Matt broke the kiss with Kinzie to look her in the eyes again. "It's been so long..." He whispered to her. She giggled softly in that ever so memorable tone he knew. Kinzie hugged him tightly, and he hugged back. "Don't leave me again..." Matt whispered to Kinzie. With the moment of tenderness passed, Matt remembered he still had one more thing to do. "Kinzie, how about we go end this together?" He asked her. She shook her head in a "no" sense. "You started this whole thing. And now you have to end it. Kill her for me, Matt!" She said in an encouraging tone, pumping her fist. Matt nodded with a sinister smile on his face. He dashed past her, into the corridor that Lux escaped to. It led him lower into the Citadel, descending several levels. Eventually, the lights from outside disappeared entirely, and he found himself underground. He was in a labyrinth underground. He heard Lux's voice, however. "Can't find me now, can you?" Her voice echoed through the maze. Matt followed it throughout, trying to catch her. Lights went multicolored as they swirled around him. Eventually, he came to a large and dark room.

Suddenly, several lights turned on to reveal the room wasn't as small as it looked. In fact, it looked like a factory of sorts, with machinery scattered along with... iPhones? There were canisters filled with a strange purple fluid in droves around. Matt looked around, confused. He shook his head to keep his focus on killing Lux. A bunch of lights moved away from illuminating the machinery to above it all, revealing Lux, a Beatbox Gun in hand. "Hello, Matt!" She yelled down at him, almost taunting him. Matt gritted his teeth, and his left eye twitched. "Come to kill me, haven't you? Well I've got a backup plan!" She pointed a finger up, and a cannon pointed at Matt. It fired at Matt, and for some reason, he wasn't able to dodge out of the way and was hit by it. It hit him with... liquid soundwaves? Suddenly, speakers began to play music around him. They were piercing his ears, and digging into his thoughts. He screamed in pain as his thoughts were being pulled directly out of his body. He could see pink-and-purple ink being extracted from him and start to take form. After a lot more ink was pulled from him, he could see its final form. It was a Beatist version of Matt.

The Beatist Matt summoned his own version of the Synthblade. Matt quickly rose to his feet and drew his sword. Beatist Matt began to use advanced swordfighting techniques, even more skilled than Matt's. Matt couldn't keep up, and he found himself getting stabbed and slashed repeatedly. He fought to his best abilities, but the Beatist Matt was too good for him. Weakened and fatigued, Matt could only stand in place, bleeding out. The Beatist Matt stepped back as Lux jumped down in front of him. "Come on, Matt. Stop the fighting and just join me." She said in an almost seductive tone. She pulled out a pair of Hypnoshades and approached Matt, who couldn't do anything. "Give me a kiss~" She said as she got close to Matt, and while sliding on the Hypnoshades, was about to kiss him. It looked like it was over... Suddenly, a knife cut through the darkness of the area, and hit Lux in the arm. "GET AWAY FROM HIM YOU BITCH!" It was Kinzie! She looked angry, as her eyes had turned red and there were a lot of knives surrounding her. Lux staggered backward, and the shades fell off Matt's eyes. He shook his head, regaining his focus and bringing him back. Kinzie approached him and healed him. "Stay with me, Matt!" She encouraged him. He shook in place, and judging by his body language, was furious. Both Matt and Kinzie were filled with pure rage. It's time for the final show.

Kinzie saw the Beatist Matt approaching them, so with the knives she had, she impaled him on a nearby wall before throwing many more knives at him, killing him almost instantly. Matt put his focus on Lux, who was preparing to use a lot more weapons in the area. However, both Matt and Kinzie stopped time, and grabbed Lux before she could react. They teleported to the Citadel's roof, which was perfectly flat, like an arena. It was nighttime, so the stars were out, and the moon peeked out over the horizon. Time unfroze, and Lux found herself without a weapon, and without any support. "Your life ends here, Lux. No revives, no successors. Beatism ends NOW!" Matt yelled out before dashing at her and hitting her with an uppercut. Kinzie followed him with a kick to Lux's face, and grabbed her from behind. Matt hit her with a fierce combo of punches, before Kinzie threw her at him so Matt could powerbomb her. Once she was on the ground, Matt looked at Kinzie with a sinister smile. It was time for the finishing move. Both their specials were charged, and their hair started flaming. Matt's eyes were fiery, while Kinzie's were calm and collected. Matt hit Lux with a deadly K.O. Uppercut, sending her into the sky. Matt and Kinzie leaped up, and unleashed their strongest skill: A Double Omega Blitz.

Matt hit her with a flurry of fierce punches, elbows, hooks, uppercuts, and kicks, while Kinzie hit her with a flurry of kicks, roundhouses, knife strikes, and a few uppercuts taken out of Matt's book. With all their might, they finished it with a three hit combo. A punch from Matt, a kick from Kinzie, and a unison uppercut to send Lux flying sky-high. She was sent barreling upwards before crashing down onto the Citadel's roof again. Matt and Kinzie floated down, their specials emptied. They looked down at Lux's lifeless body, and smiled. Suddenly, a beacon emanated from it. Rather than being the purple-and-pink combo of Beatism, it was a beacon of cyan, the color of Synthism. The light sent out waves, incredibly large ones. They swept across the Shaded Realm, and the colors of Beatism were being wiped out, getting replaced by the Synthist cyan. Matt and Kinzie looked below the Citadel, and saw the citizens' shades were deactivating and their skin was turning back to normal. They did it. They eradicated Beatism. The realm was saved, and returned to being known as the Cyan Realm. Matt looked at Kinzie and smiled. "Hey," He started. "Wanna rule the realm with me?" He asked her. Kinzie smiled back. "Of course I wanna rule with you, Matt." She kissed him again. Matt jumped into the air excitedly, raising his fist victoriously.

"The king is back, baby!"
