Today was the day, hiyori's first day! She had set her alarm early cause she was too excited to sleep, as soon as it went off, she jumped out and ran for the shower, after the shower She changed into my uniform, the stared at herself in the mirror

Just then she heard a knock at my door " come in" she called out, the door opened revealing Celty, she pulled out her pda and typed "you look so cute!" She gushed, which Hiyori blushed " t-thank you"

" come on, breakfast is ready" she said, then walked out, Hiyori grabbed my bag and walked to the dinning room, where shinra was eating, when he saw her, a blush appeared on his face ' oh my gosh! she looks so cute!!! That miniskirt!' Meanwhile both Celty had Hiyori were giving him a look " errr...shinra? You there?" Hiyori asked, waving her hand in front of his face, he finally snapped out of it " y-yeah! All's good!" He laughed nervously " you were checking her out" celty typed, which shinra burst in surprise " n-no I wasn't!" He exclaimed, not know a small trail slipping down his nose" then why is your nose bleeding?" Celty asked, he immediately panicked

Hiyori felt a little awkward, standing in between of the argument" well while you guys are arguing, I'm gonna grab my toast and get going" she said " you need a ride?" Celty asked " nah, it's fine" Hiyori waved, walking over to her toast, and running for the door " see ya later!" She yelled, then left the apartment

Hiyori was running down the street " pardon me!" She yelled when she almost bumped into someone, just when she was about to turn the corner she and someone bumped into each other " ow, that's going to hurt" she then looked up and saw it was the girl with the glasses " oh hey! Anri!!" Hiyori exlcimaed in a happy tone " hello Hiyori, nice to see you again" anri smiled, while Hiyori helped her up " sorry I bumped into you, I was in a hurry" Hiyori smiled sheepishly " it's okay, guess I was too" she replied, then asked " you want to walk to school together?" Hiyori smiled and nodded " sure"

At raira academy

During the ceremony, mikado sat by himself in the crowd, the principle began his speech "First congratulate everybody, and welcome you to our school these are challenging times forJapan we're seeing the birth rate decline and our middle-classes disappear" mikado looked and saw masaomi not to far away from him, who gave him a smile which he returned, the turned and saw Hiyori sitting next to anri, who were both staring forward with plain expressions "but when I look at your faces I know the future of our country is not in any danger, in fact I see in every submit a brighter future for us all" Hiyori noticed anri look away from the principle and look towards their left, She looked and saw a male teacher quickly look away

That creep in the middle

' was he watchin anri?!' Hiyori looked back to her and she gave a reassuring smile, then turned back to the principles speech

Class 1- a

Hiyori was in a class with both mikado and anri, except masaomi, he was in a different class, class 1 b while they were in 1 a, the teacher the called out every students names so they could greet the class, he then came upon mikado's, who stood up and said "Mikado ryugamine" he was a bit shy so that's all he said, the names kept being called out, then it was anri's turn "Anri sonohara, it's nice to meet you" she bowed her head, after a few more students the teacher then came upon hiyori's name, she stood up "Hiyori isana, let's have a fun year" she smiled bright, loads of students gawked, one even wolf whistled when looking at the pretty girl, she then sat down, the teacher continued then came across a girls name. "Urrr, Harima, is mika harima here today?" Hiyori noticed the sad look on anri's face" Okay" the door then opened catching the whole class including the teachers attention, a boy with with short spiky brown hair

" oh, I see we have our first tardy, We were just doing introductions and lightness with your name" the teacher said "Seji yagiri, it's nice to meet all of you " seji greeted but in a more monotone voice ' huh? That sounds familiar' Hiyori thought "Thank you saji, please take your seat and we'll move on" the teacher said "No sir" which surprised the teacher " listen I just wanna say I won't be at school for a while, well actually I'll never be back, I just came to let you know goodbye sir" seji turned to leave "Hold on a second saji, you can't mean it" the teacher exclaimed "I'm not joking sir, I have my reasons, this is something very important to me, I've got to go I can't waste any more time with you people, goodbye sir" seji then left the room "Seji! Wait please just hold on a second" the teacher hurried after him

Time skip
Lunch time

The teacher came back but without seji, and continued the lesson, after that both Hiyori and anri decided to hang out together, when they walked through the corridor, loads of boys were looking towards Hiyori, checking her out, the two then made it to the roof where they decided to eat their lunch " hey anri, I hope this doesn't cause you any distress but, do you know mika harima?" She noticed anri stiffen ' I'm right aren't I?' She thought " w-we used to be best friends...till she disappeared" this surprised Hiyori " disappeared? Why hasn't she been found yet?" She asked " she sent me and her family a text saying she was going to take a quick trip, her heart got broken" anri explained " was it with seji?" Hiyori asked which anri nodded " wow that sucks, but I'm not so sure she'd be gone for a long time over a heart break" Hiyori looks up at the sky " well you know a bit about me, tell me about yourself " anri says which Hiyori gives a questioning look " myself?" She nodded, Hiyori looked back up " there's not much to tell, I live in an apartment not far from here with my two roommates, I work as a waitress at Russian sushi"

" you work?" Anri  asks a little surprised " yep, it's my way of repaying my two friends for all they've done for me, and for getting me into this school" Hiyori smiles " what about your family?" Hiyori's smile dropped when anri asked " I...don't really have any memories of my previous Life, i couldn't even remember my real name, I just got a new name" she said, which shocked anri " I'm so sorry" she said, which Hiyori  shook her head " it's fine, I'm not even a little bit upset, I'm actually happy" Hiyori smiled, the two continued to talk about each other, and they eventually became good friends

Hiyori pov

On the way back to class, I recognised that teacher in the hallway from the ceremony, the same one the stared at anri, I noticed anri's expression " just hide on my left" I said, which she nodded, we walked past him and the other teacher he was having a conversation with, I noticed he looked in my direction, eyeing me from head to toe ' pervert' I thought but atleast he wasn't staring and harassing anri, we finally made it to our class, anri finally breathing a sigh of relief " thank you for that"

" no worry's, and hey if you want, would you like to hand out after school?" I asked, which her eyes lit up " I would like that" she said

After school no ones pov

As the two walked next to each other, anri saw seji " if you want you can ask him about mika" Hiyori said, he noticed the two and tried to walk away but anri still asked, walking up to him grabbing his arm, Hiyori turned them out while thinking "please wait! Seji are you sure you don't know anything" anri asked "Leave me alone" seji pulled his arm back "But listen she even missed the first day of school" anri said "I said I don't know anything!" Seji yelled, running off"Wait hold on!-"" Hello?" Anri's pleads was cut off, the two girls turned and saw masaomi and mikado"Hey you two good down there" masaomi asked, anri just bows and motions for Hiyori to follow her, Hiyori smiles waving then runs after anri "I wonder what that's about" mikado wondered out loud "She totally wants me" masaomi grinned sighing  "Huh?" Mikado asked "I'm talking about Hiyori, she had a crush on me, but she's afraid of all the danger and risk a guy like me brings to the table oh yeah I'm right" masaomi grinned cheekily while mikado gave him a look  "Can you speak a language that I know too?" He deadpanned

Meanwhile the other two getting to know each other more, eventually it was time for them to split ways, Hiyori walked back home " Hiyori!" She suddenly heard someone call out her name, she turned and saw it was shinra " hey, what's up?" She asked " nothing really, just finished work, what about you?" He asked as the two walked back to the apartment " I still have work in a few minutes, I'm gonna hurry and get dressed so I can get there" she explained " awww! And I was hoping we could spend some time together!" He whinned " haha, yeah no, not with that pervert mind of yours" Hiyori grinned, which he pouted " Celty's taught you too much" Hiyori started giggling

The two finally made it back, Hiyori quickly rushing to her room to get dressed, then hurrying to work, biding shinra goodbye from the front door since she was in a hurry

Time skip

Hiyori finally made it to Russian sushi, where she saw Simon as usual, handing out flyers, or atLeast trying to " hi Simon" she greeted, Which he smiled " Hiyori! You coming to work?" he asked which she nodded " I better get inside, bye Simon" she waved goodbye which he returned " bye"

Hiyori walked in and to her surprise, masaomi and mikado were there sitting at a table, she then turned her attention to Denis cutting fish " hey Denis" she greeted " hello Hiyori, I left your uniform hanging on in your locker" he said " thanks" she smiled, walking to her locker in the back

When she came out she started taking orders, getting a couple of looks from the men sitting inside, more likely pervy looks ' why me' she questioned herself " hey Hiyori" masaomi greeted her as she was about to walk past " hey masaomi, hey mikado" she greeted back " your getting a few people looking at you, are you okay" mikado asked in a concerned tone " I'm fine" she waved it off " I'm used to things like this" she reassured " honestly Hiyori, you shouldn't be, it's not right" masaomi said in a serious tone " well if something does happen I speak up" she said " anyway, before I go you guys need anything?" She asked " two waters" masaomi said " alright I be right back" Hiyori then walked away, but then came back with their drinks, one man then called out to her and without hesitation, actually asked for her number, which Hiyori denies and walks away, eventually both mikado and masaomi finished their meal and were about to leave, but then mikado stooped and went up to denis " excuse me" he caught the other mans attention " but those men in the back have been harassing your waitress, I thought I'd let you know" Denis turned his eyes to the men in the back, who were eyeing the redheaded girl behind her back while she was serving a couple " thanks for that kid, if anything happens I'll call the police immediately"

"stop it!" Both of their attention was caught when they heard the redheads voice, her being once again harassed, by those to men, one of the hold her by the arm " come on babe, we just wanna get to know ya" Hiyori tried to get out of
His grip, but wasn't having any luck " hey!" All attention was caught when mikado stepped forward, looking kinda nervous " l-let her go" he stuttered " what you say little punk?" One of the guys friends growled, before, anything else could happen, the guy holding Hiyori's arm was knocked by, by her holding her metal tray " why you!" Before the other one could do anything, another tray was thrown at him, knocking him out, masaomi had knocked him out, Hiyori let out a sigh of relief " thanks you guys" Hiyori thanked " Hiyori, you okay?" Denis called out from the bar " I'm good" Hiyori nodded " I just called the police, they'll be here soon"

Few minutes later

The police arrived, putting the two pervert men in handcuffs, escorting them out, The three students stood next to each other, Hiyori had already gave her statement, while Denis was giving his, he eventually finished and walked up to the three " sorry about that Hiyori, how about you go home for the day, you don't need to go through with stuff like this" he suggested, which Hiyori nodded " let me just change back into my old clothes and I'll be on my way, I'm really sorry this happened denis" Hiyori apologised " no worry's kid, those two should have known better than to put their hands on you" he smiled

Hiyori changed back into her original clothes and was about to walk home when she heard " Hiyori wait!" She turned and saw masaomi and mikado running towards her " w-we were just going to walk you home, j-just in case" mikado stuttered" we didn't want anyone else to try anything" masaomi smiles  " aww, that's sweet" Hiyori smiled, which made them both blush, the three walked up the street till they finally came to the park " my place is just over there" Hiyori points out " thanks for the help" Hiyori smiled " nah it was nothing" masaomi grinned

Hiyori then turned to mikado, who stiffened " and thank you for stepping in mikado" she smiled, he smiled sheepishly laughing nervously " I-I'm just g-glad nothing bad happened" he stuttered, before she walked inside the apartment, she kissed both boys on the check, which surprised them both" bye" as soon as she was gone, masaomi let out a loud cheer " yes!!!" While mikado just stood there bewildered' she...kissed my cheek' he thought " well not what I was expecting for a first day, but I'll take it!" Masaomi grinned

Inside

Hiyori then walked inside, shutting the door behind her,p " welcome back!" she heard shinra greet her from the inside, he left what ever he was doing to go greet her " how was work?" He asked, Hiyori was about to speak, but then just shook her head and said "  you don't wanna know" she walked to the kitchen to get food " wait what happened?" Shinra asked again, only to be ignored, leaving him confused, Celty was sitting in the dinning room " hey, how was school?" She asked " it's was great, I even made a new friend" Hiyori smiled" great and work?" as soon as she asked that Hiyori deadpanned " I'd rather not talk about it" was all she said, grabbing a snack and a drink, then heading for her room, but first Celty asked "wait did something bad happen?" She asked concerned " craziness" hiyori answered, then leaving, leaving not only Celty confused, but shinra too, Hiyori placed both items on her desk and crashed onto her bed, letting out a sigh

' man, if tomorrow's anything like today, I'm gonna go nuts' she thought, looking up at her ceiling
