Drowning

Drag me down and pull me under

heart racing faster with every clap of thunder

the storm is coming and there's no where to turn

water rising higher, the realization like fire leaves a burn

the water rushes towards me

I cant be free

they slam and crash all around

no matter how hard i try i cant fiind solid ground

gasping for air

you look down on me with your unforgiving stare

icy cold air caresses my cheak

i struggle against the waves but i'm too weak

sinking into the dark as i give up the fight

taking just one last glance at the sunlight
