Also, bonds and trust are 2 different things. Only Elytrians (or those of Elytrian blood) can form bonds. If you're curious, the closest equivalent of the bond is the soulmate bond Tommy and Tubbo have in the RRR trilogy. If you haven't read it, it's on ao3, and it's by Aria_Cinabun. It's really good, I recommend it.

Tommy, since he has no real family, he bonds with people very easily, and because of that, it's easy to manipulate him. If someone treats him with kindness—even if it's one major act of kindness—he creates a sort of familial bond with them. Sometimes, that bond doesn't break—it may strain, but it won't shatter—like with Tubbo. Other times, the bond is shattered completely, and it'll take a while to fix, like with Wilbur. Other times, the bond will break, but the pieces are still there, so he may still care for the individual, but be wary of them, like with Techno.

Tubbo, because of his messy past, doesn't trust nearly as easily or as quickly as Tommy does. Tubbo only puts his trust in someone if he feels like they've earned it. Since Tubbo and Tommy fought in their fair share of wars together—not to mention Tommy found Tubbo when they were young and is the reason Tubbo didn't starve or freeze to death—Tubbo trusts Tommy with his life—which may not always be a good thing. Tubbo trusted Wilbur during L'manburg and a bit of Pogtopia, but after Wilbur watched Tubbo get executed and did nothing, and then later blow up the nation he just made Tubbo president of, Tubbo's trust in Wilbur completely shattered. Similar thing with Techno.

Ranboo is a mixture of Tommy and Tubbo—by that I mean that he trusts easily, but he is wary if he doesn't completely know the person. Ranboo thinks this is because of something in his past, but he doesn't know for sure.

Phil forms bonds with children, primarily. Familial bonds—especially one between a parent and a child—are almost impossible to shatter, especially if the parent-child relationship is very loving. The only people that he bonded with that wasn't a familial bond was Kristin—where he formed a romantic bond with her—and Techno—where he formed a platonic bond with him.

Wilbur forms familial bonds easily—scarily so. Especially when it comes to people he's been with for so long. Aside from the natural parent-child bond he has with Phil, Wilbur has strong familial bonds with Techno and Tommy. Tommy's familial bond is shattered, and Technos is strained.

Techno doesn't trust easily. Similar to Tubbo, he only trusts people who have earned it, and that trust shatters if they stab him in the back—literally and/or figuratively. Currently, the only people he truly trusts are Phil, Ranboo, and Niki. Phil, because he found Techno when he was a young piglin and surely would've died if it wasn't for the Elytrian. Ranboo, because he gifted him an axe after he "lost" the Axe Of Peace, amongst other things. And Niki because...yeah.
