Prof. Rai entered the classroom and started with the day's topic. Rina struggled to stay awake.

Startled by a cough, she opened her eyes. The Professor was standing right in front of her. Her heart skipped a beat. He was one of the strictest teachers. She almost died of fright when he asked,"Understood?"

A split second decision.......

"No sir."

He could barely control his laughter as he recapitulated the lecture and left the room, without reprimanding her.

"Never again will I stay up all night to read a novel," she promised herself.
