Today, Caleb brought the little green owl back to school. He did good on his Spanish recording. He knew he would get a good grade.

"Hey, Caleb, over here," Andy called from the curb.

Caleb put a finger over his mouth. "Shhh," he whispered. "You have to practice Spanish around Duo."

Andy's eyes widened and he nodded. "I no remembro," he whispered back.

"No recuerdo, Andy, recuerdo," said Sor Juana. She was the only one in class who knew how to speak Spanish.

Andy nodded. "No recuerdo," he said.

Caleb looked down at the unblinking green owl. He looked back at the sidewalk and saw the bus driving closer.

Suddenly he remembered a word of Spanish he had learned from Dora. "Vamos," Caleb said, pointing at the bus.

So they went.
