Three Things you love besides writing/reading?

1) Ice Cream!

2) I am a big tv nerd. I love Sherlock and Scandal, and also saturday night live.

3) Running. I am a runner, which helps with me keep loving ice cream, so it works out nicely.

4) My family. I'd be a jerk if I didn't add them, huh?

Three Things you hate?

1) Ignorance, people who judge based on race, religion, gender or sexuality. It's just not appropriate and insensitive.

2) Neckbeards. Trim that sucker already!

3)  Arrogance. It's never a good trait, and it's definitely not sexy.

Why do you write?

It's a good outlet, and it allows me to be creative. I can't paint or mold clay, but I like to make up stories. It's relaxing to me. I also read a lot, so writing felt like a natural progression.

Out of all your stories, which one is your favorite?

...I just have the one so far...Soooooo that one (The Bubblegum Queen).

How do you create your characters?

I based them on exaggerated versions of people I know. I also base some of it off of the news. One of my main characters is an escort having an affair with a senator, and she is loosely based off of a certain governor's mistress I saw a sotry on years back.

What do you do when you have writer’s block?

I take a break and read, usually.

How do you plan out your stories?

With a carefully crafted bullet point list on what will happen next. And then I write and change everything, and just go with it. It's a very "technical" process of semi-spontaneous writing. Mostly, I like to go with what feels right in the moment.
