Chapter Five: A Slutbound Boy
Chapter Five: A Slutbound Boy
Honestly, I thought today would be normal but instead it's really boring. I thought with Sepine gone I could focus on other things I usually thought about.
Sex and girls.
I can't do that stuff for a week. I shouldn't have made that bet but I wanted to prove something to her. I could prove that I'm not a slutbound boy.
Sepine came back into my life, and I can't forget her or keep her off my mind now. Especially that she's at school, a far away distance from me. No where around with that hot, black outfitted body.
No, I can't think of that.
Bass opens the door to the apartment. He's holding a box from Dunkin' Donuts. "I bought donuts." He says, but it's already obvious.
He looks around. "Where's hottie?"
"School, it's her senior year." I say.
"It would be yours, too, if you went to school. Instead of being here all day, doing nothing."
He's right but it would be pointless. There's only one or two weeks left in the school year.
I groan before heading into my bedroom, and drifting to sleep in my bed.
My parents are disappointed in me. Ever since I dropped out of school to become a musician but it didn't work out for me. As expected, my mother didn't allow me back in our house. She didn't want a high school dropout living in her home. My father, of course, agreed with her.
"Nick, wake up." I hear a voice saying. I open my eyes, and see Bass looking down at me upset.
If I didn't describe Bass for you, he's one of my best friends. Bass is dark skinned, black hair, brown eyes, and perfect teeth. He's 20 years old, 2 years older than me.
"What do you want?" I groan.
"Hottie got in trouble at school."

I immediately run out the apartment, and into my Lexus. She's in trouble. Did they call the home phone? What kind of trouble? Is she pregnant? No, that's not the trouble they're talking about. Was there a fight? Is she hurt? All these thoughts ran through my head.
I pulled up outside Opal Rim High School. I thought I'd never see this school ever again.
I click the buzzer, and they let me in the building. "Are you picking up anyone? Or is there anything else I could help you with?" The kind Asian lady greets me. She's in her late forties, about, and had graying blonde hair. I recognized her. This was Ms. Doris, the secretary.
"I'm, uh, Nicholas Gonzalez. I got a call saying Seine Herondale is in trouble." I say, trying to say with authority.
"Oh, yes, that is correct. Miss Herondale got into a fight. They're in the principal's office, right over there." Ms. Doris cheers, pointing to the door on the right of her.
"Thank you." I'm surprised she didn't remember me. I open the door, and Principal Herondale has one hand on his forehead; and another across his chest.
He looks upset, like really upset with the fact that Sepine is in trouble. I wonder if she often got in trouble or if this was really bad.
But then I remember my first month of freshman year before I dropped out. The principal would always talk to Sepine, separately.
The principal is her father.
