Chapter One: But She's Not Getting Changed
Chapter One: But She's Not Getting Changed
Today I woke up from my hangover. I had this split paining headache.
I grabbed my cell phone and looked at the date, it was February 27th. My birthday.
I tried to remember what had happened last night, and I looked over to the next side of my bed. They're she was. The girl I had slept with. All naked.
I then realized that I'm not in my apartment. I'm in hers, well probably hers. I got up out of bed and placed my clothes on myself. I'd lost a lot of weight after the past six years. Today I'm turning 18.
I leave this chick's house, and walk back to my home courtesy to the GPS on my phone. I arrive at my house, hoping my roommate wouldn't notice. But he's awake.
"Nick, man, where were you?" Bass says.
I respond saying, "I had sex."
"Again?"
"Yeah, Bass."
I walked into my room of the apartment. It's no where near messy. I figure Bass cleaned it. I plop down onto my bed, while looking out the window. The girl I'd fantasize about standing there. She was about to get changed. I should turn away but I don't. My eyes are glued to her. But she's not getting changed. She's putting on her jean jacket over her pink shirt.
I turn my back, and I'm on my side.
Bass walks in and tells me, "Some girl is here to see you." By 'some girl' I figure it's my ex girlfriend, Mary Ann Beth. A basic white girl.
I drag myself to the door while closing my eyes, restlessly. I open the door, still closing my eyes. "Mary Ann Beth, I told you for the last time I'm not taking you back."
She clears her throat. "Ahem." And I open my eyes. And there she is.
The green eyed girl I fell in love with in my childhood.
Seine.
