Why do you write?

Because I love it! I love creating new worlds, or a new story in this world. I especially love the feeling after you finish writing a scene that you know people will enjoy reading (:

Out of all your stories, which one is your favorite?

Definitely "Why We Sank", a dystopian novel i'm working on and will start posting to Wattpad in the spring.

How do you create your characters?

Usually I think of a personality trait or attribute that I want in my story, and base a character around it. Also, people I've known and seen give me inspiration for characters. And a lot of the time, my characters have quite a bit of myself in them. For instance, Aria from "Infinite"

Out of your characters, which one are you the most like? Which one would you most want to be like?

I'm probably the most like Scarlet from the very first book I completed, "The Lost and The Looking." I'd to be more like Paradox from "Why We Sank." I admire her strength and her witty sarcasm is pretty funny!

What do you do when you have writer's block?

Cry. Hahaha, just kidding.

Well, usually I just try to do something to clear my head like going for a walk, doing some calligraphy, or hanging out with my friends. If that doesn't work, I get my best friend to help me out!

How do you plan out your stories?

I find planning really hard to do because I always ending up straying from the plan if it's too detailed. Usually I will just decide the main events (like 5ish really important points) and just go from there!

What are your writing weaknesses?

Fight scenes for sure, I don't know why though, considering action movies are my favourite. Also romance. I'm just a really awkward human when it comes to that. Hm, and I'd really like to learn how to expand on emotions for characters a little better.

What are your writing strengths?

This is an awkward question for me to answer because I have absolutely zero self confidence, so I asked around to get the answer. So, from what the responses were, I'm good with details and explaining things. I have diverse characters, and am good at cliffhangers. (yay, i'm really glad people think that!)

What genre do you read?

Sci-fi / Dystopians mostly. Also Mystery, YA fiction, action. Lol, a LOT of genres!

Sci-fi, Dystopian, and probably YA fiction. I'm terrible at writing mysteries, they require way too much planning! I'd like to write more action, but like I said, fight scenes are difficult for me.

Well, I think I'll include a tiny bit of the first chapter for Why We Sank!

"Next! Prisoner 38956." The heavy set guard yells into an intercom, while two younger guards stand watch.

"I do have a name you realize," The prisoner, a tall girl in her late teens, rolls her electric green eyes. "And it's kind of rude of you not to use it when speaking to me."

"We do not have time for this Miss. Enter through the security scanner! Now," The guard to the left barks.

"Paradox," the girl says fiercely. "My name is Paradox. Use it."

"38956, do as you are asked!"

"Do what we're asked?" the girl standing behind Paradox says bitterly, hate filling her ice blue eyes. "Look where that landed me."
