"This isn't going to work." Minho admitted, shaking his head.

"What do you mean? It's just a little party." Felix furrowed his eyebrows and Chan sighed.

"I think Minho means it's just maybe a little much."

"A little much?" Woojin looked confused. "They're engaged, Seungmin admitted it. How is a little congratulations party not acceptable?"

Chan raised his hands in defense and leaned back into the bean bag chair. "Sorry babe it's okay, forget I said anything."

Woojin's expression was replaced by a smile and Felix cheered. "A party tonight it is!"

"Let's just hope nothing unexpected happens like at the club." Jisung puffed out his cheeks and the others chuckled in agreement. 

Then as a group they decided to stop meeting so not-so secretively in case Hyunjin or Seungmin walked in. 

"Minho wait." Chan called out as Minho was the last one to leave the living room. "Can I ask you something?"

Minho nodded and batted his eyelashes. "Yes hyung I will go out with you."

"What?" Chan asked.

"What?" Minho responded, standing up straight and clearing his throat. "I was kidding."

"Right." Chan shook his head with a smile and rubbed his hands together. "I couldn't say this in front of Woojin because he'd kill me but are you sure this thing between Seungmin and Hyunjin is real?"

"I mean Seungmin admitted it, I was there."

"Yeah but has anybody talked to Hyunjin about it?"

Minho looked puzzled for a couple seconds before he slowly shook his head. "No... shit."

"Maybe you should do that." Chan patted his shoulder and began walking away while Minho whined. 

"Why me????"

Hyunjin exhaled heavily when he felt his body fall onto the bed. He closed his eyes and let the subtle silence fill his ears as the time slowly went by.

Without moving an inch he re opened his eyes in little slits and glanced out the window where a couple birds were perched on a branch close to the house. He felt his lips curl up into a small smile and he was about to get up when he heard a knock at the door. 

"Come in."

Seungmin reluctantly stuck his head in the door opening and bit his lip. "Hey."

"Hi." Hyunjin painfully sat up straight and groaned. 

"Is everything okay?" Seungmin stepped in and closed the door slightly behind him.

"Oh yeah no I'm fine." He smiled a little. "I could ask you the same thing though. Do you need something?"

"No- I mean.. yeah I do." He held his phone tightly in his hand and Hyunjin eyed it in realization. 

"Oh your phone? Is it acting up-"

"No no." Seungmin  cut him off and chuckled a little. "I was just wondering since it is working now... if you wanted to come on a walk and take pictures? You know,  for the branding and whatever."

Hyunjin looked amused as his eyes made his way up to the youngers face which was tinted pink again. "Of course I'd love to. Are you sure you're feeling okay though? Your face is a little-" He stood up and reached out to put his hand gently on Seungmins cheek. "Red."

Seungmin only swatted away his hand and made a repulsed face. "I'm fine. Get your nasty hands off me."

Hyunjin found himself laughing at the change in expression and he grabbed his jean jacket off the back of the chair. "Okay sure. We can go now then."

"Thank you." Seungmin pushed him out the door and scoffed as he felt his face go red again.

"Stop. Right there." Hyunjin held his hand out and clicked the button on the phone. "Perfect sunlight."

"It's golden hour." Seungmin smiled and twirled around as he reached out and felt his fingertips hit the leafs of the tree.

"Perfect hour." Hyunjin swiped through the pictures and puffed out his cheeks. "Except the model, he's not on his best today."

Seungmin abruptly stopped spinning and looked at him. "What???"

"See-" Hyunjin showed him the phone and grinned.

"Excuse me I look so good!" Seungmin snatched the phone and swiped through the same pictures. "Like look! My hair is so fluffy, my eyes reflect in the sun! My outfit is-" He looked up at Hyunjin only to notice the grin and he scoffed. "That's not funny."

"It's hilarious." Hyunjin chuckled and took the phone back. "And you look great, okay?"

"Yeah I fucking know." Seungmin flipped his hair sassily and Hyunjin laughed again.

"Why don't we go out like this more often?"

Seungmin bit his lip and shrugged. "I can't answer that."

"Well maybe we should." Hyunjin smiled and began walking again. "The other guys are cool and all but you-" Before he could finish his sentence a squeal was heard coming from behind them and they both turned around in confusion.

"Hyunjin, Seungmin oppa!" A girl with a bright smile walked, or practically ran up to them. "I'm gonna cry oh my god."

Seungmin winces a bit at her screaming but he smiled nonetheless and extended his arms to hug her. "Hiii! What's your name??"

"Aeyoon!" She giggled and went to hug Hyunjin as he did the same thing. "You guys are my favourite like you don't understand."

"It's nice to meet you." Hyunjin clapped his hands and she jumped up and down a little. 

"You guys are all that is in my camera roll! Well of course the others too but you guys are my favourite ship!"

"Favourite ship??" Seungmin furrowed his eyebrows a little and she nodded.

"Yeah?? Seungjin!-" Her eyes suddenly widened. "Oh my god are you guys on a date right now?? Am I interrupting??" 

"No no you're not!" Seungmin quickly defended, smiling still as he chuckled nervously. 

"Oh thank god." She looked down at their hands and gasped. "Why aren't you guys wearing your rings??"

"Rings?" 

"Yeah? You're engagement rings??"

"Oh-" Seungmin exhaled heavily. "We're not actually-"

"We're not actually supposed to wear them in public. Managers orders, you know, so we don't attract too much attention." Hyunjin cut in, making Seungmin glare at him.

"That's so cute." She squealed again and checked her phone. "Oh my I have to gooo. Can I get a picture first???"

"Of course." Hyunjin smiled at her and took her phone as she shakily handed it to him.

"Thank you guys so much. I love you! Tell the others that please!" And with that she skipped away and Seungmin finally cleared his throat, catching Hyunjins attention.

"She was cute."

"Hyunjin." Hyunjin hummed. "I was going to tell her the engagement wasn't real why did you do that?"

"Because-" He shrugged and kicked a stone. "You saw how happy and giddy she was when she thought we were on a date. There's no harm in a little white lie."

"Except it's not a white lie!" Seungmin whined and stuck his hands in his pocket. "When everyone finds out it wasn't real they're all gonna be heartbroken!"

"Tsk tsk Seungmin you always think of the negatives." Hyunjin loosely threw his arm around the youngers shoulder and he smiled the same. "It'll all be fine."

Seungmin had half the mind to throw his arm off but the other half of him deep down knew he liked it more than he probably should.

Seungmin frowned at the tagged picture and he showed Hyunjin the caption, to which he huffed and ran his hand through his hair. "Man... that's so unfortunate I wish I could help her."

"Let's go find her!" Seungmin stood up from the bench and Hyunjin furrowed his eyebrows and made an expression as if he was crazy.

"Are you kidding me? Seungmin it's already almost 10 pm and it's dark and cold. We have to get going soon."

"Yeah but Hyunjin I can't help but feel bad."

"I know babe but you're gonna have to just wait until we see her again." Hyunjin patted his arm and Seungmin scrunched up his nose.

"Don't call me babe."

"Right sorry sweetheart."

"No! Not that either you dumbass." Seungmin started walking away and Hyunjin ran after him, now smiling like a dork.

"What do you want me to call you then?"

"Hmm I don't know, maybe Seungmin??"

"Okay Minnie." Hyunjin glanced down at his phone that dinged.

"Hyunjin! I swear I'm going to-"

"We have to go back to the house." Hyunjin grabbed Seungmins shoulders and turned him in the direction of the house. 

"What why-"

"Chan and Woojin both texted me saying they have a surprise for us."

"A surprise? I fucking hate surprises."

Hyunjin rolled his eyes at the younger and clicked his tongue. "Let's just go back and see, okay?"

Seungmin couldn't protest and he silently huffed while crossing his arms and letting Hyunjin guide him back in the right direction as they walked down the sidewalk alone.

"Is everything ready??" Woojin placed his hands down on the table and looked around in slight distress.

"Yes hyung." Jeongin smiled brightly at everyone in the living room and Woojin clapped.

"Okay great, now everybody into positions." He looked at Minho and scoffed. "Hey, pretty boy get off your phone."

"He's probably positing pictures of himself." Jeongin chuckled and Minho glared at him.

"For your information I am not. I am texting Hyunjin and telling him to get here quicker. I want to drink." Minho turned around to see Jisung entering the kitchen with Felix and he bites his lip in frustration. "Can we just go get ready?"

Jeongin nodded slowly in confusion at his sudden actions but he brushed it off and got pulled into the other room.

After about ten minutes of hiding finally some voices were heard from outside and Chan rushed to flick the lights off in the main area. He followed the path back to Woojin and he pressed record on his phone camera.

"No Hyunjin I'm not going to post a picture of just you."

"Why not??"

"Because you don't deserve it." Seungmin stuck his tongue out at him and fiddled with the keys in his hands. "Are you sure the guys are here?"

"Minho hyung and Woojin hyung said they were." Hyunjin stood behind him and squinted his eyes when they walked into the dark room. Seungmin went to turn on the lights without hesitation and before he could call out of for any of the guys crowds of people jumped up and cheered.

Hyunjin instinctively grabbed Seungmins hand that was pushed behind his back and he stared at all of the people in shock. He felt a smile form on his lips as he continued to look around and Woojin was the first to approach them with the others following.

"Welcome home!"

"What is this??" Seungmin choked out, tightening the grip on Hyunjin's hand which was invisible to everyone. 

"It's your surprise engagement party, obviously." Felix cheered and pulled them inside with the biggest smile as they were then engulfed in a group hug. 

Seungmin glanced at Hyunjin who knew right then and there he was going to die on this night, and it was going to be purely because of the one and only Kim Seungmin.
