For a few days, Mrs. Weasley kept everyone, including Nikolina, busy with cleaning up the house. While the others were all occupied with the more difficult, dirtier tasks, Mrs. Weasley had Nikolina tending to the fine dishes and other decorations that they had found around the house. She had come to realize that the Bulgarian girl paid immense attention to detail.

As Nikolina sat and polished the silverware that Mrs. Weasley had brought to her, the Bulgarian's thoughts drifted to Viktor Krum.

She wondered how he was coping with her departure. She hoped he would be as happy as she was... or at least as happy as she could be without her long time best friend by her side. But she had her George.

The thought of the red-haired twin brought a smile to her face. He was a lovely person and he loved her very much, she could tell. And she felt the same for him. He often surprised her with gifts of flowers and by sneaking up behind her to hug her.

He was extremely affectionate, sometimes overly so, she thought, but she loved him all the same. Then, the regretful thought crossed her mind that she had not had any time to herself of late. She was a very introverted person, and being surrounded by so many people was... exhausting, to say the least.

As she completed her thought, Mrs. Weasley had returned to the kitchen with a fine silver tea set.

"If you vould not mind," the Bulgarian said. "Mrs. Veasley, I vould like to take a valk. I vill not be long."

"I've told you, dear, call me Molly. But yes, go right ahead. Is everything alright?" The pleasant woman was concerned about the foreigner her son had fallen for, despite barely knowing the girl.

"I am fine, I assure you, I just wish for some fresh air."

She departed the headquarters without George noticing, which was quite the feat in her mind. He was extremely clingy, which she loved... most of the time. But she was very overwhelmed by all the people coming in and out of Grimmauld Place, and some of the people set her on edge. There was one man, a former Auror, that particularly freaked her out. Alastor Moody with his single glass eye... she felt he could see her thoughts when that eye turned to her.

And that scared her because she did not mean to think of Viktor so often. She was happy with George, happier than she ever thought she could be. But there was part of her that really missed her Viktor. She had loved him as well and now she wondered if maybe she still did.

But no one needed to know about these thoughts. She loved George and that was what was important and she would stay with him through anything. She was happy. Mostly.
