Three things you love besides writing/reading?

1) Lazing in patches of sunshine, like a cat
2) Baking yummy treats
3) Exploring new places!

Three things you hate?

1) The alarm clock, haha [G.S. Glow Commentary: This is a good one! Probably a hate shared among many too.]
2) Bad hair days
3) Having terrible anxiety (my inner voice is really cruel)!

Why do you write?

I just do! There's something in me that needs to. I get frustrated if I haven't written in a while because the urge gets stronger and more insistent. Good thing I love it! It can be hard work but it's relaxing, too - which totally doesn't make sense...

Out of all your stories, which one is your favorite?

Linked [G.S. Glow Commentary: Me too!], because it's the only one I've stuck with (almost) to completion. There are way too many half-finished stories floating around my computer. When I was 16 I went through a poetry phase *cringe*. At least they were all short, so were finished!!

How do you create your characters?

They just pop into my head as I go. If I want to know more about one of them, I'll think about them as I fall asleep and work out what feels 'right'. I haven't based anyone on a real person - yet!

Out of your characters, which one are you the most like? Which one would you most want to be like?

Tricky question! I don't know if I'm like any of them! Benna is very determined and Corin is loyal to a fault, so maybe if I mixed them together I'd want to be like that...

How do you plan out your stories?

I like to write brief plans by hand, like a run-through of the major plot points. Then I type it up, fleshing it out as I go, adding bits of dialogue here and there, anything else that pops into my head. Finally, I use that bulked-up version of a plan to then refer to as I write the story. Things often change from that original plan so I don't stick to it rigidly.
