Alex walked through the school halls, having gotten a free period that Thursday. 'So, what are we gonna do today?' a certain fox said, laying on Alex's shoulder 'I so board!!' Foxfire cried, pouting in a way that made Alex laugh. "I dunno buddy. Just go with the flow I guess," Alex replied.

"My Turn!" a voice said, drawing both entities attention. 'Huh? A battle?' Foxfire asked, Alex, shrugging in response before entering through a gate. He was surprised to see a duel going on (well, somewhat surprised) and walked over, soon being called by Asriel before he could look at the field. "Hey, Alex! This duel is insane!" Asriel said, getting Alex to look at him for a moment before he looked at the battlefield, a gasp coming from him and Brittney, who was standing right next to Asriel.

On one side of the battlefield were powerful monsters, ones that Alex knew he would have trouble fighting. A Dark Magician, Dark Magician of Black Chaos, Dark Magician Girl,  Dark Sage and Endymion, the Master of Magicians were on an obelisk blues field, said person looking frustrated as he stared across the battlefield. Alex followed his line of sight and almost laughed at what was on a Slifer reds field.

"Come on Baby Dragon, let's do this thing!" the Slifer cried, getting a "Rawwwk!" from his monster in response. Indeed, a Baby Dragon (1700 ATK/ 700 DEF/ 3*/Dragon) was on the field, but something was off about it, making Alex do a double take. A crown was on its head, three gems resting on in it, and when Alex looked at its controller's spell/trap zone, he knew instantly what it was.

Baby Dragon Treasure- Simmering White Crystal- (Continous Spell Card)This card's effect can only be activated if 'Simmering Empty King's Crown' is on the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, 'Baby Dragon' cannot be targeted or destroyed by Card Effects.

Baby Dragon Treasure- Simmering Red Crystal-(Continous Spell Card) This card's effect can only be activated if 'Simmering Empty King's Crown' is on the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, 'Baby Dragon' cannot be destroyed by battle. Any battle damage the controller of this card involving 'Baby Dragon' is halved.

Baby Dragon Treasure- Simmering Blue Crystal- (Continuous Spell) This card's effect can only be activated if 'Simmering Empty King's Crown' is on the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, 'Baby Dragon' gains 500 ATK and DEF points per every 'Simmering Crystal' on the field.

Simmering Empty King's Crown- (Equip spell)- This card can only be equipped to Baby Dragon.

Alex walked over to the side of the dueling arena, looking at one of the screens that listed the dialogue of the duel, for other students to see what happened during the parts they missed. He was shocked when he saw that Baby Dragon was the only monster that its controller summoned, as well as dealing damage with it. The current Life Point score was 700 to the Spellcaster user, a duelist named Austin. Alex saw that the other duelist, a chick named Abel, had 2400 Life Points, the turn is 35.

"I activate the final spell card of this game! I play the equip spell called Shooting Star Bow Ceal!" Abel cried, placing the card in her final spell/trap zone.

Shooting Star Bow Ceal- The equipped monster loses 1000 attack points but the equipped monster can attack the opponent directly.

"Baby Dragon! Attack my opponent directly! Baby Dragon Bite!" Abel called, the infant dragon jumped up into the air, flaring out its small wings to fly to the opponent. Every single one of his monsters tried to hit it, but they all missed, Austin crying out before he was knocked off of his feet, Baby Dragon nibbling his arm as his life points went down to zero, Able cheering as the monsters on the field disappeared, leaving the field bare. "And that is the power of Baby Dragon!" Abel cried, throwing out a peace sign with a smirk, her opponent grumbling to himself before he left without looking back.

"Hey, that was an awesome duel!" Alex called to her, getting the fellow Slifer to smile, nodding. "Yeah. I was in a tough spot there! One more turn and I would have lost for sure!" Abel said, looking relieved as she walked over to them. "I am surprised that you use Baby Dragon, the only duelist that I know of that used it was the Legendary Duelist Joey Wheeler,"  Asriel said, getting Able to smile with a nod. "Yeah. Joey Wheeler is my father," the blond said, getting everyone in the group to gasp. "But that would mean," Alex began, but she only shook her head. "Nah. I don't like running one of THOSE decks. I like to rely on true skill, not luck," Abel replied, laughing.

"By the way, what was that about the power of Baby Dragon?" Alex asked, getting Abel to smile with a wink. "Baby Dragon has a special form that I won at a tournament that is super rare... maybe I will use it in a duel one day," Abel said, laughing at there anime-falls. "Hey, cant you tell us what it is?" Asriel begged, only to get a surprise. Baby Dragon appeared on her shoulder, blowing a raspberry at him. 'SHE HAS A SPIRIT?!?!' Foxfire cried, getting a laugh from Abel. "Yeah. My baby is my spirit," Abel said, getting a nuzzle from the infant, it purring happily.

Right at that moment, the lunch bell rang, telling them it was time for lunch. "See you guys around!" Abel said before she bolted forward, running at speeds similar to a very familiar blond haired male from a certain anime when food is mentioned, making everyone sweat drop.
