A/N: This chapter takes place a year before the series started during the summer

Today was an important day for a young 10 year old duckling. It was summer vacation for her and she was trying to convince her dad to let her go to this all summer music camp for young musicians, but Scrooge being Scrooge didn't want to spend any money but he knew how badly she wanted to go to this summer camp.

Jasmine woke up that morning and she got dressed before going down stairs to eat breakfast. She took her seat next to Scrooge and Webby and quietly eats her breakfast. Ever since she was much younger she had learned not to bother Scrooge in the morning especially when he was busy with work which usually led to her feeling neglected as Scrooge was always to busy to spend any time with her which lead her love of music as her way of expressing her feelings.

Scrooge looked up from his newspaper and looks down at Jasmine and placed the poster for the camp in front of her.  "Lass care to explain how this got into my office?" He asked looking at her.

Jasmine looks at the poster. "Maybe it was left their from yesterday?" She said unsure.

Scrooge sighs. "Lass ay know you really want to go to this camp but it's just not gonna happen, you know how ay am with me money" He said and he looked at her.

Jasmine sighs. "I know you didn't become the riches duck in the world by spending your money" She said quietly and a bit of sadness in her voice. She finished eating and she quietly got up and went back up stairs to her room.

Jasmine looks down sadly and she picked up her guitar and sat on her bed. She quietly strums her guitar she looked when she noticed Webby come in her room.

Webby smiles softly at Jasmine. "Hey Jas i was wondering if you could play the song you sing about Neverland sometimes for me?" She asked.

"Oh umm, sure Webby" She said and strums her guitar before she started playing.

Jasmine smiles softly after she had finished singing the song. It somehow made her feel a little bit better. Maybe because it was something she could faintly remember her mom singing to her when she was very young.

Meanwhile Scrooge was talking Beakly. Beakly looks at Scrooge. "Mr.McDuck i know you don't want to spend any money but i think you should let Jasmine go to this summer camp" She said.

Scrooge looks at Beakly. "I suppose your right Beakly. I suppose i'm just being a protective father" He said before getting up and going to Jasmine's room.

It has now been a week since Jasmine had started coming to camp and she was really having a great time.

On her first few days their she had met a group of boys from Duckburg like her. Their named were Huey, Dewey and Louie duck. The four of them became fast friend and were always with each-other although Jasmine seemed to be closer with Louie more than anyone in the group. She and Louie would spend a lot of time together rehearsing their songs. 

That night they had a small audition for a solo for one of the events they were doing and Jasmine was auditioning for the solo. 

She looks at the others who were also auditioning too and felt nerves a bit. When she started singing it was quiet as she was a bit shy now.

Who will i be?

It's up to me-

She was then interrupted by the camps instructor. "Alright I know your singing a solo but that was so low I couldn't hear you, alright so a bit louder" He said before joining the rest of the campers.

Jasmine took a deep breath before singing again.

Who will I be?
It's up to me
All the never ending possibilities

There's nothing that I can't do

Yes, I believe
I get to make the future what I want to
If I can become anyone and know the choice is up to me
Who will I be?  

Jasmine smiles softly when she was done and she smiles softly at Louie. She sat next to Louie a small blush on her face. 

"Wow she's really good" She heard one the the others girls say.

By the time the end of the summer came it was the last night of came they were have a concert called Final Jam where everyone would preform in front of people. Jasmine was happy to see that Scrooge had taken some time out of work to see her preform.

"Our next performer is a young up coming star; Jasmine!" Said our camp instructor Chris.

Jasmine looks from where she was standing and saw Scrooge. "Dad?" She whispered happily before walking out onto stage as the music started.

While Jasmine was singing Scrooge's phone had gone off and it was work calling. He knew he had to answer it so he got up and walked away from his seat.

Jasmine ended up tripping on the stage when she saw Scrooge was on his phone during her performance. She couldn't continue her performance and so she ran off the stage tears in her eyes. 

After being comforted by Louie she and the rest of the campers preformed their final song together at camp.This last song being called 'We Rock'.

Jasmine noticed Scrooge looking at her but she looked away from him still hurt. Once summer camp ended she didn't see the triplets again until school started. 

However she was ignoring Scrooge and it was like that until Scrooge started taking time out of work to spend time with her and get to know her better.

But soon Jasmine would be going on an adventure of her life as she solves mystery's and rewrites history.
