nikolina's confidence soared. She nodded several times very quickly to him before returning to her seat.

Suddenly, a younger boy with platinum blond hair sat beside her, and his parents on the other side of him.

"Hello, I'm Draco Malfoy," the boy said. "I heard that you are friends with Viktor Krum."

"Yes, I am," she said softly.

"Well, I think we could get along very well. Do you think you could get his autograph for me?"

"Draco!" His mother exclaimed, appalled at her son's manners.

"I vill try..." Nikolina told the boy. She didn't mind, but Viktor might.

She didn't talk to anyone for the rest of the match. She simply followed her friend with her Omnioculars.

When he caught the snitch she was so happy for him and after he did a few laps around the arena and the focus was no longer on him for catching the snitch but on the Irish for winning, he flew up to where she was sitting and gave her a one armed hug.

After the crowd disappated, Nikolina made her way to the locker room where she knew Viktor would be waiting for her.

The rest of the team had left already so it would be just them and no one to tease them.

"You vere amazing Viktor!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms around him.

"I did it, my Lina, I vos the one to end the game!" He wrapped his arms around her and lifted her off the ground, spinning her around.

"There vos a boy beside me, she said, "and he vonts your autograph."

"You vill probably never see him again. I vill not vorry about it."

After taking his things to his tent, they walked around the campsites,  arm in arm, talking and laughing about the game. As they passed one tent they heard:

Viktor, I love you!
Viktor, I do!
When we're apart my heart beats only for you!

Nikolina just kind of stared at the tent, wondering who in the world was singing that. Viktor chuckled at her reaction and pulled her closer to him as they walked, an arm around her shoulders, and she put an arm around her waist.

She was secretly hoping the night would never end.

And then suddenly it did, in screams and fire.
