Yibo runs into bathroom and knees down at bowl, unable to stop himself from throwing up. Lei follows him in and holds his forehead until detective is done. Yibo quickly removes his hand and roughly pushes friend back. Lei pouts with hurt expression but doesn't argue back

"this is how mom was doing it, when I was sick...sorry"

"damn it, fucking damn it" Yibo yells and starts hitting wall with his fist, until Lei manages to stop him. later one takes handkerchief out and tries to wipe blood away

"what is wrong with you? stop hurting yourself"

"do you even realize what is happening now lei?" Yibo grabs his collar and says through his teeth "we're police, our work is to protect people and...someone was driven to death because of us. what should we do now? he is right there, that bastard killed himself"

"so what? why is that our fault? we did nothing wrong"

"Lei..."

"you talked to him, you saw what kind of person he was. people like him love themselves the most, Han had enough money to just fled country and live happily. you think he regretted? he felt remorse? no way"

"what if he did? I keep making mistakes, I keep shaming myself. do I really deserve to wear this uniform?"

"at least you can see your mistakes, this is first and the most important step for improvement" Lei holds Yibo's shoulders and brings his face closer "listen to me. let's wait for autopsy results and decide later. don't jump to conclusions yet, emotions are never good adviser"

"how can you be this calm?"

"because I'm not good person like you. usually I don't care, especially about assholes like him. I'm sure we can rely on Sean's opinion too, why won't you ask him?"

"I don't think so, he is someone I can't trust the most now. that man just keeps playing with me as before" Yibo sighs and gently messes his hair "I'm sorry for taking it all out on you buddy, it was my decision too, not only yours. now let's leave this place, forensics team are done already"

"it's ok, we're brothers right? yep, let's go we need to talk to jiang too" Yibo follows him back and stops at the entrance, dumping into someone. eyes filled with hatred meets him and Yibo's lips forms mocking smile

"my bad Mr Xu Kai, I didn't mean blocking your way. you're hurrying to grieve your friend right?"

"you're wrong, I'm here to see my man. we keeping meeting each-other detective Wang and I'm not really pleased by this fact"

"so? should I worry? I'm just doing my job now, while you fuck around with some so called doctors here"

"you clearly don't know your place" Xu Kai walks closer and slowly runs his hand on Yibo's shoulder, whispering at his ear "it takes only one second to crush tiny insect like you, but somehow I'm curious about how far your guts are going to come. you're going to end up under the ground anyway"

"won't we all? but not sure who gonna be first between us"

"sir, you're here" suddenly Sean stands between them and avoids Yibo's stare "Han's body was just moved to autopsy room. I'm sorry for your loss"

"I won't meddle in your emotional moment" Yibo eyes Sean with visible disgust and grins "you two really compliment each-other"

Jiang enters his flat and places key on the shelf, greeting Lei. later one is sitting at the table, deeply drown into thoughts. Jiang changes his clothes and comes back, taking place next to him

"is something wrong? usually you only drink at friends' gathering. Why didn't wait for me?"

"but where were you? I was looking for you"

"I was with Yanlin, we had some cases to discuss about"

"you weren't at your department"

"we went outside to eat together"

"you could answer the phone at least" Lei frowns and Jiang gets up, bringing instant soups for both

"don't act like jealous wife and eat, this is your fave, spicy one. drinking on the empty stomach is dangerous for your health"

"ok mom" Lei pouts cutely and starts eating, while Jiang keeps looking at him with smile "what are you looking at? I'm very handsome right?"

"I see, having company is really nice, even it's silly brat like you"

"won't you ask what happened?"

"I'm waiting, you know already that I can listen"

"it was us, who shared that tape about Han. I mean doctor who was found dead this morning"

"I knew already that you're crazy, but what about Yibo?"

"thanks Jiang, that was very comforting"

"ok, ok don't sulk. and now you're blaming yourself for his death"

"I played tough in front of Yibo, I acted like don't care. he always brings things too close to his heart, someone needs to be strong in this situation right?"

"right" Jiang nods and pets his hand "you did well, I'm proud of you"

"I can't even kill ant and how come this happened to me? I took everything as game and didn't think about possible results. I'm on the edge of breaking down, what should I do Jiang?"

Lei suddenly laughs loudly and slaps his nape, breaking the touch

"wow, that was intense. I got goosebumps"

"intense my ass" Jiang coughs awkwardly and leaves to kitchen, taking cold water from fridge "you're such a unserious human being"

"I'm just grateful" Jiang feels Lei's light grip on his shoulder and smiles "you give me home and this is all I could dream about"

"enough sentiment and let's go sleep, I'm tired"

"sleep together? so shameless"

"you're drunk and talking nonsense"

"you're virgin right? there is huge "virgin" written on your forehead" Lei keeps laughing and teasing him, until Jiang picks him up and literally throws on the bed, hardly controlling himself

"I told you to sleep and calm your naughty ass down. I won't say it again" it only takes one minute for Lei to fall asleep and Jiang sighs, covering him with blanket "it feels like I got myself kid to raise, such a headache"

Yibo is standing at the autopsy room and waiting for Lei, trying to stop his legs from shaking. his eyes red and swollen from sleepless night, while head full with unpleasant thoughts. Lei walks towards him and from the first glance Yibo notices he is having hangover

"will you be ok? there is corpse inside" Yibo asks with worrying voice and pets his back

"I have to" Lei nods with faint smile and follows him in. air is filled with irritating formaldehyde smell and Lei covers his mouth, about to throw up. pathologist, quite pretty woman stands up and leaves food container on the table. realizing the fact that she was eating, makes detective even sicker "are you kidding me? how can you eat next to rotting corpse? gosh, I'm passing out"

"don't be dramatic. slowly you get use to this kind of things. I see and touch them everyday, so there is nothing weird about it"

"should we just move to results?" Yibo glares at them and removes sheet from dead body, watching at it with curiosity. surprisingly all his anxious is gone and only professional side is left "did you find something important?"

"actually not, I think it's too obvious from very first sight but still will explain. look at the cuts on his wrists, what do you see?"

"it's totally different"

"right"

"cut on the right hand is more deep and straight, while left is slight and uneven"

"doctor Han was left handed, that is why he cut right whist first. he was already bleeding and in the pain, plus it's hard for him to use right hand. that is the reason second cut is different. absolutely everything shows that he killed himself guys, there is no sign of using force or someone's skin under his nails"

"so"

"this is clearly suicide"

"what about any medicine? was he clear?"

"he wasn't high, only low amount of alcohol"

"time of death?"

"about seven hours until body was found"

"I don't get it. was he hiding at the hospital all along? why should he come here for killing himself? why is everything so perfectly done? that it doesn't leave any suspicion?"

"Yibo enough" Lei gently touches his hand and smiles to pathologist "I'll excuse myself pretty, thank you so much for information. you can keep eating now, until next meeting" he takes Yibo out and holds his shoulders, waiting for other to calm down "don't show your emotions in front of others. this will pass soon trust me"

"I'm being unreasonable right? I just don't wanna believe that is was suicide. when I was spending time with Sean, Han..." Yibo stops and suddenly grabs Lei's arm, making him whimper "I found it weird, when he asked me to accompany him"

"Yibo, what are you talking about?"

"what if he used me to create strong alibi? what if Sean is related to this somehow? I'm sure he is hiding something"

"I think you should take day off. talk to your heart and decide, can the man you love be murderer? do you have any reason to blame him or just trying to remove feeling of guilt? you aren't this kind of person Yibo"

Sean knocks on the door and walks in after getting permission. Xu Kai is lying on the bed, with naked chest, wearing only thin robe. based on his satisfied expression and red, blurry eyes Sean guesses what is happening. he walks closer and starts fixing messy bed, while blood stains takes his attention

"are you hurt somewhere?"

"that twink was kinda stubborn, so I had to use force. like who would deny me? he should be grateful that I fuck lowborn like him right?" Xu Kai laughs and gets up, filling glass with whiskey. robe falls down slowly , showing his bare firm body. Sean notices still red scratches on his back and frowns "don't you love, when I do it to you?"

"sure I do" Sean turns to him and smiles seductively "you're best and you know that too"

"you're sweet talker"

"are you worrying about your friend? don't use this much next time, it's dangerous"

"friend? drug is only friend of mine. fuck that idiot, he brings problems even after death. those stupid detectives keep asking annoying questions. why should I worry? I know he wanted to hold into my business and..." Xu Kai tightly grabs Sean's neck and licks his lips up "and you too, the most precious and beautiful toy I have"

"you know I'm loyal"

"you better be. but they don't, those dastards keep dying one after one and I getting frustrated slowly. did I choose wrong people?"

"I thought...by any chance is it you who kills them?" Sean's eyes is filled with honest curiosity and Xu Kai just sighs

"too much work and risk, plus Han wasn't murdered right? they said it was suicide"

"actually... think there is someone who doesn't believe it, I tried to show my soft and vulnerable side to him. if I get closer"

"do you mean that Wang detective? I already know that you two spent time together, good you said it yourself, in another case I was going to get mad"

"I'm sorry, but if he digs deeper it's going to be problem for you and your business. at least Yibo gonna trust me more from now on, I can destroy any evidences too what he finds. you know...I love being cat, who plays with mouse"

"why won't we just kill him now? isn't it easiest way?"

"this isn't right time boss, later I'll cause little incident myself" Sean winks at him with creepy smile and clings at Xu Kai "you trust me right? if not I'll be very hurt"

"you know what I love the most about you? duality, the way you can be so soft and wild at the same time. only you know how to pleasure me, how to please my ego. I'm very lucky to own man like you"

"sure I'm only yours. by the way, why won't we drink together?" Sean fills glasses and hands one to him "let's say goodbye to our late Han, may he has fun at the hell" Xu Kai eyes him for a while and then returns glass, taking another from Sean

"you think I put poison in right?" Sean pouts and empties whiskey with one go "I'll excuse myself now"

"hey, are you upset?" Xu Kai laughs and gets thick pack of money from table, rubbing it on Sean's chest "can I pay with this as always? enough, or you want more?"

"you're generous as always" Sean pecks on his cheek and saves money "let me take care of some business"

"alright, see you later with good news"

Sean leaves Xu Kai's room and grins, tightening grip around the capsule to the point it breaks. he doesn't mind pain and walks towards entrance, when something heavy hangs on his legs. Sean stops and looks down, to meet pure, desperate eyes. young boy, about 18 years old brings his palms together and starts begging mixed with loud sobs

"please help me ge, please same me from that man" Sean freezes and keeps listening to him without any expression on his face. boy's clothes are torn and bloody, his whole body is filled with hickeys and still red bruises. he tries to get up, but fails every time, not having enough strength "I'm going to die here"

"get off" Sean says through his teeth and throws him back with his leg. boy whimpers with pain and wipes his tears, crawling towards him again "how do you dare to touch me with those dirty hands?"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry ge, but please don't leave me here. my name is Chen, at least tell my mom that I'm alive"

"stop calling me ge damn it" Sean yells and leans down, grabbing his collar "why do you think that I care? you got here because of your stupidity, so just accept your fate"

"you all are monsters, you all are going to pay for my death" Chen frees himself and strong disgust shows on his face "you made me dream of happy future, you made my heart fill with hope and then threw me into hell. can you still call yourself human? you're like him too, demon with angelic face"

"come here you little trash" guard runs into room and roughly grabs Chen's arm, dragging him out. his eyes doesn't leave Sean even for a second and doctor hardly moves his body to leave from there. Sean passes through his car and waves hand for the taxi, saying address what first comes in the mind. he just needs to escape, escape from there...

"Mom I'm coming out to buy some products, will be back soon" Yibo leaves his flat and runs down on the stairs, enjoying cold breeze coming from outside. silhouette at the dark corner takes his attention and stops wondering who it may be. stranger slowly walks towards him and Yibo is about to touch his gun, when familiar voice reaches him

"help" he whispers and Yibo opens arms to take fallen body into embrace. Sean tightly holds into him, while his whole body shakes and chest moves up and down gasping for air

"Sean, what is wrong? please don't scare me like this" Yibo cups his face and looks around, searching for someone to help "I'll...I'll call ambulance"

"don't, please don't"

"are you asthmatic? inhaler, do you have a inhaler?" Yibo starts searching in his pockets and sighs from relief, finding it at the end. he brings inhaler to Sean's lips and although denial, still forces him to use it. Sean's breath becomes normal after few minutes, but he stays into Yibo's arms, unable to move. his face drawn from any colors, while nonstop tears drops on his cheeks. Yibo leans down and hugs him tightly, feeling his heart breaking "what happened? please tell me who hurt you. I can kill anyone for you"

"will you really?" Sean's trembling hand caresses his cheek and whispers at his ear "I can't bear it anymore Yibo, I'm too tired, I'm too exhausted, can you...can you kill me?"

So here is next chapter 😊 Actually I don't enjoy writing scenes where they're with other man too 😬 but it's necessary. actually there was one comment on my story, saying that Zhan and Yibo always have to be first for each-other. sorry, but mostly I find it very unrealistic
