Garroth knocked on the front of Aphmau's door.

"Aphmau?" He called out.

No answer.

He knocked again and Aphmau opened the door.

"What" She said.

Garroth looked at Aphmau's state. Her eyes were bloodshot and the had dark circles under them, like she hasn't slept in days.

"Aphmau, there's something I've been meaning to tell you for a while now" Garroth began. "Aph, Aaron has been cheating on you"

Aphmau looked unfazed by what Garroth had just told her.

"You knew?" She asked. "You knew and you didn't tell me till after I had to see it for myself?"

Garroth stood speechless as Aphnau's tired eyes stared emotionlessly into his soul.

"I-I umm..." Garroth wanted so badly to speak, but the words refused to escape. His vocal cords had failed him.

"You what? Thought it would be nice to keep this secret from your friend? Thought that it wasn't so important to tell me as soon as you found out?" Words spewed from Aphmau's mouth.

"Thanks for being such a fucking awesome friend for letting me know after what? A few weeks? Months? I have no fucking idea how long Aaron has been sleeping around with Michi and I most certainly don't know why. But you've known longer than I have." The fire in Aphmau's eyes didn't seem like they could be extinguished.

Aphmau closed the door before she would say something that she would later regret.

Garroth just stood in his place, guilt washing over him like a tsunami.

If only he had told her when he found out.
