The introverted Pokémon

Appearance
Fahreneon, the introverted Pokémon. At first glance, this cold critter may look shy and lonely but it actually prefers to be this way. It becomes rather violent towards those who will not let it be, either burying itself or creating a frozen obstacle towards the opponent to trap or push away. It genuinely hates company, thus making it a Pokémon worth not training or having in a team. It's also considered a bad omen, since its ability to trap in foes or prey can sometimes do the same with people. Folklore explains that if you were to come across one you'd be trapped in an ice dome for all eternity! People, afraid that they're children too will end up trapped like their ancestors, plan to run the eeveelution out of populated areas in order to stop it's horrendous acts upon innocent victims. But alas, they didn't stay away or went extinct. It's power was too strong and it was impossible to get rid of them, so the public blocked all places that they were the most common in and warned newcomers of the rare Fahreneon.

Fahreneon is an eevee who evolved into a Dark/Ice type, creating a new Pokémon and another branch to eevee's unstable evolutionary line. It's a medium sized quadruped mammal with silky cadet grey fur, slender in shape with obvious looking winter wardrobe. Parts of its body are black with triangular alice blue rings encircled on both the ears and tail, save for the gloved like paws which are also black and blue mittens. The small hoodie it wears is also the same in color, the outside being dark and icy blue, while the inside being a gloomy shade. Like its close cousin Umbreon, Fahreneon has no ear tufts and appears to have golden eyes with pale orbs and clear white pupils.

The shiny is quite the same structure, cadet grey fur being replaced by a midnight blue. Black parts become white, and icy blue portions turn into a vibrant sky blue. It's white pupils stay the same, but gaining bright red eyes with pink orbs instead of gold to finish off its look. 

Ability
Fahreneon, is named after the word fahrenheit. As it has the ability to create icy flurries of snow and wind to bring down unbearable freezing temperatures that it itself can only withstand. This is how it makes ice caves, by slowing down the air molecules and creating hard solid specks of ice which form into larger chunks to further reshape the way it wants it home to be. Fahreneon is usually seen doing this when it can't find a permanent shelter. In other cases it too uses this ability to catch prey or block predators from entering its security.

It either tries to lure prey in its territory or lets them think they've found a secluded cave for itself to keep, unknown to the eeveelutions' presence. Fahreneon easily stalks it's helpless victim from behind, awaiting the perfect moment to pounce. With lightning speeds and agility it immediately lunges itself towards its target! Striking the small creature and consuming its prize.
But if the prey manages to flee or release itself from the dual type's grasp, Fahreneon will enclose the entrance to where it came from. Having no other way out, becoming trapped in the dark icy cave with its perpetrator.

This rare eeveelution must also look out for predators. Both humans and bigger Pokémon. Humans can easily call in a hoard to run off the misunderstood mammal and even unfreeze it's ice territory for good riddance. Other Pokémon however, are quite the trouble. As they can melt, destroy, or invade its home as long as they can until Fahreneon has had enough.
It's body temperature cools down, to the point where it's below freezing! As it does this, the area will absorb with winter frost. Grass, trees, and living beings will be engulfed in ice, whirl winds of cold hurricanes, snowstorms, and blizzards can occur if this ability lasts longer. It becomes so cold that nothing could survive Fahreneon's wrath except for itself, desperately trying to get rid of the invaders.
After the intruders scurry away, Fahreneon will collapse due to using so much energy. Resting for a while before going back to fix what has been damaged or simply, move to another location to live another day.

Let it be known that the Fahreneon's icy blue patterns will emit faint light in the dark so that it can see beyond the cave's pitch black corners. The only times the rings glowed brighter enough depended on how big a sculpture was, since they used both energy, strength, and thought to shape whatever they wanted. The rings are similar to its former cousin Umbreon, it's also stated that Fahreneon uses its rings not just for light, but for Morse code. Communication between the night with each other if needed, blinking blue lights to one another through the winter darkness.

Habitat
Being the dark/ice type that it is, it's habitat is clearly made out of snow. It thrives in secluded areas underneath the forests; where prey and water alike can live as well. A calm atmosphere to the eeveelutions delight, usually sleeping in its ice cave during the morning times. Nocturnal by dusk, where it can frolic through the snow and enjoy the arctic night with their own kind. The cold is their power source after all, without it Fahreneon can never get comfortable with its surroundings, upon getting weaker by the days. It's certainly needed if a trainer so happens to own one, as it's home is permanently frigid.

These private places have been considered a breeding ground for many of these eeveelutions, upon seeing groups and eventually a colony of wild Fahreneon's! They all know each other as a family, upon staying together for safety and have been able to raise young Pokémon that have been abandoned by a mother, herd, or a human. Much to their disgust.
But as said before, the areas are known to be closed off due to the humans assumption of them being "evil" but this hasn't stopped trainers willing to tame one. Of course it doesn't end well with people trespassing it's territory. Any threat that dares to come through it's territory will have to confront their species as a whole! Even all the wild Pokémon within the environment will immediately resort to hostility without a second thought. Wild Fahreneon's don't not accept other Pokémon becoming "slaves" or "pets" to people, so by telling the horrors of humanity of their past to other ice type Pokémon this helps them protect the area they all live in. Forever saving the place they call home.

Outcome
Raising an eevee to be a dark/ice type is usually the way to go. As the Pokémon will still act the way it was before the transformation. Though it may come across as protective, unemotional, quiet, distant, responsive, and friendly but not too much. And a well guard for children and other defenseless Pokémon. It's merely kind enough to build ice domes and caves for them, either for protection or fun. Though once attacked, their ice is strong enough to block out fire and other potential threats from the vulnerable victims. This is what all Fahreneon's are trained to do, protect lives and hopefully change the error of it's ways with humankind. Even if people may not see it, Fahreneon will remain as loyal as you train it to be.

Despite being difficult to obtain, it's actually possible to get yourself a wild Fahreneon! Though once caught, it may still be bitter and give out the occasional 'cold shoulder'. Even sitting outside and making an ice dome for self isolation. Heck, it becomes so blunt to the point of it returning back to where it was caught, clearly angry and determined to be set free. They may even try to escape or attack anything in their way! But if you still decide to keep it, you'd have to be very patient with this Pokémon. You'll need to earn its trust and show the good side of humans. If it is convinced, it will open up and show fondness of others more so the trainer. Breaking the rivalry of man and eeveelution once and for all!

If you happen to save a wild Fahreneon from meeting it's unfortunate fate, it may eventually change its view on humans, now looking up at the person who saved it. Fahreneon will become attached to said person, becoming more friendlier than it's species, and being rather over protective. Oftentimes the eeveelution will snap at anything or anyone that comes in contact with its caretaker, guarding the only person that saved its life by trying to return the favor. It can take a long time training this dual type to officially trust other humans then the one it looks up upon. After all, it's quite common to save Pokémon from danger and develop some sort of bond or understanding towards them afterwards.

It would never harm people on purpose and accidentally captures them by fright. Seeing a larger opponent then itself scares it into thinking it may hurt it. But if it does feel threatened, Fahreneon will not hesitate to put layers upon layers of ice down into the perpetrator, preventing any freedom!
But as said before, Fahreneon's still get a bad reputation because of this. Among the accusations, it really doesn't mean to hurt anyone. The ability is only used for food, shelter, and protection. But through hardship, these eeveelutions now know how to stay away from humans and pass on the knowledge to others of their tragic past. Apparently as stubborn some people can be, once they've encountered a wild Fahreneon it will immediately lash out or run away to warn the others of the potential threat.

Otherwise, if Fahreneon is still stubborn on its beliefs, unresponsive, violent, and prefers isolation, it's better to let go of the captured Pokémon as there is no way of getting through to it. Try doing your best being generous to it, so that it doesn't spread false rumors (to its species or other's) of humans as being nothing but cruel.

Fun fact: Fahreneon will not tolerate a Pokémon team with a fire or fairy type, but will try to defend its master if conflicted.

It is said that developing some sort of relationship with an eevee during an auroran night in the arctic, will evolve eevee into a dark/ice type.
