Why do you write?

It started out as just for fun a couple years ago but then it became an outlet for my imagination and my boredom. These days I just do it for emotional relief because I get stressed a lot and it helps to just write in my spare time.

Out of all your stories, which one is your favorite?

Hmm, it's hard for me to decide because I really love every story that I think about. My characters and plots are all really special to me. For now I guess 'Taping Eggshells' is my favorite because I just really like the characters feel real to me.

How do you create your characters?

I try to make them realistic. If the main character is a girl i usually use my own feelings towards things in her and it helps me describe her emotions better. I think what helps me create my characters is pretending I am each of them and although they all have different personalities I feel like I’m acting and writing them into reality. Most of the time my characters just come to life out of my imagination though or they're based off people I know

Out of your characters, which one are you the most like?

I think I’m probably a mixture of Jay and Mila from Taping eggshells. Actually I might be more like Jay because Mila is often times straight forwards in what she wants and isn't really afraid to be active in a lot of areas of her life whereas jay just seems to avoid and go with the flow. I personally relate to Jay more haha.

What do you do when you have writer’s block?

Cry. haha. I'm just kidding (although sometimes I might out of frustration) but for the most part I just write about myself because I don’t need to plan a story for that. But I have a really bad habit of thinking of new story ideas and so sometimes I publish multiple things at once. It kind of helps me though because I get refreshed to go back to a story I was stuck on.

How do you plan out your stories?

It’s pretty bad, but I don’t plan. I usually have a beginning worked out and an ending in mind with my major plot twists. The rests just pull together and I go with the flow. Although I’m trying to work on better planning because I think that's what leads me to writers block often.
