Faux's P.O.V.

I got to school and saw my friends Natalie,Rich,and Alice. Natalie were having a holographic table-top Duel and Alice was keeping score of how many wins and loses each of them had. "And to end this Duel I attack you directly with Crazy Luna," Natalie said twirling her purple hair a bit. Rich lost as Natalie's Crazy Luna attacked him dropping his HP to 0. "C'mon that's the 5th time you beat me today," Rich said. "I'm just skilled," Natalie said. "More like lucky. My level's higher than yours yet you keep beating me," Rich mumbled. "I'm just that good. Oh hey Faux," Natalie said noticing me. "Hey guys," I said walking into the room. "Did you see me beat Rich again?" Natalie asked proudly. "Yep," I said. "I play Natalie after Rich's infinite rematches," Alice said. "No. I'm done," Rich said his premature white hair-which matches Alice's-being put to the side. His gray eyes filled with boredom of being beaten. I chuckled. Natalie's purple eyes had pride beyond compare. Alice's blue eyes were filled with a challenging aura. (You're welcome for the descriptions. But more info they all have pale skin. Don't blame me blame the game developers for making them all white). Alice took out her phone and five cards appeared in front of her. The bell rang. "Oh come on," Alice said as the cards disappeared. Alice and Natalie put their phones away. "I would've beaten you anyway," Natalie said. I chuckled and sat at my desk.

Time Skip to after school because school is boring

Me,Natalie,Rich,and Alice left school to head to the Duel Guild. (Duel Guilds are places where people go for Duel Heroes matches in this fic. You're welcome). We got to the Duel Guild while greeting the counter guy. "Hey Shawn," We all said in unison. "Hey guys. Here for a Duel?" Shawn said. "Yeah I didn't get to Duel Natalie at school so i'm going for a win," Alice said. "What about you Faux? Gonna start playing?" Shawn asked me. "No. I'm not ready yet," I said. "Hey. Anyone can be ready. You just need to accept it yourself," Shawn said. I thought about that. "C'mon Nat. Let's Duel," Alice said taking out her phone. "Okay but let's head over to the H.D.A.," Natalie said. (H.D.A. : Holographic Duel Arena. A small arena where people Duel kinda in the same way people Duel in Yu-Gi-Oh nowadays in the anime). "Yeah. Get your Duel Band ready Nat," Alice said. (Duel Band: Special technological wrist bands that Duelists use for Duels in H.D.A.s).

Natalie and Alice were prepped in the H.D.A. "Remember. Whoever gets their opponents Health Points to 0 or lower wins the Duel," Shawn said as a ton of Duelists in the Guild gathered around the arena to watch the Duel. "We know Shawn. We aren't newbs," Natalie said. "Then ready. Set. DUEL!" Shawn exclaimed starting the duel. "I start my turn with a draw and summon Red Witch," Natalie said summoning her Minion Red Witch "I end my turn,". "My turn. Draw. I summon Frozen Warrior. He's a Defense Posture Minion," Alice said "I end my turn".

Time Skip

Natalie won. As usual. "Aw man I lost. I was this close to beating you," Alice said. "Fat chance," Natalie said. Alice grumbled. I chuckled at my friends' bickering. "You know. You would make a great Duelist," Rich said. "Maybe but I don't know," I said. "C'mon. 1 Duel and if you like the game you can become a full time Duelist," Rich said. "Alright alright. 1 Duel," I said.
