(Aoba Kuronuma x Reader) Fiancé Material

Aoba is personally my favorite character from DRRR!! so I wanna make this one extra long :3

"Alright class! Settle down!" Your homeroom teacher said as he entered the room. You sat there quietly as your other classmates went back to their seats. "So let's take attendance, if I call your name say "present" and if you have permission to go on the field trip!" He flipped through his attendance notebook and started. You stared out the window with a calm expression as he called your classmates names. "(L/n)!" He said, "Present, I have permission to go." He smiled at you as he scribbled something on his attendance notebook.

"(L/n)-san! You're going?" Aoba Kuronuma, the boy who sat next to you, asked. You glanced at him "Didn't you just hear me?" He frowned but smiled. "I'm glad you're going, we might even end up sitting next to each other on the bus ride there." He said as our homeroom teacher called his name. "Present, I've got permission to go!" He replied with a thumbs up in the air. Soon enough attendance was finished and we started discussing about the seat arrangement on the bus.

"Now since our number of boys and girls isn't equal, there will be a boy and girl pair at the back of the bus, who wants to volunteer?" Aobas hand shot straight up. "Yes, Kuronuma?" "(L/n)-san and I will volunteer!" Your eyes widened as he wrapped his arms around your shoulders. "Alright!" The homeroom teacher smiled brightly as he scribbled down on his notebook. You pushed him off as he looked at you with a confused look. "I didn't agree to that." "Aw come on (L/n)-san it'll be fun!" "F-Fine..." You slumped down in your seat with cheeks red as a tomato.

After school you always head straight home. You had high grades so you didn't need to go to cram school. You didn't have much friends so you didn't have to hang out after school like the others. It was just you, your mom, and your studies. You sighed as you took out your shoes from your shoe locker.

"(L/n)-san!" Aobas voice echoed through the halls of Raira Academy. "What do you wa-" He interrupted you as he handed you a pink envelope. "P-Please read this..." He quickly stuttered before getting his shoes out from his locker which was right next to yours and leaving. You looked at the letter, it said "To: (F/n) (L/n) From: Aoba Kuronuma" and had a little heart sticker that sealed it. "This better be something different." You muttered as you stuffed it in your bag and put on your shoes and left.

On your way home you had to walk though the busy streets of Ikebukuro. You watched the people around you and held onto your bag, you never know when someone could just snatch it and take off. Finally you reached the slightly silent part of Ikebukuro where you lived. As you walked down your street you saw a familiar person. "Is that..." You whispered to yourself as you walked closer to him.

"Kuronuma-kun?" You were a few feet away from the blue haired teen. He turned around slowly, his cheeks were red as matte lipstick. "H-Hey...(L/n)-s-san!" He said nervously. "You live here too?" You asked him as he calmed down a  bit. "Y-Yeah..." He stared at the ground.

You placed your hand on his forehead, his cheeks got red again. "Are you okay? You seem pretty red." You took your hand away as he looked you into the eyes. "D-Did you read the letter yet?" "No...but I'll read it when I get home." "Okay...well I'll see you tomorrow...be sure to go to school early!" Aoba laughed a bit as you walked towards your house. "This is where you live?" Aoba stared at your house in surprise. "Yeah...why?" He pointed to the house next to yours, "I live there...I just moved." He had on a flustered expression.

"Well, nice to know we're neighbors, see ya!" You fished in your pocket for your house key and unlocked the door. Before you closed it you saw Aoba jumping around with a  happy look on his face. You laughed a bit as you closed the door. "I'm home!" "Ah! (F/n)! Thank god you're back so soon, can you please run to the Mori Market for me? We ran out of salt." My mother gave me an awkward smile as she handed me some money. "I'll go change first." She nodded as I quickly ran up the stairs and to my room.

My room was a normal one but it was too big for me. I insisted my mother and I should switch rooms since hers is smaller, but she said she likes the view from hers so she denied. As long as my mother was happy, I was happy. I changed into a pair of black shorts and a (f/c) t-shirt. I stuffed the money in my pocket and headed out the door, "I'm leaving!" I said before closing the door.

As I walked down the street I examined Aobas house. "Wonder who he lives with." I whispered to myself. After a few minutes I finally reached the market. "Salt...salt...salt." I kept repeating to myself as I entered. "Good evening Ms.(L/n)!" A familiar voice said behind me.

I turned around and saw Kazuhiko Mori, an employee who worked here at Mori Market, which his family owned. I laughed a bit as he smiled. "I told you, you can call me (F/n)." Kazuhiko and I were best friends since I moved to Ikebukuro. Sometimes he'd give me free stuff to win my heart. When we were in the 3rd grade he confessed his love for me and until today he's still in love with me.

"But that's not okay since we're not in a relationship." He gently elbowed me as I laughed. Suddenly someone from behind wrapped their arms around my waist and pulled me away from Kazuhiko. "G-Get away from me!" I screamed as I escaped from his arms. I saw the blue hair and brown eyes and stood there in surprise. "A-Aoba?" "H-Hey...(L/n)-san..." His cheeks were red as tomatoes.

I bought the salt and walked out of the market as fast as I could. "(L/n)-san! W-Wait!" Aoba rushed out and went after me. "What the? Let go!" I yelled as he grabbed my arm. "I'm sorry!" "Sorry? I was talking to my best friend! What's so wrong with that? And why did you pull me away?!" I yanked my arm away and kept walking. "I was jealous!" He yelled, I paused were I was. "I was jealous because I want to be able to talk to you that easily...I want to be your best friend...even more." He stared at me as I kept walking away.

"Stupid Aoba..." I muttered as I opened the door. "I'm home." I added. My mother came rushing downstairs. "Welcome back dear. Why the angry face?" "Some classmate of mine pulled me away from talking to Kazuhiko. I got mad and walked out but he ended up chasing me and told me that he was jealous of Kazuhiko." I handed her the salt as she listened to me with a firm concerned look. "Sit down, dinner's ready." She patted my back and kissed my forehead as I sat down at the already prepared table.

"Thank you for the meal!" We said in unison before digging in. "Don't worry about him, boys are really like that." She said reassuringly, breaking the silence. "He gave me a love letter before I left school." I stared at my bowl of rice. "Oh really now? What's his name?" She had on a mischievous smile. "Aoba Kuronuma..." "K-Kuronuma?" She asked with a hint of fear in her voice, "Ye-" She shot up out of her seat and ran towards the telephone.

After a few seconds my mother was talking to someone on the telephone. "Hello? Is this the Kuronumas? Yes I am can I talk to (Aobas dad) Kuronuma?" There was a silence but then suddenly she started talking again. "Your son has given my daughter a love letter, do you think it's time?" My eyes widened and I almost chocked on my rice. "Hah! Okay, when will we schedule the wedding?" My life snapped into two. "W-Wedding?" I muttered, staring at the table, "That sounds magnificent! I'll meet up with (Aobas mom) this Saturday to arrange and finalize the details!" She said.

"M-Mom?" I said as she walked back into the kitchen. "(F/n) we need to talk about something important, she sat down back at her seat. "You know that I've been working for a (whatever) company, right?" I nodded. "Well you see, the boy who gave you that letter belongs to the family that owns that company. I'm good friends with his dad, the owner of the company, and we once talked about you and Aoba getting married so that my salary could increase from 800 yen a week to 500,000 yen a week!" Her expression was excited yet determined. All I did was sit there in silence. (TOP REFERENCE HAHA XD)

"Are you serious? Does he know about this?" I asked as I collected myself. "Yep! He sure does." I finished my food and went upstairs without saying another word. "(F/n)? Goodnight?" My mother said as I closed my bedroom door. I walked towards my bet but tripped over my schoolbag and fell flat on my face. "AAAHH!" I yelled, rolling around on the floor.

I accidentally kicked my schoolbag and Aobas letter fell out. I got up and picked it up. "Dammit Aoba." I muttered as I opened the letter and began reading. My eyes skimmed over it and my cheeks went instantly red as I saw the words "I love you so much" and "Please go out with me".  But the butterflies in my stomach went away as I read the last sentences.

"Our parents are actually planning to get us married. Even my older brother agrees. But that's not the reason I fell for you. I fell for you because you make me smile like no other girl could. And us getting married would be a dream come true for me. Anyways, I hope I can get your response soon.

                                                                                                                                               Yours Truly,

                                                                                                                                         Aoba Kuronuma"

I sat there and stared at the letter. "I can't believe this." I thought to myself. Was I really going to get married to this guy? I took a glance the wall clock. It was late, and since tomorrow was our field trip, I had to sleep early.

Before I slept I made sure all of my clothes were ready. My class was going on a four day and three night stay at some hot spring resort in Shizuoka. "Alright." Everything was in check so I laid down on my bed and dozed off. The next day I woke up at 4 AM and took a shower while my mother cooked my breakfast. I don't want to make her sad after all the things she's done for me.

"Good morning (F/n)." She smiled and kissed my cheek as I sat down to eat. My bags were at the doorway and the moon was still out. "About last night...I'm sorry it was so sudden...I was just really excited." I smiled up at her and said "It's fine, and I'll marry him...if that's what makes you happy." Her eyes widened in surprise. "Thank you (F/n)!" She jumped for joy and hugged me as I finished my meal. Suddenly my cellphone rang from my pocket.

"Hello?" "(L/n)-san?" "A-Aoba? Where did you get my number?" "Hehe sorry...your mom told my father your number so he could give it to me." I glanced at my mom who gave me an awkward smile. "So, why'd you call?" "Do you mind if I pick you up? Let's go to school together." He sounded like a kid at an amusement park. "O-Okay...I'll wait outside." "Yay!" I ended the call before he could say more. "That was Aoba?" "Yeah...you gave him my number." "Hehehe." She giggled as I shook my head and smiled. I put my dishes in the sink and walked towards the door.

"You'll be gone for four days, right?" My mother had a worried tone. "Yeah...but don't worry, I'll bring you back some fruit from there." I said as I kissed her on the cheek, waving goodbye. "Text me when you get there, okay?" I nodded as she waved goodbye and closed the door. I walked towards the front of my yard and waited for Aoba. Finally I heard the guy say his goodbyes to his family and walk over my way.

"Good morning (L/n)-san." He said, he really did sound like a kid. "Good morning." I gave him a quick smile as he pulled the strap of his bag over his head and onto his shoulder. "Oh! Wait! I have something for you." He fished something out of his jean pocket. He went behind me and put something silver around my neck. "There you go." He said returning to my side.

I looked down and saw a silver (fave animal) charm on a silver chain. My heart beat faster than usual at the sight of it. "It's a (fave animal)! Holy mackerel!" I couldn't stop jumping around and thanking him. "I figured you liked (fave animal)s so much because of all the (fave animal) posters on your bedroom walls." I stopped and looked at him. "How..." "Our rooms have windows, and their right next to each other." He laughed as my cheeks went red.

"Hey look, (F/n)!" Aoba pointed up at the sky and all we saw were some of the tops of the several skyscrapers in Ikebukuro and exactly two stars. "They're just like us, those two stars." He smiled up at the sky and smiled back at me. I stared at him but eventually smiled back. "Come on we'll be late." I took his hand and walked on. He didn't know it but I was smiling so much at that moment.

AOBAS P.O.V.

Suddenly (F/n) took my hand and walked. I blushed at the warmness of her hand. Now that I think about it, no other girl has ever made me feel this way. Either they'd be grossed out or too attached. (F/n) was perfect, and so I decided that today would be the day.

After a short walk we finally made it to the academy. I saw a few of our classmates huddled up in a circle. One of the boys popped his head out of the circle and saw (F/n) and I walking together hand in hand. "OOHH!! Everyone take a look at the new couple!" He screamed, everyone's attention went to us. (F/n) blushed and let go quickly, only making our classmates squeal in excitement.

READERS P.O.V.

After having almost all of my classmates see Aoba and I hold hands, I don't know how I was going to live. Aobas normal group of friends came up to him and kept saying stuff like "you two are together now?" or "are you serious?". I took a seat at a bench right behind my classmate. I stared down at my hand, specifically the one I used to hold his. I put it up to my face and smelled it, it smelled like strawberries.

"Alright, good morning everyone!" Our homeroom teacher approached the group, I decided to stand up and join them. Aoba went near me and smiled as he stood next to me. Now that I realize it, Aoba is the only guy who has ever stuck to my side like this. And also, I'm shorter than him. Dammit.

"I'm glad to see that everyone's so lively this morning, I bet you're all excited!" The homeroom teacher said, wearing his Hawaiian floral shirt and sunglasses, even if they sun hasn't rose. Suddenly a bus pulled up in front of our group. The bus driver came out and greeted us. "Alright! Since all of us aren't here yet, the partners who are already here please go onto the bus now, you know you're seating arrangement." He said as some of my classmates started searching for their partner. Aoba looked down at me and smiled.

"Looks like I've already found her." He whispered and slowly intertwined our fingers together. I looked at our hand for a moment and smiled up at him. "Yep, I've found him too." I gladly returned his feelings. Not only was it for the sake of my mothers happiness, but I actually liked him back, which was rare, because I didn't fall this easily for guys.  Aoba blushed and stared at the ground as I laughed.

As we got onto the bus, our homeroom teacher saw our hands connected. "Well, seems like we have a new couple of lovebirds." He teased. "Not too bad yourself old geezer." Aoba laughed at his crocs with socks (pls do not feel offended by this, I personally find it funny pls spare me). The homeroom teacher flicked Aobas forehead and muttered "get on the bus". I found our seats and pointed to them, which were at the back of the bus.

Soon enough all of our classmates were all in the bus. "You want some?" Aoba said with a stick of Pocky in his mouth, offering me a bit from it. I blushed and shook my head, only to receive a cute laugh from him. Eventually he almost chocked on the Pocky. And that made me laugh too.

"Alright, everyone is here so now, we shall start our journey!" Our classmates cheered and the homeroom teacher danced around in excitement. "Have you ever been to Shizuoka before?" Aoba asked, leaning his head on my shoulder. "Yeah, but as a little kid, hey, you'll get neck pains if you do that." I pushed his head off and rested mine on his shoulder. Aoba laughed and leaned back into his seat. The bus started moving  as our classmates cheered.

On the way there we saw some landmarks and such. A few of my classmates got carsick so we had to take a quick stop at a gas station. Aoba slept until we were halfway there. "Woah...are we there yet?" He asked. He looked like a child, a cute one.

"Hehe not yet." I laughed as he rubbed his eyes. "What's so funny?" He asked. "Nothing, you look like a child when you sleep and wake up." "Oh really?" He smirked and took out his cellphone. "Take a look, my darling." He showed me a picture of me sleeping in my room, my hair was messy and I was drooling. "Oy delete that!" I  said while trying to get his phone.

"I can't believe you have that picture." I muttered. "You're actually cute when you sleep." "Whatever." My cheeks went hot as I stared out of the window. "Is everyone awake? We're almost there!" Our homeroom teacher announced, his voice echoed through the speakers of the bus. A few of my classmates cheered and whistled in excitement. Even I was excited too.

~Time Skip~

We all got off the bus when we arrived at the hot spring resort. I stood there in my (f/c) sun dress that went below my knees and Aoba wore his normal blue shirt, pants and long jacket. He was skinny and very attractive which made me blush instantly if I took a head to toe look at him. First, we settled in our rooms. Since each room was small and for one pair, Aoba and I had to share a room.

"You've got to be kidding me." I muttered as Aoba and Is room. "This was the one that we were assigned to." Aoba set his bag down in the corner of the room. I set my bag beside his and sighed. "What's wrong?" He said as he hugged me from behind. "Nothing...I just kind of miss my mom." I laughed a bit as he rested his chin on my head.

Suddenly our homeroom teacher knocked on our door and told us that all the students should get ready to take their baths. "This is my first time at a hot spring." I said, my voice full of hope. "Too bad we can't take a bath together." He teased pinching my blushing cheeks. I grabbed one of the provided towels which were placed on the two beds. "Let's go."  said in a cheerful voice as Aoba grabbed a towel and followed me.

We walked towards the baths and I went in the female one as he went in the male one. "(F/n)!" One of the girls called. It was my classmate Emiko. Emiko was known for being the shortest girl in our class yet the cutest. "What's up?" I said nervously.

"Let's wash each others hair!" She sounded like a little girl. "Sure..." I got undressed and so did Emiko. None of the girls in my class usually talked to me. I wrapped my towel around me but then suddenly Emiko took it off. "We're all girls here, (F/n)! No need to hide yourself." She said in an excited tone.

The steam from the hot spring lurked around my other classmates. Emiko started washing my hair and she seemed really excited about it. "Your skin in soft, (F/n)! And your boobs!" She fondeled with them, making me yelp in surprise. I eventually managed to escape Emiko and hide in the hot spring. I sighed as soaked in the warm water.

After we were done with our baths we ate dinner at the main hall. There were several tables for each pair. "(F/n)!" Aoba surprised me from behind and laughed. "H-Hey..." I said sheepishly as I sat down at Aoba and Is assigned table. There were waiters and waitresses who served us our meal.

"Thank you for this meal!" We all said in unison as we dug in. The food was delicious and the jokes our homeroom teacher was saying made us all laugh. "(F/n), why aren't you eating your (least fave food)?" Aoba said while poking at it. "You can have it if you want...I don't really like (least fave food)." I said while eating my (fave food). "Aaaaahh" Aoba said while opening his mouth.

"What?" "Come on, feed it to me!" My cheeks went red. "N-No..." I looked away in embarrassment. "Come on (F/n) you know you want to!" Some of Aobas friends said from behind us. I shook my head at them as they gave us a sly smirk. "Ooh everyone! Take pictures! The new couple is in action!" The homeroom teacher pointed to Aoba and I, everyone's attention went to us.

I couldn't take it anymore, this was too embarrassing. I stood up and ran away to the rooms. "(F/n)! Wait!" Aoba said as he quickly finished his food and ran after me. "Look at what you guys did! (F/n) doesn't like too much attention!!" Aoba yelled at our classmates who were now just staring in fear. Aoba followed me to the rooms while everyone started muttering to their partners.

"That's the first time I've seen him act and talk like that."

"He must really love (L/n)-san then."

"Then this is the first time he's actually loved or liked a girl..."

AOBAS P.O.V

I knocked on the door before opening it. "(F/n)? You in here?" No response. I turned on the light and saw (F/n) shaking in her bed. "Hey...what's wrong?" I said as I closed the door behind me and sitting next to her on her bed. "Go away." She muttered before sneezing.

"No...I'm not leaving you alone. I promised to stay by your side no matter what." She stayed quiet. "It's what married people do." "We're not married idiot." "Not yet." I replied, pulling the blanket away from her. "H-Hey!" She tried to pull it back but I pulled it further. I didn't know what I was doing but I climbed up on top of her while on all fours. Her eyes were surrounded by a shade of pink from crying.

"Woops...wrong position." I said awkwardly as I got off her and stood beside the bed. I kneeled down on floor as she sat upright. "I haven't fully got to know you, but ever since the Entrance Ceremony I always had my eyes on you. That concern turned into love and now that are parents are going to get us married it's like I'm dreaming. After we graduate is when we're supposed to get married, according to my parents. but I want to propose to you properly. I'm sorry for that embarrassing moment earlier. I promise it won't ever happen again with me around. I'll protect you (F/n). (F/n) (L/n)...soon to be (F/n) Kuronuma. So please, (F/n), for our family and us. Will you marry me?" I opened the black velvet box I had hidden in my pocket the whole time. She gasped at the sight of the (whatever kind of ring you want) ring inside the box. I saw some tears escape her pink stained eyelids.

"Yes! I do! I'll marry you!" She said as she hugged me and buried her face in my chest. I felt so happy as her arms got tighter around my torso. I rested my chin on her head and wrapped my arms around her. "You okay? You seem quite quiet." I tried to pull away and look at her face but she stayed still. Suddenly her weight pulled me to the side and we were about to fall "(F/n)? (F-F/N!)" I panicked before we landed on her bed with a "thud".

"Um..." I said awkwardly. "No...stay..." She whispered, hugging me tighter. It was quiet and a perfect moment. "(F/n)..." I whispered, she looked up. "Wha-" I cut her words off with a kiss as we both closed our eyes.

Damn that was long XD For me, Aoba is freaking irresistible >:3 He's such a cutie :3 heehee XD *author-chan fangirls*
