"It all started years ago, back when Jungwon's father was our age. A somewhat harmless college party turned into a hellhole within minutes. There was a fire. Few managed to survive. Jungwon's father was one of them. He was devastated by his friends' deaths, and alcohol was his escape.

"It wasn't like he meant to start a... gang? What would we even necessarily be called? I'm not sure what the word for us is, but we call ourselves Dionysus. Anyways, he didn't think that his journey would become such a dangerous thing.

"He was driven mad by grief. Due to this, he happened to discover an incredibly rare flower that, when mixed with alcohol, could make people have major amnesia. We call it the daze. He wasn't going to use this on anyone, and he was actually planning on using it on himself. But then he saw a beautiful woman by the name of Jung Harin.

"Harin was indeed an extremely beautiful woman. She was a model, and many knew her. But Jungwon's dad grew an obsession with her. He figured that she wouldn't accept him if she knew who he was, but if she forgot everything and he played the role of her fiance, she would.

"And just like that, he married Jungwon's mother, and got away with everything, until he began to show interest in other people. This wasn't just women, it was men, children, and it wasn't romantic. He said that they all were capable of 'mastering the wine'. He sounds like a total creep, doesn't he?

"Eventually, Jungwon was born, and his father saw the same potential in him. When he was 15, his father told him of Dionysus and gave him the wine. He was supposed to forget everything, but your sister was the one thing he remembered. And that's why she was led to the party, why she disappeared, and why you are here right now."

Niki finished his speech on the history of Dionysus, which was all was kind of confusing to keep up with, but I understood the main bits.

He looked behind him, making sure that nobody was coming after us (wait, why was nobody coming after us?) "I hope I can finish this before it's time. Okay. Dionysus has different levels of status, from 1-5 so far. People who are newly dazed, such as Jake and Jay, are Level 1s. People who have turned 5 people to the dazed life are Level 2s. Sunghoon's a Level 2. People who have turned 15 people to the dazed life are Level 3s. Sunoo is one. Only those who are special or have turned 30 people to the dazed like are Level 4s, like Jungwon. And finally, only Jungwon's father, known as Dionysus himself, can be called a Level 5."

"Wait, but what about you and Heeseung?" I asked.

He shrugged. "I'm nobody here. Not even worthy of being considered a human being. I'm just a servant, who happens to be rather popular among people, thanks to Kim Sunoo. Heeseung was a Level 3, and you would've made him a Level 4 if he wasn't so intrigued by you."

"Intrigued?"

"He found you familiar. But Dionysus couldn't have that. So he was dazed again, brought back into a drunken stupor with no knowledge of you. He's back to a Level 1, but let's see how long that lasts. He is truly worthy of being a Level 4."

I looked back. "So Kangmin and Junseo..."

"Nope. After the Minji incident, we stopped bringing people into Dionysus, for convenience. We already had enough anyways. That's why Jay and Jake are only Level 1s."

My eyes widened in hope. "Really? Then why was I brought here? Junseo never cared that I didn't like parties before, and you guys had enough people, so you didn't need me."

Niki smiled slightly. "Perhaps fate had already chosen a path for you, so we all had no choice but to comply."

"It's time, you two. Sunoo's getting quite jealous, Niki."

We looked over to see Sunghoon, his eyes for once gentle instead of cold. He walked over to us. "Honestly, I lied to you. I was the one who brought Jake, he didn't bring me. I fell for him, so I brought him so that I would get to be with him. I had a bad past, that's what Jake told me. I was glad that I couldn't remember the trauma. Your sister wasn't so happy about this all. So they got rid of her."

I gasped. "They killed my sister?"

The boy nodded. "And they'll kill you too if you don't get it together. We have one last game. It's the most difficult to win for victims, as they're already so drunk that they can't recall a thing. I'm praying that you'll be different since your sister seemed to be a bit more resistant to the daze, but we can't be sure."

Niki sighed. "Okay. Let's go play."

Sunghoon nodded, motioning to me. "If you run off now, we'll just hunt you down again. Or we'll just get your friend instead. So cooperate and try your best to not die, 'kay?"

And with that, he walked back, Niki and me following. I narrowed my eyes at Sunghoon's back. Was he a good guy, or a bad guy? It was hard to tell, and my brain wasn't working well.

As we entered the house, everyone was in a circle, ready to play the next game. Jungwon gasped in delight. "Our most beloved guest is here! I was scared that you would've left! Would've been a shame if you missed the highlight of the night: Finish The Story!"

Sunghoon and Sunoo eyed each other, communicating through small hand motions and eye contact. It seemed like this was unexpected.

I took a deep breath, standing next to Junseo.

Jungwon nodded. "So I know that this isn't a drinking game, but we're giving everyone a break from alcohol. I know, we usually play the Alphabet Game, but I thought that we'd change it up a bit. After all, we have our first-time partier Hyojun here with us!"

Everyone clapped, and I found my eyesight blurring slightly as the noise grew. "In this game, we start off with one person and go in a circle. Each person says a sentence to create a story. Got it?"

Everyone nodded. "Good! I'll start. Once upon a time, there was a boy named Hyojun."

It's all blurry.

"His sister had died, but he still had hope that she was alive!"

So blurry.

"The foolish boy decided 2 years later to go to a party, without knowing that it was the same party his sister died in!"

The laughter keeps growing louder, and I can't tell if I'm imagining this or not.

"And he gets the same fate!"

So loud, and all I want is silence.

"Hyojun!"

It's all going dark as my head hits the floor.

"From this point on, it's up to you to remember." I hear as someone picks me up.

And then, finally, sweet silence.
