"Did you hear? Abel challenged Ebony to a duel!" "Yea! I heard it was because Ebony embarrassed her in Biology!" were the two comments that drew Alex's attention that morning. "Hmm?" Alex said to himself, following a wave of students to an area that really did not surprise Alex too much; an arena. Alex looked down from his vantage point, watching as Ebony and Abel prepared for the match.

"Is Miss Abel shaking?' Foxfire asked, popping into existence on to his Alex's head, getting Alex to shrug, at least till he saw the slight tremor in Abel's hands as she shuffled her deck. "I guess so," Alex replied, kinda surprised that Abel would be nervous; she didn't strike him as that kind of Duelist. "Alex! Do you know what is going on?" Brittney asked, appearing beside him, panting lightly. "Dunno. I am surprised staff is allowing this though," Alex replied, looking at the teachers that took up the first row around the arena.

"Listen up! I want both of you to give the school a fair, clean duel! Now, get your game on!" Jaden called, getting the Slifer Red's to laugh. Receiving a nod from both participants, Abel and Ebony drew there first hand, both players smiling in response. "Alex, Brittney! I know whats going on!" Asriel yelled, running to them, heaving for air. Alex looked Asriel in the eyes and was surprised that his eyes were a lighter color, but when Asriel blinked, they returned to normal. 'Must have been my imagination,' Alex decided as Asriel recovered. "Abel is dueling Ebony to take her out on a date!" Asriel cried, getting Alex to look at the Baby Dragon user, surprised.

"I summon my most adorable Red-Eyes monster! Come forth my Red-Eyes Baby Dragon (1200 ATK/ 700 DEF/DRAGON/ 3*/Dark) in attack mode!" Ebony said. A few of the girls in the audience 'Awwed' as it gave a small roar onto the battlefield. "With that, I end my turn!" Ebony said, smiling at her infant dragon.

"My move! Draw!" Abel called, drawing a card from her deck to her hand, her eyes widening in response. Alex heard Foxfire gasp, peaking his interest. Covering his eyes from the light, Alex concentrated, pairing his eyes with Foxfires and saw Abels hand, gasping loudly. 'She won,' Alex thought to Foxfire, who nodded.

Abel hesitated for a moment, looking at her cards, looking like she had some hard thinking to do. 'I could win right now, and get my request! But...,' Abel thought to herself looking around her. She saw every student in the crowd, a good number cheering for Ebony. 'I cant do that to her!' she thought, looking at Ebony. "You say that your dragon is the most adorable? I summon Baby Dragon (1200 ATK/ 700 DEF/DRAGON/3*/WIND) in attack mode!"Abel called, summoning the small, brown-orange dragon onto the field, getting a good number of guys to gush at her monster. "Baby Dragon, attack Red Eyes Baby Dragon! Attack with Shimmering Bite!" Abel called. Baby Dragon flew over to Red Eyes Baby Dragon and, with a nuzzle, curled up with Red Eyes Baby Dragon as they were destroyed and sent to the graveyard.

"I am surprised! I can now activate Red Eyes Baby Dragons effect! I can special summon one "Red Eyes" monster from my deck! I shall summon the top card of my deck!" Ebony called, getting every member of the audience to gasp. "WHAT?!?" Brittney yelled, stunned. "I can hear your roar, partner. Come battle with me, Red Eyes," Ebony began, drawing her card before slamming it down on her duel disk "Black Dragon! (2400 ATK/2000 DEF/7*/DRAGON/DARK)" Ebony yelled. A thunderous roar filled the stadium as a pure black dragon formed on the field, its piercing red eyes glaring at Abel with hatred. "You dare destroy my baby?!?" Red-Eyes Black Dragon roared, fire leaking out of her mouth. "Oh hush Queen," Ebony sighed, looking at Abel. "Baby Dragons effect activates. Since it was destroyed by battle, it equips to the special summoned monster, and gives it 300 ATK," Ebony said. The small baby dragon leaped at the Red Eyes. "Mommy!!" R.E.B.D cried, smiling to the mother as she held him close, snuggling him, her attack power going up to 2700. 'More like mother power,' Alex chuckled to himself, getting a snicker from Foxfire.

Abel smiled to the two, wanting to laugh in a friendly way at the two, but kept a straight face as she picked two cards from her hand. "I set two cards face down and end my turn," Abel said, nodding to Ebony. "Thus the start of mine! I draw!" Ebony cried, drawing her next card quickly.
Alex could have sworn he felt a shift from Ebony, one that threw off his gaze of her. The usual red in Ebony's eyes had darkened to a near blood red, a fierce grin on her face. "I shall call upon one of my best dragons!" Ebony called, getting a gasp from the crowd. "I release my Red Eyes Black Dragon to summon her!" Ebony began as her Red-Eyes Black Dragon soon started to glow with the baby dragon. 'let's go play sweetie,' Red Eyes B. Dragon said, getting a laugh from her baby before she vanished in a flash of... dark light? "I Special Summon the grandmother of all Red Eyes Dragons! Come forth Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon!! (ATK 2700/ DEF 2000/ 8*/ DRAGON/DARK)" Ebony cried, slamming the card down on to her duel disk.

A wave of pure darkness emerged onto her field as a terrifying screech filled the air. "Who dares disturb my rest?" a voice rasped, a pair of fire red eyes piercing the darkness, the very shadows starting to swirl around. "I do, mistress Darkness. I require your services in this battle," Ebony said, getting a roar from the shadows. "Then make it quick! I was about to take a nap!" the voice said as the darkness dispersed.

Alex gasped with the rest of the crowd as the ancient dragon landed on the battlefield, looking at Abel with slight contempt. "Thank you, mistress. Now, time for the final turn!" Ebony cried, getting murmurs from the crowd. "Final turn? The most she can do is 2700 points of damage this turn," Brittney said, getting Alex to shake his head, telling her to wait.

"I activate a spell card from my hand! I play Red Eyes Will Of Destruction!" Ebony called, playing the green card. 

Red Eyes Will Of Destruction: Send every Dragon-Type monster in your Main Deck and hand the GY.

"What?!?!" Asriel yelled, unable to believe what Ebon just did. "Why would she do that?" Brittney asked. Alex just looked at Ebony from the crowd, smiling as he knew what she was doing. "I send 27 Dragons to the graveyard!" Ebony told the crowd, sending all of the cards to the graveyard as Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon roared, a dark aura surrounding it. "Now, Red Eyes Darkness Dragons effect! She gains 300 attack points in my graveyard! And I count 29!" Ebony smirked, getting the crowd to get in an uproar.

(Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon: 2700- 11400 Attack)

"Mistress! Finish my opponent now! Inferno Rage!" Ebony shouted. Abel smiled as the dragon roared, sending a wave of black fire over Abel, her life points dropping quickly. 'I could have won... I love you too much to do that to you... Ebony,' Abel thought to herself as she fell to her knees, her life points hitting 0 at that exact moment.

The crowd went into a rage, cheering for Ebony as the monster faded out of existence. Ebony walked over to Abel and offered a hand, smiling to Abel gently. "Come on Abe; we have a date to attend," Ebony said, helping Abel up, albeit her being shocked. "What do you mean? I lost the duel," Abel said gently. "Remember our wager? You said the winner gets to do what they want to the loser. Well, I am taking you on a date!" Ebony said, hugging Abel, the blond looking shocked before she broke out into a smile, hugging Ebony back happily.

There we go! This chapter is done, and the next one will be very interesting I do think... but no details yet! I do all hope you enjoyed this duel, especially to these two people:
