Third Person POV
Jungkook watched Taehyung flee from the room.
He stared at the now dead woman in the bed, a hole right between her eyes.
Jungkook didn’t feel anything, he had killed more people than he could count, but he felt a little guilty for Taehyung, as it was obvious that the man had never killed someone before.
And plus Jimin had told him not to let Taehyung get too out of control.
He’d failed miserably.
Eventually, he turned and walked out of the room, off to find where Taehyung had rushed off to.
While Jungkook had been standing there, Taehyung had rushed out of the apartment and ran as fast as he could to his old apartment.
It was about a thirty minute walk, done in fifteen minutes by how desperate Taehyung was.
But his worst nightmare had happened.
Yoonbin was nowhere to be found.
Shakily, Taehyung took out his phone.
“Taehyung?” Jimin asked.
“G-gone. He’s gone.” The man said quietly, falling to his knees in front of the door of the home he used to live in. “He’s gone.” Tears were streaming down his face and he didn’t know what to do. He felt hopeless, like the whole world was against him.
“Who? Taehyung? Taehyung!?” Taehyung didn’t hear it. And Jimin heard the call disconnect. “Shit.” He whispered. “Shit, shit, shit. Shit!” He stood quickly from the seat and grabbed a pair of random keys, not caring who’s car it was or if it was even his.
“Jimin?”
Jimin didn’t respond and ran out of the room, down the hall and out of the house. He got into the car that unlocked for him and sped off, knowing where the man would be.
Jungkook was driving there as well, however, he stopped when his eyes landed on something.
Or rather, someone.
He pulled to the side of the road and got out, sneering at th people who simply walked past and paid the child no mind.
The crying child.
The crying child wandering the streets alone.
Whom Jungkook had an increasingly dreading idea of who was.
He walked over to the child slowly, so as not to startle him and kneeled down.
“Hey…” but the child didn’t respond.
Deaf. Jungkook reminded himself. Taehyung had said the his child was deaf and that he couldn’t hear.
Slowly, Jungkook reached out and placed a hand on the child’s, shoulder. He whipped around, his eyes wide.
Tears started to fill his eyes. “Hey, Hey, shhh…” Jungkook didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know how to communicate with the child. So he did what he thought of. He brought the kid in and gave him a hug.
He rubbed the kid’s back and looked around.
He hoped to god that this was Tae’s kid, otherwise he’d seriously be kidnapping someone’s child.
But he didn’t really have much doubts, seeing as the kid was alone, and there were no shops nearby that a mother could keep her child out of while she went inside for a moment.
His phone rang, and he reached into his pocket and took it out.
“Where the hell are you!? And why the fuck is Taehyung covered in blood!” Jimin screamed into his ear as soon as he picked up the call.
Jungkook winced. “I was going to where Taehyung was, but I got distracted.”
“By what!? Taehyung is here, unresponsive and balling his eyes out! Where the fuck are you, and where the fuck is Yoonbin, and what the fuck happened!?”
“I’ll explain, later. But uh...what does Yoonbin look like?”
“Six. Short brown hair, that curls a little at the ends. Big brown eyes, has Tae’s boxy smile. Won’t hear a thing, I mean, it’s not hard to distinguish him from others, he’s deaf.”
“I think I found him, then. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t kidnapping someone’s child.”
“You found him!? Where!?”
“On the street, wandering around. Uh...collect Taehyung and bring him back to the house, I’ll bring Yoonbin and then we can talk about what happened…”
Jungkook was kind of not looking forward to explaining what happened. He picked up the child and placed him in his car, driving back to the mansion.
He received weird looks from his men when he walked in with a child in his arms, but he didn’t pay them any attention as he walked inside and set the child, who was now conveniently sleeping, down.
A few minutes later and Jimin came rushing inside, Taehyung following behind him, looking depressed. But when his eyes landed on Yoonbin, he ran forward, scooping the boy up and falling to his knees, sobbing quietly.
Before Jungkook could say anything, Jimin grabbed the front of his shirt and dragged him from the room, glaring at anyone who looked like they would stop him.
He threw Jungkook into a secluded room and slammed the door shut. “What the fuck happened!?”
“Calm down.” Jungkook demanded. Jimin clamped his mouth shut but nodded. “We went there and she was with some random guy.”
“Of course she was.”
“She told Taehyung some things…”
“What things?”
“She told Taehyung that she’d dropped Yoonbin off, but he wasn’t home. And then she told him that Yoonbin might not even be his son.”
“What!?”
“Yes. She said he was the easiest to manipulate, as he was so young—“
“I’m gonna fucking kill that bitch.”
“No need.” Jungkook sighed out.
“What do you mean?” Jimin said as he froze, dread filling him. He turned to Jungkook. “Please tell me you killed her.”
Jungkook shook his head slowly.
“You idiot.” He whispered out before turning and rushing from the room.
